Even the satellite intel used by our troops is almost never a live feed. They are using it just to get a feel of the base's layout, etc.

It does sound great. The only problem is that you need congressmen to enact it, and that ain't happenin'. There's probably a couple that would sponsor such a bill, but only because they know it would never get enough votes to pass, so there's no risk.

Both of my XD's and my XDm have this same "issue." I have just learned to push up on the mag with the palm of my left hand - as in when you are inserting it - while pressing the mag release. After you have had the gun a while, you will find that you like it so much that this one minor irritation becomes a non-issue.

Yea, there are definitely worse forums out there. A lot of good folks, and the few times I have gotten together with them, we've always had a great time shooting, etc.

But we have one of the highest sales tax rates in the nation. That goes to pay for those things that other states use an income tax to pay for. Unfortunately the 2nd Amendment hasn't been incorporated to include the states yet, so the states, Tennessee included of course, can make their own laws regarding firearm ownership and carry. And in Tennessee it's illegal to carry a firearm on your person. An exception is made for those who pay the fees to get a carry permit. Therefore in Tennessee it actually is a privilege and not a right. Hopefully NRA v. Chicago will change that very soon though.

Good response Verbal. If I had a store, restaurant, etc, I would definitely give a discount. Besides, places that give discounts have lots of customers in uniform. Even dumb criminals don't rob a restaurant full of cops.

I have both. The Wii is the bomb if you want family games, where everybody gets together and plays, laughs, etc. Xbox has more non family friendly type games, like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2! Of course the Wii has it too, but it doesn't come HD ready, and I'm not positive HD is an even an option, but I just got mine, so don't quote me. Xbox also has a bigger online community, Xbox live, that gives you lots of Internet rangers to shoot. If 8 year olds trash talkin' and calling you names bothers you though, you might want to leave the headset off. That's my $.02.

Man, I need to add that one too. But I really need to lose weight. As soon as I get over this cold, I'm going to start running, boxing, and doing push-ups and situps, etc. again.

That about sums it up. Unfortunately the schmucks who insist on getting blitzed and getting behind the wheel will continue to do so until either they kill someone, themselves, or see a loved one get killed by another schmuck that insists on doing the same. That's why I have no tolerance for drunk drivers. Besides, I have enough close calls with the sober ones on their cell phones. Stay safe out there folks.
