I tend to give people the benifit of the doubt, a few years ago I thought about going in to Law enforcement but my Mom said that wasn't a good idea for me because I trust everyone and she was probably right. But GUT instincts play a big part of trust as well. the first time I met Volzfan I immediately felt like I could trust him even though we had a mutual friend, he is a good guy and offered to help me find a car for my daughter, instant trust. Another TGO member KANO, first time I met him gut instinct kicked in and absolutely trust him, I could go on and on with new friends I've met from TGO form gun sales to gun purchases and training, Daniel (G&L), Todd and Dustin (CIS), I only have a few TRUE friends and trust them with my life and they trust me the same.... Lebanon Gun shop, 102 Hartman Dr Lebanon, TN 37087 COOP
-
So I made an effort to go by a new gun shop in Lebanon yesterday on the way to work, it is just off Hartman Dr. and West Main, close to Burger king, I really like walking in to a store and being greeted no matter who you are and that happened at this gun shop, I played it quiet for a few minutes and just looked around by myself, then introduced myself to David who I prosume is the owner/manager, we talked a bit and I asked for a price on a new Dillion, he gave me a price and it is the lowest local price I've been quoted so I plan on buying it next week, David seemed very knowledgeable about reloading and since I'm new to reloading he gave me some great info. He also had some of the best prices on Glock's I've seen any where locally, he didnt have a really big selection but since he just opened and the grand opening is Tomorrow I expect that their inventory will get bigger. He had a good selection of holsters and reloading supply's. So to conclude my quick review I was very surprised and liked the shop and would reccomend it to all locals to go by and check it out, introduce yourself and let him know your a TGO member!!!! COOP

I think these are the same people but I could be wrong, I did see them last weekend at the Murfreesboro show and I've been to the Armory in Lebanon a few times and they seem like good people!!!! COOP

Collin is correct, the early (PRE 83) P6's do have feed ramp issues with JHP's, Customized Creations does a feed ramp modification and changes the feed ramp angle a bit, widens the ramp and polishes it. All my newer Sigs feed fine, if you want to polish the feed ramps DONT use a Dremel!!! You can use Flitz and a Qtip and polish the ramp by hand in the direction the bullet travels, up and down and NOT side to side. I use professional polishing equipment I have left over from another hobby to polish mine along with other internal and external parts. If your ever in my neighborhood PM me and you can come by and I'll do a quick polish job for you!!!! COOP

I also live in Lebanon and G&L is a great place to shoot, I go to On Target in Murfreesboro because it's closer, it's also a good place to shoot. I've been to the indoor range in Gallatin and wouldn't recommend it... COOP

Thanks all for the advise, I hope to buy a new G17 next month, practice for a month or so and go to a IDPA match soon after that so hope to meet some of you then!!!! COOP

I also agree, check your recoil spring by taking your magazine out, then verify your gun is unloaded, now double check that your gun is unloaded and let your slide close. Hold your Glock in your strong hand and with your weak hand push your slide back a couple inches and slowly let the slide back out, try this a couple of times to get a feel for it. Does it lock in to battery tight or does it seem a little weak right at the end before it locks? If it seems weak replace the recoil spring, if it locks tight and quickly start looking at your magazines and mag springs. Also have someone else shoot it to verify it's not the shooter. I know, but just saying? COOP

"I don't think they need a safety and could argue that an external safety just makes them more unsafe in that it could get the user shot as they're disengaging it... JMHO, but wish people could hold back their opinions about them until they've lived with one (goes for all guns w/o an external safety), Sigs don't have a safety either and don't get even near the bad rap Glocks do. The only real safety is between your ears" +100!!!! I own both, I carry both, I like both just the way they are. Now can we please move on from Glock's with a external safety!!!!!! COOP

I would recommend a Glock 19/23 with the proper IWB holster, if your looking for a bug gun size then the Sig P238.... COOP
