  1. I prefer American/European makers like SIG and that's why I have and carry them, think SIG P220 carry!!!!! COOP
  2. Great review, I'm on my 3rd RIA a full size tactical, my commander was perfect and never had a problem, sold it and I regret it. I then bought a full size GI model and traded up for the tactical I have now. I shoot this gun better than any other gun I have in including my Sig P220 ST or my Gen 4 G17? At the present time the RIA'S are the best bargain 1911's out there.. IMHO........... COOP
  3. Those are some great prices, thanks all... COOP
  4. Very nice!!! I really like the P-64 and I need to order me one!!! COOP
  5. Looking to buy 1000 bullets of 115 grain fmj for reloading, preferably locally and looking for the best value/price, who are you using and how much? Thanks!!! COOP
  6. I've already stated that I will not shop at business that I cant carry in when I have a HCP, and I think it's disrespectful of you to go off with the statement of "2nd amendment and honor crap" Once again this is my opinion!!!!!!!!! So give it a rest..... COOP
  7. I know Stones river is the same way and I expect that at a state ran range, I just don't like it when gun stores/indoor ranges post this for the reasons I posted earlier. IMO!!!! COOP
  8. It wouldn't surprise me if G&L gas the G23 gen 4, they get alot of guns very quickly when they come out due to the amount they sell, hey volume.... Just saying? COOP
  9. "An individual with a valid TN Handgun Carry Permit is not allowed to have their weapon loaded and on their person if entering the new Lebanon Shooting range and store? That statement is correct... COOP
  10. Probably heading to Stones river later today... COOP
  11. Hey, I remember and it was Todd who talked me into the G19 which I did buy a 3rd gen but tradded it off a few weeks ago, but I need to replace it and I've thought about the gen 4 23 but was shooting my buddies gen 3 G23 and I couldn't control it as well as the G19. I have the Gen 4 G17 and it's a great gun and I plan on using for IDPA but already miss the size of the G19. Let me know how the gen 4 G23 feels, recoil wise compared to G19. Maybe I'll go that route.... Thanks.... COOP
  12. I want a new reviews from locals who have this gun and shot it as I plan on buying one soon with my GSSF coupon or my Glock armorers program.... COOP
  13. This is why I don't shop there, I do shop and shoot at Guns and Leather, On Target, I also shop at the Lebanon Gun Store and the Armory, I plan on shopping at Hero gear soon, but I will not shoot or shop at any gun shop/range where I cant carry and I'm expected to leave my EDC in the car or a case to shop there!!!!!! This is my opinion and not yours and there are fine supporters of this web site who allow you to carry in there gun shop/range and have great prices that are cheaper than the the Gun Room. I will be sending an email to the owners that if they want my business they need to change there policies. There are also behind the scenes politics going on here that I knew about months before they opened when they told the other gun shops in Lebanon that they would not be selling guns at the range and now they are? Does Honor mean anything to anybody any more? Does a mans word mean anything anymore? Does the 2nd amendment mean anything anymore? It does to me!!!! Guns and leather is cheaper and great employees, On target is cheaper and a great owner. The owner of The Lebanon Gun shop is one of the most honorable people I know and has a vast amout of knowledge of hand guns and long distant shooting so if you have a spare minutes go by there and talk to him about sniper school and reloading.... David Wilson is a great guy and a friend.... COOP
  14. Since I traded my trusty Glock 19 for my new Sig I want and had been planning to get a G19 gen 4, and I'm curious who has shot one and what they thought about the recoil compared to the gen 3 with the new recoil spring setup? Does it feel like a major recoil reduction or just a little bit? You all know I love my Sigs but I'll admit that my gen 3 G19 was one of the finest carry guns I ever owned however I didnt like the grip and didnt want to stipple the entire frame. I have a G17 gen 4 that I bought for IDPA but my arm hasnt healed enough to be competing in IDPA and will need surgery later this year so maybe next year I'll start competing. Just looking for real world feedback on the Glock 19 gen 4!!!! Thanks all!!!! COOP
  15. Yes it is The Gun Room on Briskin Ln. COOP
  16. OK guys, I'll tell you where it is after I explain a few things, 1. to me going to a gun store/range that doesn't allow a HCP owner to carry inside is like going to a restaurant with a no firearms sign posted. I wont go there and instead I'd go somewhere else where I can carry and I have the right to protect myself and family while we eat if something bad happens. 2. I buy my weapons and shoot indoors at places who are TGO vendors to support them and this web site. I did ask why he had the sign posted and I got 2 replies, he said that the being so close to the highway the TBI said his store/range was a great location to be robbed for a easy getaway, also he said he didn't want new shooters to be intimidated if they came in by a bunch of guys wearing their guns on there side in the store. UMMM, GUN STORE!!!!!!!!! He used an example of a wife and husband couple coming in for the 1st time and the wife being intimidated. He also told me he had never carried a hand gun before opening the store but had a big shinny chrome hand gun on his side. there was also a few local LEO'S all wearing their hand guns. If you want to shoot indoors I would suggest On Target in Murfreesboro and Guns and Leather in Greenbrier. The range is located on Briskin Ln. in Lebanon. If your heading east on I-40 from Nashville take the I-70 exit towards Lebanon which is the 2nd exit then left about a 1/2 mile onto Briskin Ln. and it's about 1/2 mile down on the RH side, this is a industrial area but it's easy to find, feel free to talk to the owner about the sign on the door!!!!!! 17. There is a new range in Lebanon that just opened last week (sorry dont know the name), I stopped by there today to take a look at it and it's nice and brand new but I have a problem with this range/gunshop. There is a sign on the door that says no loaded firearms aloud. I personally have a problem with that statement that if I have a HCP and I'm not allowed to carry in this range/gunstore I will NOT be doing bussiness there. With so many TGO vendors who allow carry into there store and range I'll go to them first. I discussed my view's with who I beileve was the owner and he explained why he has that posted and I disagree with him, so I said a polite good by and left. Dont mean to hijack your thread but I was going to post this tonight anyways!!!!! COOP
  18. Thanks, I thought you would like it!!!!! I know you have a couple sweet Sig's too... COOP

    Short List

My short list. Sig P238 HD. Glock 19, Gen 4. Remington 700 LTR .308. S&W AR-15 22. And then I'm done!!!!! P.S. A revolver!!! Never had one!!! And then I'm done? COOP
  20. Thanks all, I like my Glocks, I like my RIA 1911, I like my AR-15's but I love my SIG'S!!!! LOL...... COOP
  21. Well I made the best trade last week I have ever made, I seen one of the guns on my "LIST" that I been wanting for a long time, a P220 ST on another site and the seller was looking to trade so my Glock 19 was traded with a little to boot on my side for this P220 Stainless. It came with Hogue wrap around grip that I didnt like so I ordered a couple sets of Sig factory SLIM grip panels and did some custom stippling to them and I really like the agressive feel. Next will be some Truglo TFO sites. So here she is for all you Sig fans!!!! COOP
  22. I'm on my 3rd RIA, a full size tactical and it's the best shooter I own. Every time me and my buddies go the the range we pass around my RIA and all of us shoot it better than anything else. One of my 1st gun was the RIA commander sized and I sold it and now wish I hadn't, I'm trying to learn from my mistakes!!!! COOP
  23. I had a chance to handle them a few weeks ago and they are by far the best hand guards I FELT AND THEY WILL BE GOING ON MY AR VERY SOON! COOP

    Off-Road 4x4

Jeep Cherokee's and Grand Cherokees are great off road vehicles and with a few mods can be great off road vehicles, not as pretty as TGO Davids new TOY but I'm a laid off a JEEP worker from many years ago and I like them... COOP
  25. And if someone is heading down to stones river anytime soon let me know, I'd like to put a few rounds through one, we could swap and you could try out my GEN 4 Glock 17 I got a few weeks ago. A friend and myself plan on going there tomorrow some time in the afternoon...... COOP
