I have nothing to add. But I am glad you came out relatively unscathed. I hope that once you decide on what's happened we can use it to our advantage.

The trigger is heavy. The fix is easy. But I had one for several months and never could get it to shoot reliably, so I decided I wouldn't be able to trust my life with it. I had failures to eject and double feeds on it every time I shot it. Traded for an XD and haven't looked back.

The feeling is mutual. They don't understand how you can cling to logic in the face of their views.

I've had a similar situation that happened multiple times before I realized it was a shampoo bottle dropping in the shower. Definitely an advocate of one in the chamber at all times. Now I need to get a light. I've been using a small hand held LED light that is great, but not attached to the gun.

I actually thought about that as I was typing it, but how do they know it's unlawful? I mean they were told to give a guy a drug test, which is something they do on a regular basis anyway when someone refuses to submit at a traffic stop. I'm just saying they shouldn't be fired. Maybe some other "corrective" action, but I think the judge is the one to blame here.

Agreed. Except the LEO's losing their jobs. They're not the lawyers, so they just do what the judge tells them. The judge is supposed to know and act within the law, so yes, toss his sorry but out on his ear.

Not me. Every now and then even the ACLU gets one right. Whatever it takes to get that judge off the bench. He's a damn menace to society. There is no way I would have submitted, even though I have never even smoked a joint. I would have been jailed on principle. What a super douche bag judge. </rant> I don't see how he can. You can't just pick people out of a crowd and order them to do whatever you want just because you're a judge. Too many judges in this country think that they ARE the law. I'm getting about tired of them. Maybe one of our lawyers can tell if this is really legal.

Nope. But I will say that many black leaders have successfully pulled the wool over the eyes of those that follow them, making them think that guns are to blame for the ills of the world. As many of us that make a big deal when another woman carries, it's as big of a deal when a member of other minority groups carry too. Hopefully he will do like the rest of us do and bring more friends into the fold, who will in turn bring more, etc. Eventually we can hope that it won't be unusual for members of all colors, creeds, shapes, sizes, and in the cases of a few folks on this board, species, to carry daily.
