In this case, even though I would agree it may be forced, I think it almost makes it even better. As liberal as Hollywood is, it is nice to know that there are some who want make it blatantly obvious that they not only disagree with the libbies, but also make it a point to use their position to be in your face about it. You can bet that a lot of people around the White House aren't happy that a very popular show is so anti-Obama.

I had to bring this back up. If you don't watch this, it is on now. Tim Allen is starting back where he left off. There have been no more than 3 major Obama/Biden digs in the first 10 minutes of the show. It is a pretty darn funny show if you haven't watched it before.

Pretty impressive. I would have been worn out after just the row out there.

It may be ok for those at a closer range, but I don't think it is going to pull them in from far. Although most predators do have very good hearing. I have a Foxpro Hellfire that works very well, but is also pretty expensive. You may be able to pair or hook up your phone to some of those battery powered external speakers for a bit more sound. I would say it's more egocentric behavior than narcissistic, but that isn't the main point. I certainly curse more than I probably should or need to in my personal life, but professionally I keep it to a minimum. For me, this is less about the cursing and points to a much bigger problem and that is respect for other people in general. This is just one of many situations of disrespect out there today. In general though, I am more annoyed by unruly kids than I am cursing.

I would be watching for a used CZ 75.

That car wash scene was pure magic. Disturbing, but hilarious.

I would suggest that if your friend wants to keep any type of decent relationship with his neighbors that you don't hunt deer in a subdivision. There are easy ways to deter deer from eating his flowers. an acre is very little area, bow or not. My advice, stick to the woods if you want to deer hunt. I go back to, just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you should. This is a very bad idea in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Big difference Bersa. Those are private organizations, not public/government run and funded organizations.

I haven't been offended one bit, so no worries on that front. I actually agree with most of what you have said in regards to having a civil discussion without threats or calling names (unless they are used in the right context :pleased: ). There is no need for any of that. While you may ask what harm it does, the point is it doesn't have to do harm. That's not the standard. I don't believe that it makes the world any better either, but that's just my opinion. I don't agree with JayC about firing the principal though and the thought of putting him in jail for life is laughable. Was what the guy did wrong, yes. Is it worth losing his job, maybe depending on how it went down. We all make mistakes and do things we think were right at the time, but may have a different view later on. Hopefully he learns from this and realizes to keep his faith personal while acting as principal. If he can't do that, then yes he should be fired. I suspect he is a good citizen and we don't need to take productive members of society and put them in jail for a single mistake. If that is the standard, we will all be in jail.

I got a kick out of this response. It goes back to my third post. It is the extremists on both sides that are the problem. I will take this one by one speaking for myself as an Atheist. I think most of us are open to discussing religion. You seem to throw everyone into the same bucket of extremism and that's not the case. Just like I don't consider every Muslim to believe in death to all who don't praise Allah, every Atheist doesn't believe you don't have rights. I am curious how this in any way infringes on your rights. You can pray anytime you want before, during, or after any game. Oh, you want it to be a formal prayer scheduled as part of the festivities so you can feel good about it? Got it. Pray, no one is stopping you but yourself. I am not afraid of anything from a religion perspective. Spiders yes, God, no. I may find out one day I was wrong (or not), and if I do, I will own my decision. I am comfortable in how I live my life as you should be in yours. I have no desire to tell you how to live your life. No one is trying to control your heart or mind, give me a break. They simply ask that you do what you believe in from a religious perspective without it having to be formally thrust upon them, which could also be considered trying to control their heart and mind by them. Again, sit in your seat and pray. I bet not one person says a word to you. We can certainly agree on this. People (all people) need to relax a little.

I think this issue can in some ways be compared to extremism in other areas of life where religion is involved. It is typically a very, very small minority of any religion or in this case, non-religious, that create the bigger issue. As I mentioned, I am Atheist, but I don't have any issue with someone or even a group of people wanting to pray at some point before or even during a game. The distinct difference comes when a "Prayer" is part of the formal 'schedule/agenda' of a school/government sanctioned event. If someone wants to pray to whomever they choose during the course of any event, so be it. In this example, if a cheerleader or cheerleaders (or anyone else) wants to say a prayer, you are free to do it whenever you would like. If a game starts at 7pm, I am sure there are plenty of opportunities where someone can choose to pray before a game if they wish without it having to be 'scheduled' or made a big point of. The extremists on the religious side feel that if they can't "schedule" a formal prayer before an event then somehow that is preventing them from praying and others should just shut it and be quiet. For me, this is also wrong. Where I will agree with those who are religious is that there are those atheist/non-religous 'extremist's' who will bitch and moan if they even see someone they think is praying and somehow that it affects them. I agree, these people need to get a life. In the end, say a prayer or don't, but it shouldn't be a formal agenda item in my opinion. If you are religious, it shouldn't be about formal recognition, it should be about belief. Apparently many believe the only way they can show that is to be "seen" praying. I could say a thousand prayers at a game without anyone knowing and if I believe what I am saying, that should mean more that someone watching me pray.

I should add, I am not saying you are a hypocrite as I don't know you. What I am saying is in most of these cases, if it was the other way around, I bet a huge majority would be complaining about it, publicly or privately. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As long as you don't care if a bunch of Muslims pray to Allah before the game while everyone else waits as well, I am cool with it. I also am not religious. In fact, I am pretty anti-religion, but as long as everyone can do it equally, then no issue for me. I don't personally believe that any religion has any place in public/government events, but it also doesn't bother me if someone wants to pray before a game. I think where most of us non-believers get tickled is when the hypocrisy is so I obvious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So sorry to hear this David. We discussed our dogs many times when we met and I know Rocco was like a child to you. Remember the good times and keep in mind the great life you gave him.

I have been considering getting an aquarium for a long time and this may push me a bit more in that direction. I had a terrarium at one point, but think I would like to go for just fish. Debating salt or fresh water. i know salt is much more expensive in general and a bit harder to take care of, but if I buy the proper equipment up front, just how much harder is it? I have room for a pretty big tank, but will probably try to stick with something around 100-125 gallons. Is buying the tank itself from somewhere like Craigslist ok or is going new better.

Still a bad idea. This is a night with a bunch of young kids out and about. Why would you even want to bring that kind of attention to yourself? My advice. Dress up as whatever you want, but leave the gun, real or fake, at home. Don't be that guy that thinks it cool or funny, it isn't. All you will do is bring negative attention to the gun debate. We have enough idiots working against us, don't be one of them. If you had an hcp I would say conceal carry if you want to, but don't OC in that situation. I am not against OC, but in this case, it makes no sense.
-
Dumb idea either way, especially if you plan to be in public. Even with an airsoft, you are going to bring all kinds of unwanted attention to yourself. I don't care what day of the year it is, if you look like you are in waiting for the Vietcong in some goofed up outfit and a gun visible (real or not), you will probably be on the wrong end of a bad result. Really, this is a very bad idea.

Starbucks didn't ban firearms and I don't believe Target did either. They made a statement that they requested you don't bring in firearms, but that was just to appease the morons. If you conceal carry, go about your business and you are fine.

Saw this on the Channel 4 website. This is pretty darn funny. I would be afraid of someone shooting my dog here, but still funny. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoB8t0B4jx4

I will be a maybe. I am out of the country the next couple of weeks and may have to go back pretty quick. When it gets closer, I will have a better idea.

All good advice here. I second the Holocaust Museum. I have been to the Spy Museum a couple of times and it is pretty interesting. I wouldn't miss any of the monuments for it, but if you happen to be near it, it's worth a visit. Also, if you're kids are old enough, a great way to see the city is via a Segway. My mom (62) and another friend did one and it was great. You don't go in anywhere, but it is a great way to get a lay of land so to speak and you get some history about each place along the way.

Arizona non-resident conceal permit
Hozzie replied to Titansfan's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
There are a lot of other state's permits (even out of state) that are good in our state, but not if you are a TN resident. If you are a TN resident, you must get a TN HCP within 6 months of becoming a resident. Not sure all of the other surrounding states you are referring to, but your TN HCP is most likely good in those States as well. FL has a similar out of state permit to AZ. -
I don't disagree with anything you said. Part of the problem is people don't take the time to evaluate the situation. I would argue that there are greater threats easily visible on most days outside of Leonard even when he is commando'd up like an idiot. People just miss the less obvious threats for the "perceived" threats.
