Emergency Essentials (google it) has some great long-shelf-life powdered milk. Wonder of wonders, it tastes like milk, not chalk. I have a couple or three cases. The stuff tastes as good as store-bought, and works out cheaper these days. That DOJ is pushing this matter surprises me not at all. Make it into a racial issue (energize the base), make it into SYG=Murder issue (push their pet ideologies and again, makes a few of their leftwingers happy), and above all, keep people talking about this rather than minor issues such as, say, the economy, inflation, jobs, energy costs. And hey, Bkelm - I spent 29 years at sea. I was NEVER that bored. -

6.8, if you shoot a green, you aren't a racist, you're a Denier... which might actually be worse And it doesn't make you a mall ninja, but undoubtedly you're in the pay of Big Oil. -

Zimmerman is driving to the grocery store. Notices Martin (who appears to be adult) going from patio to patio. NOT WALKING DOWN THE STREET. Martin sees Z watching him, raises his hoody and runs for the bushes. Z is already on the phone with 911. Gets out of his truck (because Martin IS NOT walking down the street) to keep Martin in sight or see which way he went - in order to advise the police. When the operator tells him they don't need him to follow, he turns around and heads back to truck. Mall Ninja? Guess I am one too, I would do the same thing. Almost everything else (including the iced tea and skittles) is bushwa, intended to paint a portrait of an unsuspicious youth on an innocent journey. So. You live in a high-crime neighborhood - lots of break-ins. You see someone unknown to you, going from yard to yard, patio to patio (looking in the sliding glass doors, maybe?) Do you - Call 911 and attempt to keep the individual located until police can arrive on scene (mall ninja, according to some) Ignore it and continue to the grocery store ("responsible" permit holder) What the heck is responsible about seeing a stranger going through your neighbors back yards, running and hiding, and ignoring it? -

Zimmermans' 911 call Well, so much for the "pursuing Martin in defiance of 911 operator" Mall Ninja idiocy. -

Thanks! All hand stitched - sewing machines tough enough for leather are expen$ive!. I took it up as a hobby a couple years ago, like to think I am getting better at it.

I have a Berkey as well. Bought it for "just in case" and ended up using it for a couple months at my new house before I got a filter system installed. Enthusiastic two thumbs up. Have an MSR miniwerks in my pack. Works very well but slow.

That is one of my favorite signs - along with the one that says "Friends welcome anytime - Family by appointment only" -
I am not close to Nashville, but if you will trace the blade and guard and mail the tracing to me, I'll make your sheath.

Don't get too judgemental, far as I can see you're pretending to be unbiased. -

Us being people who support innocent until proven guilty, right to trial, etc. Them being people who think rioting is good exercize, support Judge Lynch, innocence or guilt determined by skin color, extortion is just how things get done. The barbarians are inside the gates, and some people still want to debate the nature of the problem. -

Well, so far every accusation and complaint raised by the 'victims'* family has been shown to be groundless, and all the media hype has proven out as manufactured. * A more descriptive word would be assailant; evidence and eyewitness reports have Martin beating Zimmerman into a pulp before the shot was fired. -

I'm tired of paying danegelt. Thats what we're doing, you know - trying to bribe modern day barbarians into behaving. The poster for the NBP's "day of action" is little more than a ransom note. -
Yeah. Who knew justice meant theft?

Kind of a "put up or shut up" thing. -
Well, don't bother trying to mount them. Just too hard to skin

Hello Lonnie, I used to live in Tri Cities, I'm now a bit farther west - about an hour and a half from you. If you find yourself in my area, stop by and we'll do some shooting off the porch.

Here is another tidbit. I've read on several sites now that Trayvons family hired a PR firm to smear Zimmerman - the source for much of the mis-information. -
Holster stays put. You do have to wear a man belt, not one of those thin vinyl things.
-
I made this one for a local realtor in December. He just sent me photos. Looks like it is holding up well. No retaining strap, but doesn't need it. The molding is tight enough you can hold the holster upside down and shake it without the pistol falling out.

I actually own a fully restored M37. I had at one point given serious thought to putting a pedestal mounted .30 in the back. MUCH cheaper to operate than an M2. The M37 will go everywhere the deuce and a half will go, and a few places the deuce won't.
