If you don't, you could end up like me, coming over the top of a hill really fast with a 90+ degree turn to the right and looking down at the river below. I use the Scala Rider G3. It works seemlessly between listening to music on my phone, answering calls, and talking to my wife when she rides with me. One of the guys with whom I ride on a regular basis is going to get another one for bike to bike communication. I only wear full face helmets, though, so I can't tell you how it will work with the ball cap. But I do know that the mic blocks a lot of wind noise. The people on the other end can never tell I'm on my bike. 

No matter what happens with this law, we'll still have 13 posts a week asking if "this sign is legal."

I think you might think a bit too much of forums if you think that we pass laws and levy taxes.

Erik, the security sign in your front yard is absolutely a deterrent. Why would you rob a house that you know has a security system when you can go next door and rob one that doesn't? In fact, my brother, who has been in and out of jail/prison more times than I care to try to count, stole a security system sign the first day he moved into his house.

  No. The Supreme Court doesn't get its power from Congress. It gets it from Article III, §1 of The Constitution of the United States of America which states "the judicial power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish."

Is anyone really surprised by these results? I'm not. There are a lot of good bills here, and I didn't really expect many, if any at all, to get the attention they deserve.   I'd like to add that Chicago's decrease in crime cannot honestly be attributed to their concealed carry laws. They saw a sharp decrease in crime in the year before the first person got their permit. Of course, they didn't see the sharp increase that gun-grabbers would have you believe is the inevitable result, either.

Apparently they used outdated methodology to collect the data. Gallup's polls show differently, and I trust their data much more.

I was going to go see it, but then my dentist offered to give me a root canal with no Novocaine. I think I made the right choice. 

  I think this is exactly where this thinking comes from. The pre-series 80 (or pre-series II, if you're a Kimber guy) were not drop safe with the safety in the off position. Newer (as in the last 30 years) 1911s don't have this flaw, in general, and should be considered drop safe. I have never tried a good drop test with my 1911, but I have with Glocks and XDs, both successfully. I guess it's time to give it a shot and confirm what I already know. 

  Brother, it don't matter how long it takes to reload. A couple of episodes ago I counted 12 shots out of that gun without a reload, so you don't have to worry at all. I'm pretty sure he still had at least 5 shots left, too.

  Mine has the JBL Nav/Stereo/CD system. Knock on my hard head, I haven't had any issues there either. I am going to research the air injection pump thing for good measure though. I just went over 100,000 miles, so I want to be ahead of the curve. 

  No issues yet. There was a recall on something relatively minor. I can't even remember what it was, but I took care of it.

Beautiful truck. I have an '08 Tundra Limited that still runs like a top. It's about due for some shocks, but that's it. Otherwise, it hasn't given me the first hint of trouble. Close hood, run forever.
