  1. What a great project. I don't think I could make that on a bet. Kudos.
  2. I don't trust people who don't like dogs.
  3. They say it's hard out there for a pimp, but I'm guessing that sweet gun makes it a bit more tolerable.
  4.   Remember that the next time you're paying a fee to exercise your constitutionally protected, God-given rights.
  5. I think I should be there. We should decide where in Lynchburg. Never been there myself. Or we can meet and eat at the Bell Buckle Cafe with a planned departure time of around 1:00PM. Either way, that's probably where I am eating.
  6. Depending on the day, I might be in as well. Yamaha FJR1300AE.
  7. I got my AeroPress today. It took longer to read the instructions than it did to make a cup of coffee. And WOW is it good! I can use much less coffee because I am grinding much finer and the flavor is amazing. Took about three minutes to make the cup, with about 2.5 of that waiting on the water to reach 175 degrees. For you coffee geeks out there, you know that is quite a bit cooler than other methods, but the flavor can't be beat. I am a convert after one cup!
  8.       Yep. If someone is going to illegally sell weapons to criminals, it's going to be the damn ATF, not you.
  9. I refer to those as "Coffee Bongs" for reasons obvious to anyone who has ever seen them work. I suspect you've never had a really good cup. Good coffee has amazing flavor. Sounds interesting. I love French Press coffee, so I might have to give this a try. Meh, some of us can't tolerate caffeine. 99.99999999% of people couldn't tell the difference in flavor if their life depended on it.
  10. A solution in search of a problem.
  11.   I had a Hyundai XG350L, and it was one of the best cars I have owned. It was loaded, had a V6, rode great, handled decently for that type of car, and was less than a stripped Accord or Camry. I only got rid of it because it was destroyed in the hail storm in March of 2012. They don't make that model any more either.
  12. For those that don't know, the easiest way to get this is to go whatismyipaddress.com. It will tell you the IP address the rest of the world sees for you.
  13. I am going on a three day motorcycle ride at the end of this week. I plan on stopping by Razz's on the way back into town. Can't think of a better way to end a trip than eating great food with like-minded folks.
  14. I'll second that. Great food.    I keep hearing that about Boudreaux. I will have to try both of these.
  15. Yea, that sucks. He'll bounce back, though. One of our dogs has been blind in one eye pretty much since we got him.
  16. I find that hard to believe. We all know that open carry is an open invitation for all to abscond with your firearm and kill everyone in sight. I know this to be the case because I read it on the Internet.
  17. Excellent point. Most of the folks who are against OC act like they have 20 years under their belt as a Space Shuttle door gunner and that is the minimum required by the state to get a permit. In fact, the training requirements by the state require about an hour of range time, and about 7 hours or watching videos, trying not to fall asleep while an instructor explains, poorly, the difference between single and double action, and telling lies. Your permit is in no way a representation of your competence with firearms. It means that for one hour you were able to handle it without killing yourself or the guy next to you and were able to hit a rather large target that is not moving and placed as far as 15 whole yards from you. Congratulations, Jack Bauer, you're a trained killer now.
  18. This is what popped in my mind. It's an easy test and easy fix, as far as I know:
  19.   So someone who carries concealed will go crazy and kill everyone in sight, but someone carrying openly is just a snuggly teddy bear? You can't assess the threat until the bullets start flying.
  20. The Brady Campaign called. They want their arguments back.
  21.   They're both the "cost plus" approach. One is just cost plus more than the other.
  22. Sorry to hear that. The unknown is sometimes worse than the known. Will definitely keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
  23.   I am confident this can be repaired. My daughter's iPhone had a similar issue after I tried to replace her screen when she dropped it. I never could figure out what was wrong, but the guy at the phone repair kiosk in the mall fixed it in about 20 minutes.
  24.   And remove the teeth and fingernails, according to Brick Top.
