You're a long way from me or I would offer to let you use my Pelican case.  I can put 4 pistols, each with 2 mags and enough ammo to do what you need.  It actually wasn't that expensive and it is indestructible.  Well worth the money and I like having some comfort that it isn't in a regular suitcase.  I got some of the heavy TSA locks.  In the end, they have to have TSA locks so they can get in them, but I have never had them open my case after checking them in.      Link to the case I have if you're interested. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000DYV9H/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1   I can take a picture and show you how I have mine setup if you're interested.  For the three guns you mentioned, you could even go smaller, but it's nice to have the room if you need it.  This one isn't so big that it can't be handled easily.
  2. Unless someone's chasing me, I don't see a need to run.  Actually I find it completely boring.  I need to be doing something, but can't bring myself to run.  I would love to get a group of guys together to play basketball or something to get some cardio without the monotony.  I know some people love it, but I have just never enjoyed it.

You aren't bound by what can be sold there (other than no AR's), but you are bound by the 10 round mag limit.  Just put them in a hardcase and lock everything up and when you cross the Nevada line, you should be good to go concealed.  You can put everything in the same locked case, but don't load the mags.  Declare them with the airline and you shouldn't have any issue.
  4. I would agree.  Not a fan of Memphis (or dry) barbecue in general.
  5. This is Kennedy, Weimaraner. He turned 10 in March.
  6. I have had Comcast Internet since I moved into my house about 4 years ago and had to go through the same games every 6 months or so.  I had DirectTV and really preferred DirectTV's service for the TV side, but Comcast finally came to me with a special offer I couldn't refuse.   I now have the X1 Service, whole house DVR, HBO, and 100MB internet for $99.99/month guaranteed for two years.  I don't like the guide interface as well on X1 as I did on DirectTV, but it isn't a big deal.  The voice commands via my Iphone is kind of cool.   Since I could lock it in for two years it made sense and I didn't have to worry about the ever creeping up prices.
  7.  You mean "First Starbucks" wasn't clear?  I'm shocked!  :stunned:
  8. To be fair, Starbucks didn't say guns weren't allowed, they just preferred that you don't open carry.
  9. As usual, my eyes closed, making who knows what face, graces yet another picture.
  10. There is a market and it varies widely.  If you know for sure it is all once fired only (most desirable), then it comes down to how much you have and if it has been processed (cleaned , deprimed, etc) at all.  If it is just dirty brass, there is still a market, but it won't bring a whole lot.  How much are we talking about?
  11. Got home about an hour ago.  Was a good ride and nice to meetup with some of the other TGOr's.  A little cool down around Lynchburg, but still a nice ride.
  12. See you there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. A bit chilly here right now, but the sun is out. See everyone in a bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I don't blame you.  Around here I think it will all be gone very early, like before 8AM.  They show a 50% chance in the morning around Lynchburg, but sun by the afternoon.  I hope they are right.
  15. Just pull the chip loader tray out about an inch. You don't need to remove the chip pan. Also make sure the vent in top is open so there is airflow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I haven't kept up exactly, but it seems we could have 5 or 6.
  17. I personally find that a tablet just wasn't useful for me.  It's ok for surfing or reading, but even then, using a keyboard on the screen was pain in my opinion.  I gave mine to my parents to play games on and stuck with my Macbook Pro 13" for general surfing and such.   I recently thought I would give another regular tablet a chance and bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.  I ended up taking it back in two days as I realized again why I didn't find a tablet very useful.   I am considering getting a Surface Pro 2 tablet since it acts more like a real computer with a keyboard and I can make more use of it to edit docs easily and such.  In the end, I think it really depends on what you want to use it for.  Yes, you can add a keyboard to an Ipad, but even then the functionality just wasn't that useful for me.   I would recommend getting a Galaxy tab at Costco and  trying it first.  At least there you can take it back if you find you don't like it.  It works a bit different from a Ipad, but they are similar enough I think you will know right away if either would be beneficial for you.   Small edit:  I am not saying a tablet isn't useful.  The size is certainly nice and it has its uses, just have a good idea of what type of work you want to do with it.
  18. I did a ton of research and bought everything to put mine in, I just haven't had the time to actually install it yet.  Not sure how many cameras you need, but more info about what I went with is in this thread.   http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/76433-bit-the-bullet-on-a-video-surveillance-system/   I looked at all kinds of video from different systems before purchasing this.  I may actually have some time soon to start installing.  I will put up some video when I get it setup.  Actually thank you for asking about this as it has now given me the push to get this done.
  19. Yep, have to have the chip tray cracked. I usually only need yo have mine out no more than an inch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Please be sure to check the pounds and rescue's.  I understand wanting a full bred dog, but I can tell you there is no better feeling that saving one from the pound.  There are full bred dogs at most of them.  If you are really set on a GSP (great dog so no issue with that) you may also check some rescues.   http://www.segsprescue.org/
  21. The weather is looking really good for Sunday, so I hope it stays that way.   Looking forward to meeting up with everyone.     If you aren't going to ride from Franklin or meet at the Bell Buckle Cafe for lunch and are only going to go to Lynchburg, let's plan to meet at the square in Lynchburg at 2:00 in front of the Harley store.  Everyone should be able to find that easy enough.   We can figure out where to go have a drink or eat for those that didn't eat before.   For those meeting in Franklin, I'll see you at 10:00.   My number is 615 Six One 8 Seven 3 Nine 3 if anyone has any issues on Sunday.   Jamie
  22. If I recall correctly, Pancake was a guy.  No idea why I remembered that.  I think I need to get out more often....
  23. We are meeting at 12:00 at the Bell Buckle Cafe for lunch.  We will then take a ride down to Lynchburg to meet up with a few others for a bit and then head home from there.   Some of us are leaving Franklin at 10:00AM, but I don't think you would want to come to Franklin and then back to Bell Buckle, but it is up to you.
  24.   Good thing were doing it on the 18th
  25. Yep, were still on.  30% chance of rain right now so maybe it will go down a bit by Sunday.     We never did decide where to meet in Lynchburg after having lunch in Bell Buckle.  Anyone got any ideas?  I don't think everyone was going to go to Bell Buckle.
