MORE .30-06 HXP AMMO SOON: The CMP has been successful in acquiring another large quantity of HXP .30-06 ammo. We expect delivery in Jan 2010 and should have the ammo ready for sale by Feb or Mar. Until we actually receive and inspect the ammo, we will not know what packaging configurations will be available, but expect them to be the same as we have had for the past few years. We do not yet know what our final cost will be. We do know that the quantity is large enough to satisfy our customer needs for several years. We will not accept any pre-orders or establish a waiting list. Thanks for your support and patience

See my "I miss MOLLE" thread. SunTzu tried my Baltoro. Both top (standard) and rear (zippered) access of main compartment. 2 long zippered side compartments. Upper, Rear and lower zippered compartments. 2 small zippered pockets on the waistband. Hydration compatible (fancy way of saying it is set up for a camelback bladder w/tube exits in the main compartment. Mine has a weighed 50 pounds in it right now. I can feel it, but it is comfortable. Doesn't feel like 50 pounds, thats' for sure!

Apparently the guy on the other forum is a TAPCO commando with a set of screwdrivers from Midway. This makes him a gunsmith, I guess. After he informed me that the issue M16's are more accurate than National Match .30 cal rifles at any range, and greentip 5.56 has more penetration at long range anyway, I just let it drop. He really needs to tell the Army that they are foolishly wasting money equipping snipers and DMR's with unnecessary rifles and ammo, when they ought to be giving them rack grade M16s and that anti-tank 5.56 ammo. Anyway, I'm about done there. Nothing I can teach such a well-trained basement ninja, and darn sure nothing he can teach me. Sorry for the thread hi-jack, Goomba. By the way, when I went to Anniston, one of the carbines I picked up was blued, but not marked as a Bavarian issue. Anyone else seen this?

Probably using it for drive-offs, stealing gas.
