  1. I wish some of these douche nozzles would visit a country that is REALLY racist. Must be nice living in a bubble.
  2. "Somebody tell that guy if he shakes it more than three times he's playing with it."
  3. Guys, a cop can ask you pretty much anything he likes. You can also refuse to answer the question. You may have heard that "you have a right to remain silent." Yea, that's what it means. But he also has the right to ticket you for the offense for which he pulled you over and being confrontational pretty much guarantees it. So if it's worth $50 or $200 or whatever it is for whatever offense you may or may not be guilty of, go ahead and tell him to take a flying leap if it makes you feel better. Maybe it's an invasion of privacy if he asks and you tell him or maybe it's an attitude check and he just needs help deciding if you get the ticket or the next guy gets it. As long as he's not asking my SSN or other ACTUAL personal information I really don't have a problem with him asking whatever makes him happy. I'll even tell him he looks great in his uniform if he will let me off with a warning.
  4. I just thought it was funny that the police chief's name is Liberati.
  5. Like Sour Kraut said, buy your ammo wherever you want. Though there are several ranges in the area that don't have a "no reloads" rule, there are also a couple others that do. I only shoot reloads in my handguns so I probably won't use their range but I will definitely stop by and see what they have going on behind the gun counter. I'll just continue to shoot elsewhere. No big deal.
  6. Nice find. I love my Kimber and carry it all the time. You won't be disappointed.
  7. Funny how Utah, one of only two states to score a zero on the Brady scorecard consistently is in the lowest portions of all of those stats. Hmm.
  8. I have ownded 4 XD/XDm pistols. I still have two of them. None of them has ever given me the first hint of trouble. My only complaint is the stock trigger which has been taken care of on my current pistols, an XD9sc and XDm9 5.25. Now they are everything I ever hoped they could be.
  9. Not a single business owner in that video. Probably not a single person who has ever contributed anything positive to society. If I am wrong they undoubtedly did it by accident. These people obviously don't understand where anything they have ever purchased comes from. You have to love people who are willing to steal from others but God forbid anyone came for their stuff.
  10. Great advice TDR. You have to do what is best for YOU. The company will always do what is best for THEM. And if cutting you the day after you turn down the better offer is best for them you can bet they will do it. If it does work out that way make sure you don't burn any bridges. Apologize and explain you just can't turn it down. Most folks have been in similar positions and will understand.
  11. I believe an airline or two may have that requirement, but not Southwest. When flying I put my ammo in the mags and put the mags in a small container of some type. It just has to be covered. I've even used those small bags that you keep your sunglasses in.
  12. You did pretty well on that Polish plate rack. The Texas star stage ate my lunch.
  13. Hey Michael, I don't see P2 marked in the stage description for stage 5. I assume it's behind the wall directly in front of the barrel but you know what assuming does.
  14. Beer didn't MAKE you do anything. You were young and immature. Some people are able to handle alcohol at 18. Some aren't able to handle it at 68. Much like we shouldn't punish all gun owners for the actions of a few we shouldn't punish every 18 year old for the actions of...some?
  15. This actually does work. I attended a school at Ft. Huachuca, AZ when I was 19 and they allowed you to drink on base at 18. There were very, very few problems on base and under 21 didn't go down range and raise hell in town. It was a pretty good system. I was in Korea when I turned 21 so it wasn't a big deal when I got back home. But I do think the drinking age should be lowered to 18 everywhere. If you're old enough to vote and take a bullet for your politicians you should be old enough to die having enjoyed a delicious malted beverage legally.
  16. Next time you're in the mood for cole slaw try some apple slaw instead. Cook 1/2 shredded cabbage, covered, in two Tbsp olive oil on medium heat for 6 minutes, stirring frequently. Uncover and add 2 chopped up gala apples, a couple of Tbsp or a little more honey, a few shakes of pepper and cook 6 more minutes, stirring occasionally. Delicious!
  17. Are you looking at new or used? You can find some excellent deals on certified pre-owned cars if you look. All of the main stream Toyotas are excellent in terms of quality but I would think that a corolla might be a bit tight for a family of four. And I would think that the suspension would be straining if you were taking it on a trip and packed the trunk with luggage and diapers, etc.
  18. Nice bike. I have an '08 AE. So, when are we going riding?
  19. Dang. Other than speed and accuracy I have this shooting thing down.
  20. I would not, for one. And here's why: That paltry amount that you get for sitting on your ass is nothing. And you will never get a better job if all you do is sponge off the government. You have to be moving to move up. If one is satisfied living in poverty or near it, they can sit on their ass and do nothing. If however you actually want to provide a better life for your family you MUST be in the workforce. Nobody gets promoted from sponge to manager, at least not in the private sector.

    Rifle Case

^^^That's the question. If you want a decent soft case there are plenty out there from 5.11 and the like that will likely fit the bill. If you really want to go big you could get a Pelican case. They are top of the line and durable as hell. But there are many in between those price ranges as well.
