  1. That's a new one to me, and it seems like a lot of good information. Thanks for posting.
  2. The bills gotta get paid. Good job with the info, oh Master of the Ban Hammer.
  3. Is Branson, MO within 4 hours? My sister lives near there and she says she always has a great time there.
  4. They'll charge him with 1st degree murder so they can plea bargain him down to a lesser charge and still claim a conviction. Like you said, unless he somehow verbalized his intention to actually kill the guy with a punch in the nose, there is no way they can prove premeditation. But they'll use that to scare him into accepting a plea bargain. I hope he has a good lawyer, assuming of course this was just your run of the mill bar fight.
  5. You know, communists like the Colts too. You know what else the commies like? Stalags. Just sayin'.
  6. Or have owned one. I've never owned a Glock, and my fingers are just fine. The one I owned was a VE version, .40 cal. I got rid of it as fast as I could because of constant FTF, FTE issues. My XD and XDm never had those problems. I know I do.

If you're going to get an FS2000, get some optics. The stock iron sights suck pretty bad. Kind of a sweet looking gun otherwise. (Haven't shot one yet.)
  8. I traded mine for an XD too. Or more specifically, an XDm. Like was already said, there's a lemon in every bunch, and that was mine.
  9. Wow. What a gift. You owe that man a beer.
  10. Just remember though, the military weapons are made by the lowest bidder. There is some truth to what they say, though it is relative.
  11. Smith & Wesson SWVE 40. I hated the mile long. 8 pound trigger pull, it jammed constantly, and it was accurate as Stevie Wonder's guns.
  12. I don't know if it is. I think he's been sporting shorter hair for quite a while. Don't quote me though.
  13. Was he dressed like a zombie, and did you shoot him?
  14. Just because everybody recognizes the mods are evil geniuses doesn't mean they have an axe to grind. Sheesh. Settle down, Gun Powder. They can't promote you.
  15. I like piston. The bolt stays much cooler, which does aid in reliability. It does have one more moving part - the piston - but to say it makes it unreliable I don't think has been proven or substantiated here or anywhere else. On my Sig 556, the piston mates with the bolt and when the bolt moves rearward, the piston comes with it. The spring around the piston compresses and when the bolt reaches its rearward position the spring returns to its original position bringing the piston and bolt with it. I've shot both, carried M16A1, A2, and M4 in the Army, and I'll take the piston driven gun every day of the week and twice on Sunday. It shoots very smooth, cleans quickly and easily, and has never jammed on me yet. YMMV.
  16. I chose the 25th, but the 2nd is the only day that's out. If I pick up trash on my wife's birthday, I'll be sleeping with it.
  17. Well, DUH!!! Sig doesn't make a whole lot of crap, do they? A lot of great guns.
  18. This is of course backed by evidence and in no way a liberal conspiracy theory right? So you will of course have no problem producing said evidence. We'll be here waiting when you do. In response to your first part about 29 arrests with 25 being illegals. Do you think that possibly it could be maybe that just perhaps: A) They were breaking TWO laws at the same time while others were breaking only one, therefore warranted arrest, or Illegals are a lot harder to track because they don't have a social security number and therefore detainment was warranted, or C) They were arrested so they could be handed over to ICE for deportation which according to federal law is the correct action? To a liberal the only possible reason for the arrest of an illegal alien (please note the word "illegal," look up its definition and then continue reading) is racism. Illegal alien sets off bomb killing 1,000,000 people and is arrested = racism. Get your head out of...the sand, yea that's it. Some say that the place with the highest instances of racism is the Southern U.S. I say it's the liberal mind.
  19. I am a long time Maiden fan too. The first time I heard "The Trooper" I was hooked. Their music is top notch with great lyrics and they pay homage to some of the best literature, mythology, and figures in history. Nikko is an awesome drummer backed up by some other pretty talented guys. :-p Robert
  20. That's incredible!!! How did you get a GM car to go that fast? Guess you edited out the tow truck too.
  21. I just read something interesting to that fact. According to the article, the British accent back then sounded more like what we now know as the American accent. Of course not having any recordings they used the teachings of such things as how the letter R is pronounced, etc. as their source. Speaking of wankers. Sorry, couldn't resist.
  22. Aaaah from the mouths of babes. When my son was about 3 he had a stuffed Boston Terrier. As you know, they are mostly black with white bellies. He named his dog "Blacky." Once when in Centennial Park in Nashville he spotted two black gentlemen walking, one with a Boston Terrier on a leash. He saw "his dog" and screams at the top of his lungs, "Hey Blacky. Blaaaaaaackyyyyyyy. Hey Blacky!" We knew he was talking to the dog, but I'm sure everybody else was looking at us like I was the Grand Wizard of the KKK or something. Man, that one had me in stitches. HI-larious. Good one. All in a day's work, mam.
