  1. I like all 3 of the commercials but the third one is the best IMO, something about simulators people like and I'm one of them!!! Cant wait for the Guns and Gear Expo!!!!! COOP
  2. I was at G&L yesterday and Daniel told me they've already sold a few G19 gen 4's but didnt have in stock, does anybody on here on TGO have a new gen 4? And if so can you post some pictures of it? I joined GSSF and got my 2007/2009 coupon that I think is only good till the end of next month so I'm thinking about buying another Glock. POST PICS!!!! Thanks.... COOP
  3. I have a couple frames I'd like to get done and I'm considering CCR, I do have concerns how durable the finish is for a EDC gun, will it show holster ware eventually and how long does the finish last? I've also considered Customized Creationz. they do CeraKote finishes. Anyone care to chime in with information on CeraKote vs CeraHide finishes? COOP

  6. Polishing is a slow process for me, a very fine wire wheel, 3M rambright wheel on a die grinder, very fine sand paper, and to the polishing wheel with green and tan rough for a few hours, I've done a lot of polishing on 4wheeler motors but I'm no expert, I just do the best I can.... COOP

    Glocks

Glock 19, and then maybe the 23???? COOP
  8. Volzfan, shoot me a PM when you want to get your XD done and the next time you and your cousin go shooting let me know, I want you both to see the P228 and give her a try to get your opinions.... COOP
  9. The German P228's are one of the best 9mm's ever produced IMO!!!! I liked my P229R Elite, my P245, my P239 but I love my German P228 and P6. My G19 is slowly growing on me but I have some sort of plastic gun mental block? COOP
  10. I like it too, very nice and there's just something I like about stainless colored guns... COOP
  11. Daniel, your killin me and always busting my B***S, it's ok I still luv u man... COOP
  12. Well with all the Sig threads I thought I'd go ahead and post my work in progress, this is my P228 9mm, it's a Swiss police trade in I bought from TG a few months ago, this was the GOOD quality rating, it has been 100% reliable and I used it at the CIS Defensive pistol class and put close to 1K rounds through it, I shoot it better than any other gun I own but it was really dog ugly from the holster ware, it is a 20 year old gun with the date code KA. It has the Swiss police emblem etched into the side of the slide just behind the Sig Sauer name. So here are some pictures of before and after I started polishing the slide and the controls, TGO david was kind enough to install some XS Big Dits on it last weekend that I bought from Todd with CIS, thanks again both of you. Heres the before pics!!!! And here's the after pictures!!! As I stated this is still a work in progress, this weekend I will perform a (fluff & buff) to the trigger action and I'm waiting for a spring kit to replace all the springs and some new grips. I know some Sig traditionalists will balk at a 2 tone or a polished Sig but I like it and that's all that really matters. LOL!!! COOP
  13. Always a good story when it starts (Sig came home) I'm curios how it shoots also, I had the SRT on my P229 Elite but thought my 20 year old P228 still had a better trigger. IMO I've been working on the P228 all week and I guess I need to start a thread about it and plan on doing a fluff and buff this weekend on it. I really want a P220, P226, P239, P238.... LOL... So many Sigs, so little money... COOP
  14. And post some pictures, some of us may want to see it... COOP

    Sig P239

One of my favorite Sigs, looks great, shoots great and 100% reliable. The P239's are known to wear a little on the frame/slide rails so get some good lube like the Brian Eno's slide glide which is what I used on my P239 and all my Sigs and my DW PM7!!!! COOP
  19. I'll volunteer for one of the days, no need to be paid!!!! COOP

    Sig SP2022

Congratulations on another Sig purchase (you can never have 2 many sigs).... LOL. I seen that your P226 is for sale and if I had the money I'd work you a deal but I'm consolidation calibers to 9mm and .45. I keep looking at those LEO P226's that are for sale for $450 and that's closer to my price range!!! Keep in touch... COOP
  21. Hello and welcome!!! COOP
  22. The P238 is my next gun and I cant wait to get it, unless one of those P226 police trade in's finds it way to my local FFL????? Congratulations on the new purchases and post more pictures and range reports..... COOP
  23. I went, I bought and I shot with Kano for a while, Thanks Daniel and the gang at G&L for all the great prices from past and present!!!! COOP
  24. Hey Boll, thats a good point about Kano, my goal is too shoot as good as Kano. We need another G&L meet and shoot so we can all get some more lessons for the master....... Kano, I'll be at G&L on Friday to buy a new gun wanna meet and do some target practice/lessons? COOP
  25. Very nice and it's hard to go wrong with the gang at G&L. I really like my Dan Wesson PM7 even though it's a more of a lower end, it still has a great fit and it's a great shooter, really like your new Valor!!!! COOP
