Form 1 & Form 4 back in 4 months.
Hozzie replied to Hozzie's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
The e-file system certainly needed to be improved and it was frustrating to use, but if you had a little patience, it did at least work enough to save a lot of people a lot of time. I am guessing as frustrating as it was for us as users, it was probably a difficult system for them to keep running on the backend. I think I have about all the class III items I need at this point, but I hope for the rest of you that the system gets back up and running. It at least makes the way reasonable considering our ignorant laws on the issue. -
You have to get an adaptor. The GSG and the Sig 1911-22 are the same except for the slide and some markings. My Sig 1911-22 is my go to suppressor host for my 22 can. The GSG for $200 is a no brainer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wouldn't have anything but a Deere. Had them my whole life and have never had a major issue. I also do all maintenance myself. I guess it depends on how you grew up. As with anything, service from dealer to dealer can be much different. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am out if town right now, but next weekend will see some action. Looking forward to trying 5.56 to see how well the 308 suppressor works. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I e-filed for my SBR on Feb 2nd and a new Suppressor around March 1st. Got them both back today. Not too darn bad, especially compared to my 11 month wait on my first two before you could efile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for sharing. I have my own modem, but it makes more sense now why they were pushing me to use theirs even outside of the $7 they want to charge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Texas open-carry gun groups threaten to leave NRA
Hozzie replied to The Legion's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I may actually write the NRA and say I am disappointed they backtracked. This actually has me thinking of not giving them another dime and I am an endowment member. This does not help anyone and in fact just alienates more people like myself. Discretion is the better part of valor. Edit: I did send them an email and submitted a response the the NRA-ILA website. We'll see what they have to say for themselves. I bet I don't hear a word back. -

That would be the best thing that could happen for the NRA. I would say "don't let the door hit you in the ass!". Act like idiots and people will treat you like idiots. -

Got made at a wedding this past weekend...
Hozzie replied to hlb14's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
It was concealed, so I lean toward dick move especially if he works at a gun store. Unless you were drinking, then I would probably bring it up as well. Otherwise, it doesn't get a second thought. I am guessing he was just trying to impress someone with his eagle eyes. -
I use the battery tender plus. I like it because I know it will not overcharge it. http://smile.amazon.com/Battery-Tender-021-0128-Plus-Charger/dp/B00068XCQU/ or you can charge it to start with your current battery charger at its lowest amp setting and go with the Battery Tender Jr. for keeping it topped off.

Can you give us some pictures? May have some ideas if I can see it.

Another Golden fan here. I had to put mine down about 4 years ago now, but I still miss her. Best and smartest dog I have ever had. She loved the water and to ride on the seadoo.

I don't have the laws in front of me, but I will have respectfully disagree. I believe the intent if the law is clear regarding interstate sales between owners even if the buyer is in his home state. I certainly wouldn't want to be the case study. I am sure there are examples of this out there that have not ended well for the buyer. I could be absolutely wrong too, but I bet if you ask ATF they would say don't do it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes they are committing a crime. If you knowingly purchase a firearm from someone who can't sell it to you, it's a crime. Pretty cut and dry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good call. The other option if you really wanted them was to have him follow you to a dealer and have them do a transfer while he is standing there.

I don't think it is that bad. Depends what you need to do with it. I will be considering one when I can get my hands on one to take a look at. It will be that or the Lenovo.

I was thinking the exact same thing watching the news tonight. The real problem is that I don't think there is any way to fix it. The people doing this have no issue with just randomly shooting at people and know they will probably be shot themselves at some point. It's too late to educate most of these morons. All you can do is hope that they stick to killing more morons and leave the innocent people out of it.

Something had to be done. They aren't that shiny from the factory. Could just be a good polish of scratchX. It does a wonder on those sticks if you do it a couple of times. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

CZ's are one of the best value rifles made in my opinion. As accurate out of the box as almost any 22, but better quality, fit, and finish. The 452's and 455's don't have the set trigger as described above, but they are still some of my favorite 22's. The 452 Trainer was no more than $350 new and the 455 American was probably around $425 unless they just paid way too much. Rather than me going into everything about them, it's easier to just link you to the biggest forum on the web that discusses them. If you don't find it in RimFireCentral under the CZ forum, you won't find it. If they are in good condition and for the right price you can't go wrong. http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=7dcf943d0adbef2715587d6ba3f5a2a8&f=18

Good to know. For some reason I had in my mind they had to be tsa locks. Never had an issue before, but I agree if you can get by without them, even better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
