1. The reason a true constitutional conservative will never be elected in any of our lifetimes is because so many people are convinced that the tripe just spewed by Whittle, a man with whom I normally vehemently agree, is true. It's a self fulfilling prophecy; a catch-22. Oh well, such is life.

A$$ WIPE !!!
They don't do that in TN? Every state I've lived in, before now, takes your car if you're driving uninsured.
In TN you win the Internet if you get caught driving without a license.
The police will not take it during the stop but if you don't have proof of insurance at court your license will be revoked. There is also some heavy fines as well. Also it is not up to the judge it's a requirement.
That assumes that it goes to court. My friend was in a wreck with an unlicensed, uninsured motorist who didn't get so much as a ticket. So much for laws.

Wow.....

This doesn't always work. Many times the owner just changes the name or something and they're back off the list. The sad part is the people screwing our military out of their hard-earned money are often ex-military themselves.
4. Definitely not the one in Knoxville. If it was you would see the street and river in the background.
5. It's ceremonial. They're basically saying, "You stood for me, now I will stand for you." The fact that they do it 24 hours a day come rain, snow, sleet, hail, or whatever else nature throws at them is a testament to the fact that they are as dedicated in honoring our fallen heroes as those heroes were in protecting and fighting for our great nation. Why? Because they deserve it,
6. A recent thread gave me this idea. Pretty much everywhere has their own little traditions that are well known to the locals but may not be known to those who live a bit further away. If you know of such an event, gathering, local watering hole, restaurant or other must see attraction in Tennessee please post it here. For example I just learned that Paris, TN is home to the world's largest fish fry. Why am I just now finding out about this? What else don't I know?
7. Very sad to hear about this. G&L has been my favorite gun store for a while now. You have a great crew working there and that is a huge part of why. Here's hoping your insurance company is easy to work with and swift to pay.
8. Only nine more versions and it will be half as good as Mac OS is today. At least they're moving in the right direction.
9. Usually the room above the garage. Like a den but upstairs usually. YMMV of course, as may your definition.
10. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/42428-tgo-vendor-program-revisions-for-2012/page__hl__%2Bvendor+%2Badvertising David has the pricing info but this should get you pointed in the right direction.
11. Have you considered fishing your walls? I just did it in my bonus room and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. My only regret is that I waited so long to do it.
12. My response was made in jest. I apologize if that didn't come across. The part I was talking about was "They believe that their opinions are important to society at large. Of course, they are wrong, but there you have it." It's sad but people DO value the opinions of these idiots.
13. Actually, it's you that is wrong. Many people get their (version of the) news from these celebritards. That's the unfortunate truth. Just look at how many people use Jon Stewart and The Daily Show or Whoopi and that cow Joy Bayfart on The View as their sole source of news and opinion. It's pretty sad, isn't it?
14. That's a good group. If it were a man sized target those would all be some serious hits. Practicing that far out will make the 3-4 yd shots seem much easier so there is benefit to doing it. If you can keep a group that tight at 10 yds it should be cake at half the distance.
15. You might also see if you can get the door and parts from Pull-A-Part and then see what it costs to get it painted to match. It might save you a ton of money.
16. Didn't say it was. Just letting you know. ;-) I'm just saying I would expect that lack or reliability out of a Windows product, not a "Google" product.
17. Everyone above is correct. The name tngunowners.com, the logo, etc. are exclusively owned by David and not to be used without his permission and all that other legal stuff that comes along with it. If you intended to ask this would be a bad time to try and get an answer.
18. He's getting my vote. Of course just about anything running against Cooper gets my vote. But this guy gets it enthusiastically.
19. As a current Droid owner I recommended the iPhone. Plain and simple, Apple products just work. I'm tired of all the reboots, programs hanging and all the other stuff I would expect out of a Windows product. As soon as my contract expires I am going back to the iPhone.

beer snobs

Look at my name. I am a big time beer snob. Ironically though I prefer ales over lagers at least 50 to 1 but AleHead didn't have the same ring to it.
21. Damn David, you seem to have more than your share of heartbreak. I sure hate to hear about times like these for anyone, least of all good folks. May God give you the strength to be the rock your family needs right now.
22. That's great Willis. I relish every chance I get to introduce someone to firearms, especially the demographics that aren't usually big into guns; women, minorities, etc. I would recommend something other than the P220 if you're buying her a carry gun though. As you know most Sig pistols are not exactly slim and as you know if a gun isn't comfortable you (she) won't carry it. It is a nice pistol though.
23. That's the mistake that everyone advocating "the lesser of two weevils" makes. They assume that every single vote for a third party candidate MUST come from their party. Wrong. Libertarians take a lot of philosophy from both the left and the right. They also discard much from both sides. Therefore a vote for a Libertarian candidate is pretty much equally as likely to pull from Democrats as Republicans. If anything it's a wash.
24. Congrats. When I bought my Tundra it was between it and an F150. But honestly I couldn't find an F150 with the features I wanted for a price I was willing to pay. So congrats on a good find.
25. This isn't in TN. I'm not sure what the requirements are in Wisconsin though.
