I picked up some GI mag bandoliers from Amazon for $7 each.  They'll get here Tuesday.  They're similar, maybe my 20's won't get lost in them.

How does it do with 20's?

I once traded a shipmate a coffee pot for one.   Shoulda kept the coffeemaker.

Where can I find a reasonably priced, decent pouch for 20 round mags?  GI surplus pouches seem non-existent.  Commercial pouches are either made for 30 rounders or are near 40 bucks a pop.    Ideally something to hold 4 to 6 mags, with a shoulder strap for 'grab and go'.

I think it may have to go single payer before next years elections - because there is going to be a backlash. Democrats can be pretty obtuse, but tens of millions of people are bound to notice a substantial increase in premiums and deductibles coupled with a substantial decrease in quality of healthcare. Not to mention the millions that are going to lose their current plans. The only prayer they have of accomplishing anything meaningful after next November is getting some form of amnesty passed, at least something that will allow illegals to vote - which would give them 15-20 million votes from the only demographic that is going to benefit from Obamacare. You can bet that any Dem that isn't from a deep, deep blue district will be making loud noises in the meantime, trying to cover their a**es.

Obama and Reed both said candidly that ACA was just a step toward the goal of single payer.  Getting rid of insurers is just dandy.

 I sold mags and ammo to a few who were caught short during the worst of it, and I didn't make a dime.  A local gunshop had decent prices on firearms, but the last time I walked into the place he was selling .223 for a dollar a round.  Won't be back to see if he's lowered his prices.   I understand supply and demand.  I also believe that shooters ought to watch out for each other as a community.  There are many that agree with me, apparently, and I will reserve my custom for them.

Let me know when they announce they're shipping free cases and mags to the folks they robbed.

Exactly, Frank.  The website problems are a blessing in disguise for O'care, because once the majority of the country realize they are going to spend between 50 and 350% MORE under O'care, there will be enthusiastic crowds following dem politicians.  With pitchforks and torches.

The FAT is an arsenal rebuild stamp.  FAT stamps can also be found on M1's.  Nothing to do with the importer, just means the rifle was arsenal rebuilt in 1950.  If there is an importer marking, it will be found on the barrel or receiver, possibly under the wood line.      Obviously not a WWII bringback, but there may still be no import markings.  That would make it a pre-68 import.

The (already high) premiums on the O'care site are wrong - actual premiums are higher   Existing plans are being canceled.  Replacement plans are costing hundreds more - and how about that $6000 deductible?   Millions are going to end up paying the fine/tax because they're unable to sign up.   Those that tried to delay this were called everything from bomb throwing terrorists to domestic enemies by the left.   Delay?  Absolutely not.  Let 'em have it - good and hard.  Elections coming up next year, the Democrat party really deserve to choke on the fruits of their labor.
