This would leave you 17 cents, but you'd be a blues man. http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-Holes-Diatonic-Blues-Harp-Harmonica-Key-of-C-Translucent-/311032452263?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item486afa94a7

You explained it, so obviously the joke wasn't directed it you. -
Good point. Every time I see someone on public property my mind immediately makes the leap to serial killer. ;)

When my grandfather (on dad's side) died, my aunt called my father and asked if he was going to the funeral. My dad said he hadn't decided yet. My aunt told him she sat around the previous day, spent the entire day trying to think of one good thing about him and couldn't, so she wasn't going. My dad said, "Good point," and didn't go either. Pretty sad when even your own kids can't think of a single redeeming quality that would make them at least stand by your graveside as you are sent off.

Luckily I have never been in the situation, but if I ever am, I am going to take the hard way out and fight for my rights. I don't have anything against cops per se. I do, however, have something against any government agent, regardless of their uniform, trying to stomp on my rights. I am just not going to sit idly by and let them do it.

If you need the term "goat" explained to you, remove your silk panties, get your testicles out of your wife's purse, and buy a hot rod magazine. -

I don't carry outside the state without referencing their site. Had to help 'em out. -
Dude, do the hard thing now. I'm telling you, if money is the most important thing to her, you won't ever be able to make her happy. You can't buy love. You can buy plenty of lust, but it ain't the same thing. There is someone out there who will appreciate you for who you are, even when who you are is a broke ass man. And if there isn't, sometimes you can have a lot of fun looking.

Assuming the ruling sticks, which I believe it will, this could be the end of all "may issue" schemes.

Kinda makes you wonder who the girlfriend in those relationships is.

Who told you about the jet? That was supposed to be a closely guarded secret, like the Lewinsky thing in the White House.

Not a 4K, 2160P, Ultra HDTV. Meh. Some people would say the same thing about my motorcycle. I say hey, you can't take it with you. If you can afford $40 grand for a TV with clarity so clear you'll be able to see the future, why not? After all, people buying these right now are putting them in the $10 million homes, which could also be considered excessive. I ain't gonna lie, if I ever won the lottery, I'd have something like that.

I think the headline was the gag, not the video.

Someone please explain what the hell this guy is doing.

After seeing a better picture, it does look super tactical. Probably way above our heads. -
Inquiring minds want to know.

I'm glad you went through the troubles that ended up putting you in a position of need. I would hate for you to have gone the rest of your life without again knowing the joy that comes from helping others. I know people can be real a-holes, but as you saw first hand, they can be pretty awesome for no reason at all too. You can choose to focus on the worst or you can focus on the best. One will cause only you stress and bitterness, the other will not only be good for you, but affect the people around you. Keep your chin up.

If you look further into the video, at about 58 seconds, you can see the same thing from the side instead of from behind. Looks like a normal grip to me. -
Academy of Self Protection in Joelton - What Happened?

You are exactly right about what your experience should be. But remember, if you don't bring it to the attention of the bosses, it can't be corrected. Knowing the Williams' personally, I'm guessing you probably did. -
All good advice. In my opinion, whether you like your ribs wet or dry, if they don't taste good dry it's a waste of time to get all fancy with your methods. You gotta smoke 'em. That's all there is to it. You can do so on a grill using your choice of woods (50/50 mix of apple and hickory for me) and indirect heat. Depending on time you can do the low and slow or turn up the heat and do it a bit faster and still get excellent results, at least as far as flavor goes. I am willing to give a bit of tenderness for time, sometimes. Just depends on my schedule. But you definitely want at least 2-3 hours of smoke to get that flavor instilled. Use just a little bit of chips, and add more every 30 minutes for the first 2-3 hours. Rubbing with just a bit of olive oil will help dissolve some of the oil soluble spices in your dry rub and give you that nice, black coating you want. It ain't burnt, it's just tasty. Once your meat is cooked, turn the grill up, slather some sauce on it, and get the nice burnt BBQ sauce coating on the outside. Mmmmm, mmmmmm. It won't help you this weekend, but my advice is to get a real smoker. They're easier to get the results you want and most come with a built in thermometer to help monitor and maintain temps. Some of the "purists" will balk at me, but I have an electric smoker that also includes a meat thermometer. I can set the temp and time and just check back every now and then and add more wood chips. It is very easy to get good results, and while I may not win the Jack Daniels BBQ contest, nobody is going to walk away from my food saying it sucked. Best of luck to you on your first rack. Let us know how it turns out.

To me gun shops are no different than any other shop. I go where I get the best bang for the buck given all my other requirements: time, budget, need vs. want, etc. Sometimes that means I buy locally, sometimes that means I buy from the Internet, and I have driven quite a distance just to check out somebody's shop. It just depends. But there are gun shops about which we have all heard complaints that I wouldn't buy from if they were 50% cheaper and located right next door. "You know of whom I speak." So yea, all things being equal, I will support my local <whatever> shop. But I'm not going to be robbed or treated like an a-hole just to do it.

Yep. Just write a five page article on a subject about which you know absolutely nothing and voila, you're a journalist.

Guns & Leather competes because when you account for shipping and FFL transfer fees, their prices are pretty competitive. They also come highly recommended for their carry permit and other classes and have a top notch gunsmith on site. Most of the guys in there talk to you like you're a gun guy talking to another gun guy, or they can give you decent advice if you're not. They actually make you want to come back to their store most of the time. In my experience, roughly one in five gun shops, if that, have guys that don't talk down to you like you're some kind of idiot just because you don't work behind the gun counter.
