  2. I've been looking to buy a Dillon Dillon Square Deal 'B, but recently picked up a new caliber in .357 sig so I thought now I'll have to get the RL550B but I don't see .357 sig listed as available dies so now do I have to up to a XL650 just for this caliber? Any one know or have suggestions? Thanks!!! COOP
  3. That is way cool Jeff!! I cant wait to get a P238 and order some grips and a holster from SigPower!!! On a side not I picked up a P226 in .357 sig this week and what a gun!!! Very happy!!! My name it THE COOP and I like SIGS!!!!!

    My New Toy

I like your P229 and if the grips feel thick try some Hogue re-checkered factory Sig grips and they will really thin the grip out, I totally agree with the lubrication as Sig's like/need to be well lubed, all my Sig's get Slide Glide on the rails and run flawlessly with little to no ware.... 8. I also worked at Dell for 7 years until a few months ago when Dell sold our facility to a 3rd party vendor, (Lebanon) Dell uses many Asus products in there computers, I build my own desk top's and have used Asus MB's and never had a problem, I could have built a better computer cheaper but that's me. I think the OP will be happy with his new Asus and not to bad of a price!!!! COOP

  10. I would like to thank Joe and David for their effort on bringing a show like this to middle Tennessee, I've been to a show at-least once a month for the last 6 months and this show was a breath of fresh air, factory rep's, quality vendors, good food, a TGO VIP lounge and a gun show that allowed the public to carry there hand gun holstered and loaded, finally a Tennessee Gun Owner friendly show!!! Joe and David thanks for putting 200% into this show and letting me a part of this and I'll be volunteering again in March!!!! COOP

  12. Of your choices I would choose the Springfield XDc 9mm. I wouldnt suggest a Glock as your 1st carry gun but it is a fine pistol, I might have to disagree about the Sig though it was and still is my first carry gun and in double action mode it would be really hard to accidently pull the trigger IMHO. Good luck with your choices and I go to On Target about once a week to shoot so if you would like to shoot the Glock or a Sig your welcome to just shoot me a PM!!!! COOP
  13. I recently purchased a P226, West German 9mm. I thought my P6 and P228 were smooth shooters until I took the P226 to the range last weekend and WOW, the P226 has a very low recoil in 9mm!!! I assume because it's a full size alloy frame and almost feels under powered in 9mm to me. I'm thinking on trading it for a P226 in .357 Sig to utilize it's full potential. I've shot the P220 and like it and I still want one but for now I've gotten away from .45 cal due to the frustration on finding ammo in that caliber.. COOP
  14. Here's a couple of options for your Sig, if it feels a little chunky try the Hogue re checkered factory grips, I had them for my P229 and they really thin it out, you could also try a .357 barrel which you could find used from the Sig forums.... COOP
  15. #3, keep the Sig!!!! COOP
  16. StPatrick, 1st let me say that a P239 is a great choice and I still miss mine, I noticed you said you dont wear baggy clothes and I dont either and I tried a IWB holster and due to my pants fit the IWB was just to tight with all my pants so now I go OWB. I bought a Don Hume 721 open top for my P228 and I really like it, it also fits the P229R but a little tight and my P226 fits good, I tried my G19 and it fits also so I'm pretty happy all my guns fit the same holster for me!!! Glocks

I have to agree, my first Glock is a G19, my second Glock will be a Gen 4, 23 and I want to buy the .357 Sig barrel to drop into the G23. I hope to stop the Glock madness then!!! But the G21 LEO trade ins for $329 I seen last night on another sight in VG condition has me thinking!!!!!! Damn Glock's and Sig's, it's a love and hate relationship? Love to have them, hate to pay for them... COOP

  25. I'm a new Glock owner as well, it was sugested to me by a LEO armorer/trainer who is a member of this sight to add a Vickers mag release and some XS big dot sites which I did install and those were very good options I can also recommend. I've also installed a Wolf lighter rod spring but still undecided on it..... COOP
