  1. You wanna explain that comment. You really do.
  2. Shipboard until noon, then I went out and did a little painting...
  3. Diversity for the sake of diversity is not now, and has never been, an American value. Out of many, one. Pathetic stunts are all those socialist drips have to divert attention from their miserable failures and anti-American agenda. No wonder the pols in that state are so anti-2A. Pretty clear that it's about time for patriotic citizens to restore traditional values.
  4. Doesn't seem like they're gonna let it stop them... Go through the BoR, tell me how many are still being observed.
  5. I have some really funny ciws stories for you guys next time we get together...
  6. Titans' dogs have ruined me... I'll never be able to enjoy a merely mortal hotdog again. Stayed very busy, as usual at these things, so didn't get enough time to spend with some of you folks, but we all had fun.
  7. There are days that's my theme song....
  8. I've got too many now, but that is a great price at Cabela's. If it was a .36... I only thought I was getting them clean. Just for giggles I dropped one in the ultrasonic cleaner - that was a real eye opener. I'm using eezox to lube, works well, cleanup is easy. Wonderwads instead of crisco.
  9. Hey, his bonfire was on purpose!
  10. Bill, thanks a bunch for what you did get done, and no worries, I believe we're having a weed whacking party Saturday morning.
  11. Ha. The mission is to interdict south bound contraband - stop the mostly imaginary flow of guns, I suppose.
  12. Anybody want to make a bet on the ROE? Obama has no interest in, and will not permit, securing the border. This is nothing more than a circus for the masses. No actual invaders will be harmed (or halted) in this production.
  13. Coker provided new tires and tubes for my 36 Plymouth.
  14. Hi all. Thanks for covering the basics, SunTzu. Directions are posted at the link on page 11 of this thread. Alternately, for the gps equipped, plug in the street address shown on the map, city is church hill. Make sure you select Dickerson road - there is a Dickerson lane that is nowhere near me. For further info or a contact number, PM me by Friday, I will respond in the late, late evening. Looking forward to it!
  15. Best cure for recividism ever discovered.
  16. Not an urban legend, HC did reverse Bush era policy on the treaty. But what are the odds the Senate will ratify?
  17. Sure, why not? I've got a couple small target stands, that's all... and there is still one pile of wood that needs to be burned. Last caveat is 'bring your own lunch'.
  18. ATN Aries Paladin. $500. Good out to 100 with the illuminator, I think it'd be okay at 150 or 200 with a better illuminator. Pros: Battery life is good, illuminator is a separate unit that will mount to the top of the scope or to a rail. Image is okay, especially considering the price. Decent reticle. Mounts to a picatinny rail. Cons: Relatively bulky and heavy. Image isn't nearly as good as some of the gen2 stuff (but you get what you pay for...)
  19. I had an original AR-180 for years. Fun to shoot, accuracy was better than the mini-14, never could find a scope mount for it, and couldn't replace the barrel. The original version would make a good trunk monkey, but to be honest, there are other options available these days. I'd pay 4-5 hundred for one, but no more...
  20. The government can't produce wealth, can't create jobs - not wealth producing jobs, anyway. Every dollar the government spends comes from either taxation or devaluation of money through printing. Unions these days are vampires, using intimidation and government influence to force their victims to submit. Like a virus, these two parasites are killing the host.
  21. Natural beauty, historic sites and sights in abundance, local festivals, some interesting shopping, geological and paleontology (Google Gray fossil site), and a lot of great folks...
  22. Daley isn't about to roll over and let the peasants defend themselves in his fiefdom. He'd rather they die than lose even the slightest hint of control in what he considers his personal property. He really ought to be stripped of his bodyguard and dropped off in a bad part of town. Doubt it would change his opinion, but the citizens of Chicago might get a chance to choose their own mayor.
  23. I picked up a flat top dpms 16" last weekend for just this purpose. I had figured on 62gr soft point but sounds like 55gr ball will do the trick Finally have a task for a poodle shooter.
  24. Don't think I care to "fill you in", Dave. Frankly, sounds like you're sorry you missed the party. Yeah, some CS would've come in real handy.
  25. Dave, at what point does a trespassing mob intent on terrorising a family become "innocent people"? What criteria or logic did you use to determine that this group, assembled and bussed in in such numbers that it intimidated police officers, consists of choir boys and Sunday school teachers? At what point did mob tactics, used not to protest but as blatant intimidation - and, mind you, against an individual and his family, become acceptable to you? Not in my country, pal.
