  1.   The hand that threatens dooooom, yea!
  2.   You don't have to have a permit to carry on private property, so it would still be legal.
  3. Good news considering what they piled on you. Get better soon.
  4. I'll tell ya, guys like Chris Kyle are the wheat separated from us chaff. Making a 2,100 yard shot with a howitzer is an impressive feat to me, let alone with a .338.
  5. I'm appalled by how much government intrusion some of the folks here think is OK, as long as it has nothing to do with our guns. When we talk about gun laws we preach individual responsibility, but when we're talking about licensing for other activities, it seems no amount of government intrusion is enough.
  6.   Personality change was my number one concern too. I asked the vet and she said there should be none, and there wasn't. Chopper is still the same little turd as before the...operation. ;)
  7.   I hope he uses the money to buy a car...from a different dealership...and goes out of his way every day to honk and flip them the bird. Asshats.
  8. I already have two on order.                               In my dreams.
  9.   I know where you're coming from, but she doesn't mind. In fact, I'd bet dollars to donuts she's glad to be the one that gets to take care of you for once.
  10.   Being bipolar is not the same thing as schizophrenic.
  11.   The absolute best advice. I'm not sure how practical it is in a roadside stop, though. I guess you could just comply with orders and not respond verbally to any questions. I have watched that entire video more than once though. When even a cop says don't talk to the police, you know it's best not to do so. I have been given this same advice by a police officer in a training class as well, but in that case it was pertaining to specifically to a self defense shooting situation.
  12.       I think you guys are giving him credit for being smarter than he is. Or, if he is smart enough to pull this off, he's one HELL of an actor.
  13.   You are absolutely correct that there is a time and a place and a way to assert your rights. Simply refusing a search when there is no PC is the right way to do it. You will almost NEVER win once you get to the point of arguing, though. Just state that you don't consent to any searches in a respectful manner and let the dash cam, or your phone cam if you choose to go that route, record your stating it. If they choose to go ahead with the search then let your lawyer be the lawyer. Choosing to get confrontational at the side of the road will only lead to hurt feelings at best; hurt ribs, face, arms, legs at worst.
  14. My whole family are fox lovers. We get really excited every time we see one and it makes the rounds via text pretty quickly.
  15.   I see a distinction between cooperating with the police and voluntarily surrendering your rights. If I get pulled over for speeding and the cop asks to see my license and registration, I will hand them over without a word said. He is perfectly within his rights to demand proof of licensure, insurance, and registration. If he then asks if he can search my vehicle, why should I let him? It has absolutely nothing to do with why he pulled me over. Should I voluntarily submit to a body cavity search as well just so I can say that I "cooperate with the police"? Should I also invite him back to my house to do a warrentless search on my property? Hell, why stand up for any of my rights. I should just go ahead and surrender my firearm too, because if I'm going to voluntarily surrender my 4th and 5th Amendment rights, what value do my 2nd Amendment rights have?
  16.   I'm surprised nobody asked why anyone is consenting to a search in the first place. Getting pulled over for speeding or failing to signal a lane change does not give PC to search the bus.
  17.   You're going to be waiting a long time for 1,000Gbps. ;)
  18.   I read a study about a month ago that compared reported dog attacks by breed and the pit bull had far more reported attacks than any other breed. Of course few Chihuahua attacks would results in a report, so there's going to be some skewing of statistics. But most big dogs could give a grown man a good fight.    I hate Chows the most though. I was attacked by one when I was seven and required a couple of weeks of recuperation. One of my friends in high school had a chow and it bit through his mother's hand while she was giving him food. Like David said, they are crazy!
  19. I believe the 7 that looks like an upside down 2 is from the 7th Medical Command. I believe my dad also wore that patch when he was assigned to the 421st Medical BN (Air Ambulance) in Nellingen, Germany.
  20. The test is wrong. Questions 1, 2, 4, and 12 don't have a correct answer. Not one of the sentences has a period at the end of them. ;)   ETA: Got 15 of 15.
  21. Brother, I've done so much boneheaded stuff in my life, I assume the opposite. If it can happen to anyone, it will happen to me first, second, third, and ninth. Who else do you know that has been a passenger in 16 automobile accidents? Murphy has made me his beyotch so many times, I just call him Big Papa now.
  22.   Or sometimes even if he didn't have one. When it comes to gun stories, the chasm between the truth and the story might as well be the Grand Canyon.      You hit the nail on the head. They want to be PAID $15/hour, not EARN it.      On the upside, if this happens your order will be processed correctly because it will be done by robots.      To be fair, you are holding folks at the store accountable for what the marketing folks put on TV. But I'll bet that sandwich was delicious.
  23. 102. Wow, what a life. So sorry for your family's loss.
