  1.   Right, because you couldn't possibly learn to release the safety on a 1911 as you're drawing.    :stir:     The guy in west Nashville: You're not speaking of Tim Calhoun are you? If so, yea he's a member here. There's also Sam in Gallatin who comes highly recommended. I can't ever remember his last name or exactly where he's at but just wait and someone will come along and fill in the blanks.
  2. You can misspell a word the same in cursive or print.
  3.   I hate cursive. The only time I ever write in cursive is when I sign my name. And my signature could just as easily say Daffy Duck as my real name. And nobody cares. The only time I have ever written more than my name in cursive is when school assignments made it mandatory. I have done no research to back it up but I don't think I'm in the minority.     I find abbreviations are quicker. ;)
  4. I'm going to go ahead and guess that this guy never took a physics class and has absolutely no idea to what the phrase "path of least resistance" refers.
  5. Should be fun for new and experienced shooters alike. I hope to see a good turnout.
  6.   Endorsements are on the back of your DL. Nobody checks your endorsements to verify your identity.
  7.   I literally blew a gasket reading that. Literally!
  8. Used my AT&T UVerse app on my iPhone to set it to record. Yea, that just happened. ;)
  9.   This is exactly right. The founders never intended on an income tax; they would roll over in their graves at the idea of the federal reserve; if they knew the federal government could tax a farmer for wheat grown in his own field and consumed only by his family they would start another revolution. And the list goes on and on and on. The country we have now is almost 180 degrees opposite what the founders...well founded.
  10.   Have you tried swishing water in your mouth?
  11. What is price gouging? Is that where someone quotes you a price, you agree to the said price, and then complain because you paid the price to which you and the seller both agreed?    Funny, that sounds an awful lot like the free market at work. Well, all except the complaining part.
  12. I used to have the Swiss Tech 9 in 1 keychain but it loosened up to the point where it would fall off all the time. Cool tool though.
  13. I visited their website. They have several versions of this and they are all equally stupid.
  14.   Don't let the name fool you. I am an ale guy through and through. IPAs are among my favorite beers, though I dig me some Guinness Foreign Extra as well. Haven't tried the Double Bastard yet but I'm sure I will get around to it. Right now I'm kind of on a wee heavy kick. Sam Adams has a good one and Star Hill has a really good one. Mmmmmm, beeeeer.
  15. I love it. Sticking up for your 2nd Amendment rights makes you a patriot of the highest order, worthy of praise, medals, and parads. But stick up for your 4th Amendment rights and you're paranoid. You win. The argument is not worth having if you're not willing to hear.
  16.   I concede that your understanding may in fact be correct. Of course my stance on the issue doesn't change.
  17. To be completely honest I am severely disappointed.                   I am disappointed that the NRA would allow someone who sells, as tartanphantom so eloquently put it, "diabetic horse pi$$" masquerading as beer into such a fine organization. I'd slam my ding dong in a car door before I would be caught drinking that sorry excuse for beer.    No offense to you Bud lovers out there.
  18.   Tell that to the folks that were tackled in their homes in New Orleans during the aftermath of hurricane Katrina for simply refusing to accept an unlawful condition of martial law. Was that paranoid crap?      Then you believe wrong. I am not one to get diarrhea of the mouth and spout a bunch of crap simply because I am protected by the anonymity afforded by an Internet forum. I would absolutely refuse a search in 100% of circumstances whether I am breaking the law or not. It is a matter of principle to me. Whether or not you agree with that principle is a completely different matter. I am not making a judgment about those who would let the police in. If you want to, great. I support that decision as fervently as I support the decision of those who, like me, are not going to voluntarily allow it. Ain't freedom grand?
  19.   The rub here is that in order to legally search your property YOU must be suspected of a crime. I just don't want people in my house for any reason other than an invitation to dinner from me. I would cooperate but I wouldn't let them in. That's not an indictment of police or anything, it's just my rule and it isn't flexible regardless of the gravity of the situation.      Can you please explain to me how exercising rights granted by your creator and protected by The Constitution is "act[ing] stupid"? I obviously missed something here. Just because I have nothing to hide doesn't mean I should give up my rights. It's exactly that kind of thinking that politicians in places like Chicago love to push. "The only ones that have anything to worry about are criminals so just go along with what my minions...er I mean police officers tell you to do." No, I'll just take my freedoms supersized, thanks.
  20.   I use Vihtavuori powder, 3.1gr and 147gr bullets. Of course I also have changed every spring in my gun (XDm 5.25 9mm). This won't run stock springs in my gun.
  21. It would seem this little conspiracy theory was shot to hell (no pun intended) this morning.
  22.   Light is obviously a relative term. The loads I use are much lighter than factor but still make power factor easily. They are light enough that factory loads sometimes make me jump because I am not expecting the noise and concussion that comes with it.
