  1. Looks great Tim. Very unique.
  2. Nice. I always wished I had an eye for photography but unfortunately I am left enjoying the work of those of you that do. Good work. I especially like that they are in black & white.
  3. What a fantastic eulogy. My condolences to his friends and especially his family.
  4. You can't possibly have had good coffee then. Coffee, like every other beverage runs the gambit even when fresh and roasted by someone experienced. Amen. The press is definitely the way to roll when it comes to coffee. Sounds about right to me.
  5. Whether it's fairly uncommon or systematic is irrelevant. These individuals are responsible for their own actions and deserve to be called out publicly and punished for thinking they are above the law. I am not making judgments of other officers based on the actions of these guys because for the most part my interactions with the LE community has been positive.
  6. That was his second mistake. His first was answering any questions about anything other than the issue at hand. Where he was coming from or where he was headed was not relevant to the matter at hand and he should have just provided his license and registration.
  7. Their argument is incredibly flawed. They state, "As long as the Constitution is in place there are means for peaceful redress." Well if the Constitution is in place then there is still a 2nd Amendment which was put there specifically to allow the people to rise up against the government in case they attempted something like rounding up citizens. Stupidity can really blind people sometimes.
  8. The gun industry is far from the only industry that does this. Have you ever actually looked at all the B.S. fees you get charged when you buy a car? $150 paperwork fee? Really? Dealer prep fee? I didn't ASK for you to prep the car. And the list goes on just for that one sector. The only difference is the gun industry is not trying to hide that built in cost and they are not passing it on to others who do pay cash. I honestly see no problem with it since they're up front about it.
  9. I have never heard of a warranty starting from the date an item leaves the factory either. I would probably suggest trying to work with both On Target and Arsenal and getting On Target to tell Arsenal they sold the rifle to you new and that they should honor the warranty. If Arsenal won't then it's bad on them.
  10. I have been there. I moved closer to the work though. In my case though it was a no brainer since I couldn't make the money I wanted to make where I lived. So after a few instances of nearly falling asleep at the wheel on the Interstate I announced that a change in domicile was imminent. So yea, I agree a change of one type or another is probably in order.
  11. Just so you know, it's only something like $35 to upgrade from Snow Leopard to Lion. And when I upgraded my MacBook Pro (2nd computer to upgrade) it didn't charge me again when I downloaded it at the store. So for me it was like $17.50/computer.
  12. Probably to justify the stupid and expensive war on drugs. Give them the guns, blame it on dealers, get a few Americans killed, and use that to showcase why the war on drugs must continue and/or be escalated.
  13. I'm not sure, but plenty of studies have shown that criminals' biggest fear is an armed victim.
  14. That article reminds me of pieces by the Brady bunch. The only difference is Brady at least attempts to use data to back up their crap. This guy uses anecdotes and conjecture and nothing else. I think I'll get my advice elsewhere, thanks.
  15. I'm sorry but Alex Jones is more than just a little bit full of it.
  16. Michael, you're going to ruin my marriage. But I'll be there anyway.
  17. Preach it brother. That man is right on. Granted we need Obama out, but putting in Obama Lite isn't exactly the change we were hoping for.
  18. Robert, what time Friday afternoon? I can probably come out after work if that helps.
  19. There are huge differences between redistributing wealth and spreading the wealth around. For example, "redistributing" starts with an "r" and not an "s." Redistributing has more letters. Can't you guys see it?
  20. This will be my first trip to Gallatin for IDPA. Looking forward to it.
  21. I'm stealing this idea. I have a similar Craftsman bench that would be perfect for a project like this. Great job.
  22. Sad but true. One of my high school friends died "while cleaning his pistol." He was a cool guy too. Sorry it had to end that way.
  23. Guys, that just doesn't leave enough people to do it. With only 4 waivers received and me, then minus Steel that's four people so it's gonna have to wait. I will start another thread in the next couple of days to choose a day during April. Hopefully the folks that already have waivers in my safe will still be willing to make it. I really do appreciate everyone here stepping up. Expect a PM/email from me as well so nobody gets missed because they didn't see this thread update.
  24. Your email will be ignored by the highest levels of government in the order it was received.
  25. My God. It's brilliant in its simplicity. You sir have a bright future in politics.
