Agree on the house antics. 1. I can't believe how childish these guys act in that house. 2. It's a nice house! I can't believe Dana lets them tear it up every season like that. I guess it makes good TV. I watch it because I love the UFC fights and I get to see some folks that are up and coming that I might not have noticed before. They could leave out the house stuff completely and focus on the challenges, training, and fights, and it would be a much better show.

Which is exactly why I tell them up front. You know it's going to come up during their check, you know there are some officers out there that incorrectly believe you are required to tell them, and you know you can get all of this out of the way up front, real nice and polite like. To me, it's a win-win. Besides, both times I've informed up front, I've gone on my merry way none the poorer. Might be coincidence, might not. But so far it's been 100% effective, so why change?

My favorite: The class is learning about 3 syllable words. Little Johnny of course is raising his hand but his teacher is trying to ignore him. Finally, she must call on him. So she says, "Ok, Johnny, do you know a 3 syllable word?" Johnny replies, "Yea. Urinate." The teacher is pleasantly surprised. At least it's the correct term. CIS' class is great. Todd and Dustin are top notch. Todd thinks he's better looking than he is, but I won't hold that against him. We can't all be as gorgeous as me.

Another thing. That loud banging on the door is how they check if somebody is home. If you hear somebody banging extra loud, get your gun immediately. Then you can decide if you want to answer, peek outside, etc.

Technically, I don't think the "opt out" was legal. It circumvented the part of the law that says that restrictions are only to be put in place "with a clear view to prevent crime." Not one person on the council, including that blow hard Jerry Maynard.

Done. On another note, after the August meeting about the guns in parks, I spoke for about 10-15 minutes with Coleman. Although we disagreed, he wasn't insulting or condescending so I respect him for that. This just ups my opinion of him a notch. He's not my councilman, so I don't know what else he may have done to tick people off, but there ya go.

I have two Blackberry devices, the Curve on Verizon and the Bold on AT&T and my wife has an iPhone. The iPhone is the bomb diggity. For the record, though, neither AT&T nor Verizon is the actual seller of the apps. And there are plenty of free ones for both. Pandora is my favorite, but there are plenty of others.

Tell them to keep at least one of those guns handy so the next time they lock themselves in the bathroom they can blast the turd if he decides to come in after them.
