Question for the lawyers in house: are you required by law to rise when a judge enters the courtroom? I found an answer that says that this is simply tradition that started because the judge used to carry The Bible into the courtroom and it was this law for which you were rising. Now it seems that it is a tradition that has just continued. So if I refused to rise when a judge entered, could I legally be put in jail? If the judge doesn't rise when a cop, firefighter, decorated war veteran, or ER doctor enters the room, I don't think I should have to rise for someone that is after all, supposed to be a servant of the people. Discuss.

True, but the NRA wasn't trying to make the bad bill go away as much as get their exemption. If it had passed with an exemption for only them it would have been a bad bill too. Maybe even worse than if it passed with no exemption. But in the end as long as it doesn't pass at all, that's the really important thing.

For overall quality North Face is hard to beat. Columbia makes some good stuff too but it is also expensive, though not quite as much as North Face. Watch sales at Academy and you can find some Columbia gear at pretty good prices. Of course their prices are best in the spring. My advice would be to get something on the thinner side that you can wear by itself in cool weather and wear layers underneath it in the cold weather. That way you stay warm and you get a lot more mileage out of your jacket.

I'm sorry, but if "fudge" is anywhere in your coffee name, you can drink strained through a used oil filter and you still forfeit your man card. Kona is good and some of the smoothest I've tried, but to me it lacks flavor. For my money it doesn't get any better than Ethiopian. It's where coffee originated and they do coffee like the French and Italians do wine. It is no joke to them. After that, some Brazilian or Sumatran are also pretty good staples. F-----

Also a good point. I would suggest if you are offering up your gun to be shot, specify the ammo you don't like. I prefer brass cased ammo in mine. As long as it's brass I'm OK with it.
