  1. I've been up on Shasta, to somewhere around 13,500 feet. That's the highest I've ever climbed. The view was amazing. I can still remember looking down on clouds and eagles soaring while sitting on a glacier eating lunch. I don't think it gets too much better than that.
  2. I have yet to understand how "redneck" became a derogatory term. It's roots stem from the fact that farmers, i.e. people who worked their asses off outdoors to feed you and me, have red necks from being in the sun all day. How is someone calling you a hard worker an insult? Oh wait...
  3. Why would you bring up Natural Light in a conversation about beer? That's like bringing up Rosie O' Donnel in a conversation about women.
  4. I live about 4 miles from the cemetery, so I am going to try to be there if work will allow me the brief time away.
  5. That's completely understandable. But a chicken?
  6. Hey, that's good shootin', I don't care what you say. I've never even taken aim at a target at 1,000 yards, let alone hit one...multiple times.
  7. That's because it is true. Since the start of Jade Helm I have run out of toilet paper...twice. Not only that, but the power went out at my house the other day with no warning. And to top it all off.. My dog bit me on the leg today, the cat clawed my eyes. Ma's been thrown out of the social circle. Dad has to hide. Who's the crazy conspiracy theorist now?
  8. Finally paid for mine. :D How are you collecting mailing addresses?
  9.   Kinda sad that we have to put up with any of this crap over something that is a right protected by the Constitution.
  10. I wear Natives and they are pretty good, but I prefer Oakley. I don't think anybody's polarized lenses are quite as good as Oakley's. To me it seems you will not get any sharper vision than what Oakley provides.
  11.   I can tell you're a heck of a nice guy, calling Rosie a woman and all. :D
  12. This is why I believe a person's rights should be restored when they are released from prison. If you have served your time, you have served your time. If you haven't, why are they releasing you from prison in the first place?
  13.   Even on pistol? I would have expected this with rifle, maybe, but since he mentioned 9mm I chimed in.
  14. I've been reloading for about three or four years and I've never noticed any brass shavings. I'd say something needs to be adjusted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15.   Bah. A Dremel with a polishing wheel is a great way to polish the internals.
  16. I'll add to also get the flexible extension attachment. It makes things much easier.   http://www.amazon.com/Dremel-225-01-Flex-Shaft-Attachment/dp/B0000302Y8/ref=sr_1_1?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1440620672&sr=1-1&keywords=dremel+flexible+shaft&pebp=1440620674404&perid=13GNKMECQDDG9MYBSWQ6
  17. Edited the title for you. You forgot the date in the original.
  18. A Chechnyan rebel with a terminal illness and a missile full of small pox.
  19.   Why not use your expertise to help instead? After all, is that not the exact intent of targeted forums?
  20. What's the item? If I can turn this into an all-day motorcycle ride, I might be interested. I have side bags, so something the size of a full face motorcycle helmet or smaller would fit in either of them.
  21. You can hunt coyote year round with no bag limit, but you still have to have a license.   Edit: Agree with Omega. Use the .223 since it is more accurate at distance.
  22. I don't think it will be a huge problem. Here's my suggestion: Place your index finger (what's left anyway) along the slide as you normally would while holstering, etc. Grip the gun lightly with your right hand. Place your left hand over your ring finger and pinky and grip tightly with your thumbs pointing forward.   This is basically how many competition shooters grip, with their weak hand gripping much tighter than their strong hand. The theory is that it allows the muscles in your dominant hand to relax, giving a smoother trigger pull. Therefore, your strong hand isn't really the one providing the bulk of control of the gun. Of course, keeping the bore axis in line with the bones in your strong hand and a tight grip combine to control recoil. I haven't tried this with my middle finger, but I think the theory is sound. Really interested to see what you finally decide and how things work out. Keep us posted.
  23.   I have both arms and I can't be more than about 2% tactical. ;)
  24. I'm surprised nobody has requested number 5,318,008. :D
