  1. I am in for my first ProTech.  Regular blade for me, number doesn't matter.  Payment already sent.   I will PM you my address info.
  2. If you never think you will need to carry something taller than a camper shell, then I think they are great.  The real downside to them is it is kind of a pain to take them on and off if needed.  I really considered one, but in the end went with something I knew I could take off by myself very quickly if needed.
  3.   If those people want to, Yes, absolutely.      Should people with kids at home own guns?  Should people with kids at home own pools?   Answer, If those people want to, Yes, absolutely.     The government shouldn't be in either discussion.  Because there is a risk of something happening in either scenario, it shouldn't make one bit of difference.  People should be free to make decisions for themselves.  If bad things happen and circumstances show there was negligence, then take appropriate action.  If you don't like Pits, don't get one.  I am not a Pit owner and will probably never have a Pit, but I am a dog lover and there are certainly the right types of owners for all dogs.
  4. If you can afford it, Rollnlocks are hard to beat.   There are pros and cons to each type of tonneau.  I went through a big pro/con list and I ended up getting a TonnoPro.  For the money ($278), it has worked even better than I expected.  I rarely go with the cheapest product, but in this case, it does exactly what I need it to do.  Pro's for it are it is light, easy to install, seals well, has been durable, and can be taken off by myself if needed in a couple of minutes.  Con's, it doesn't flip completely up out of the way and it doesn't lock although I can lock my tailgate with it closed.  That of course won't stop someone from just ripping it and taking what they want if they desire.  You essentially end up with about 2/3rds of an open truck bed when it is folded back and snapped in.  Because it comes off easy, this wasn't an issue for me.  When I need the whole bed (as you mention for an ATV), then I just take it off and set it aside.   I have also had the Backflip on another truck.  It was nice, and it flips completely open, but I didn't like that you then can't see out of the back window.  I think that was about $800 for my previous Titan.   A hard tonneau for me looks nice, but isn't practical if you actually want or need to use your bed.   The Rollnlock is nice because it takes up very little room (something like 12") at the front of the bed and it locks open at any position.  It is also very secure.  In the end, it wasn't worth an extra $1000 to me for what I was doing.
  5.   This.  For a general off the shelf gun, CZ's feel the best for me.   I have a pretty expensive race gun and 1911 and the CZ still wins in pure grip comfort.
  6. I just have one Weimi. I can just imagine what it is like with 3. Sorry for you loss as well. Mine turns 11 this March so I know the time is coming in the next couple of years. It's always tough.
  7. I agree, it was not very good. There were more than 2 vendors selling guns, but it still wasn't good. There was a guy selling some type of Pillow if that tells you anything. I don't know why this one has such a hard time drawing decent vendors. There were some guns walking around, but no steals that I could see. I did end up trading the Savage 22 I had for this Davidson's version 10/22 with Hogue stock and TacSol Aluminum threaded barrel. This thing is light, perfect for my suppressor. Since it took me literally less than 5 minutes to get there door to door, I can't complain.
  8. I don't expect it to be good, but it is only a mile from my house so I will be going.  Now that the bridge is open, it will be a lot easier to get to and from.
  9.   I agree, I am ok with $15 a piece to get him a lifetime.  I thought that was the plan.
  10. Btq, if you want to send me your PayPal address in a PM, I will send you some money for the membership. I didn't do well, but enjoyed it.
  11. The short answer is No, you would not be legal in TN. You will have to take the class in TN and pay the fee here.
  12. Glad it didn't turn into a big debacle for you.     I had something similar happen a few years ago.  Some buddies and I were headed to Jackson Wyoming on a ski/snowmobile trip.  I took a backpack with me and went through security in Nashville.  Upon my arrival at the hotel in Jackson I was unpacking a few things and there was a 50 count box of 22lr in one of the inside pockets.  I didn't remember even using that backpack for a range trip or anything.  I am guessing since they weren't in a magazine it wasn't as obvious what it was, but it was a bit of a "oh crap" moment.  It also makes me wonder what else makes it through.
  13. I didn't see any yotes, but saw 3 small does.
  14. I decided to take my caller out to try to call in a Coyote. Not sure how it will go, but is good to be out in the field.
  15. Yep, I am sure I needed something at Home Depot before I saw this.
  16. Happy Holidays. Everyone have a safe Christmas on and off the roads.
  17. I use RIG on any gun that is going to sit for a while.  I actually use on on any gun I touch.  Keep a RIG rag handy and when putting your guns away, just wipe them down.  It takes very little, if it feels greasy, you have put too much.  Use a shaving brush to get in crevices and such (trigger guards, around sights, scopes, bases, bolts, etc and put a little on a patch and run it down the barrel after you clean it.  You will never have an issue with rust assuming your watching your humidity even the slightest.
  18. Nice short movie.  I like most methods of true hunting, but I agree that I get the most satisfaction out of Bowhunting.  I just started back after a 15 year hiatus this last year.  It didn't take me long to get hooked again.
  19. Interesting.  I would also cut a finger off, but pretty neat.
  20. As a Chicago fan, I can only hope the Titans trade for Cutler.   I really gave him a lot of leeway, but it's just impossible to support him anymore.
  21. I was thinking metal soda pop tops for medals.
  22. Great idea. I will have to start another thread for ideas. I think this could be the start of something!
  23.   I actually had this in mind, lots of options.  I am a bit of a jokester by nature, so some funny videos with some real life practical reviews and or products could be an interesting concept.
  24.   Absolutely.  I even started a YouTube Channel named FatManTactical to have it just in case.  I think it would be hilarious.
