  1. Despite sponsors such as The Gun Store being long standing and faithful sponsors, the UFC, under the direction of Fox, will be banning gun-related sponsors from future events. Just when you thought there was a safe haven from the politically correct B.S. that is poisoning this country. 2. Are TSA agents officially recognized as law enforcement officers? If not, do they even have the right to detain you?
  3. I hope everyone here that has said they will be at Starbucks on Feb. 14 actually show up. Make sure you post this on Facebook, tweet it, or whatever social media you use and let all your pro-gun friends know to be there. We need to show Starbucks that there are enough of us out there that pay attention that it actually does affect their bottom line having us on their side. I'll be at the Bellevue Starbucks early that morning. Hope to see some of you there as well.
  4. The government does not have a right to know what you are doing any time they please. This is the correct decision. The fact that it had to go all the way to the Supreme Court to validate that is a sad commentary on the way our government thinks.
  5. An anti-gun group is planning a nationwide boycott of Starbucks on Valentine's Day. This is good news for a couple of reasons. One, it means on that one day the store will be absent the unbathed hippies that normally frequent the store. And two, it gives us a great reason to visit the store and put our best face on in a public situation. I don't care much for Starbucks coffee but you can bet your butt I will stop by for a cup on Feb 14 to show my support for the company's refusal to kowtow to a smelly bunch of radicals. I think I will also open carry that day, which I also normally don't do. Story here
  6. Yep, it's a Sig. Which means it'll be great.
  7. To those crying about his choice of words, I have three words of my own: Boo f'ing hoo.
  8. I wondered a couple years ago. I'm pretty damn sure now. Obama making a decision not in the best interest is as certain as the sun rising in the East and setting in the West. He crushed the possibility of 20,000 real jobs with this decision. And those were jobs that would have been paid for by and provided benefit to the private sector. But hey, he "created or saved" about 54 jobs by giving a sweetheart loan on your dime to a biofuel plant in Iowa. That's hope and change you can believe in right there brother.
  9. Yea, he acts like this is his first post in this forum or something. Oh, wait.
  10. Funny how big the hole in the end of the barrel looks when it's that close to blowing the top of your head off, ain't it?

    My New 1911

    Good looking 1911. Congrats.
  12. It's been a long time time since I've had a speeding ticket. I actually don't even remember when or how fast. I averaged one a year for about the first 15 years I drove so this is a good feeling.
  13. To me that doesn't really sound like bad advice. Just a differing opinion. In that case I'd just let it slide. Now if he started in with the "all you have to do is pump a shotgun and a criminal in your house will jump out the window while pooping his pants and screaming like a girl" junk, I would speak up. That's not just bad advice, but dangerous. Short of that, let him spout his stuff.
  14. I'm with Nicemac on this one. In fact I'm against the law. Like Mac pointed out it's a free speech issue. And if you're not man enough to tell the nosey doc to mind his own business then I guess you can live with the consequences.
  15. Always a sure sign that you're about to see a video filled with idiocy. Well, I only put 18 rounds in my 19 round magazines so it's not a high capacity magazine.
  16. I'm with Bert. According to handgunlaws.us: It sounds like you can transport if you're passing through but I'd be willing to wager that having it in your locked side bags in a locked case that can only be unlocked with a cypher similar to what it takes to launch a submarine based nuclear missile would still not satisfy the D.C. police.
  17. It sucks you have to continuously repaint the same fences, etc. over and over again. But it's nice to hear that there are people willing to do so for the good of their community. You rock.
  18. This is great news. I WILL be getting one if at all possible. [Exclusive] US allows import of 86,000 M1 rifles from Korea <img src=http://110.45.173.104/www/news/images/ic_korean.gif>

    New XDS

I'm interested and I AM an XD groupie. Yea, I'm waiting for the 9/40 versions most likely.
  20. I'm not a whiskey guy so my tastes aren't as refined in that area as they are in beer. I'm trying to change that though. I've heard good things about Maker's 46 so it's on my list since I do drink Maker's Mark regularly.Angel's Envy has also been on there since I heard some pretty good things about it. I also just picked up a bottle of Jack Daniels Single Barrel from Midtown. I don't know if it's any different than the regular stuff but the bottle is a little cooler. I know, I know. That doesn't count for anything.
  21. Ah, a little slow on the uptake I guess. Even more brilliant.
  22. This one sentence completely sums up gun control laws:
  23. If that was real, it's like the only time I hope the thief gets away. That was brilliant. Not really. I hope he gets caught, but it's still funny.
  24. Let me get this to David. PM me if you haven't heard anything in 48 hours. Thanks,
  25. Could be. The last thing we need is a bored legislature looking at something like this, realizing it's legal, and then deciding that it needs to be "fixed."
