  1. Mine has an actual grease zirc.  I would use any good quality grease lightly.  Oil will work, but it won't last as long.
  2. Yeah, that would be a heck of a commute.
  3. Does anyone in the greater Williamson County area have a housekeeper whom they really like (and trust) that may be looking for additional work.  I want to start getting my house cleaned every two weeks, but I do not want to use one of the regular services like Molly Maid.  I want someone who I can get to know and trust and it is the same person every time.  My friend has a lady who is great, but Franklin is just too far for her.    I will be home when she cleans as I work out of my house, but there may be times I am not and I don't want to have to worry about things.   If anyone has a recommendation or referral, I would be very appreciative (and there will be a dinner and/or beer finders fee  )   Thanks.
  4. Dolo, while I agree with you in theory, it is apples and oranges in my opinion.  If we simply take it from when a person is born (I will leave abortion out of this for now), most would agree that simply existing is an inalienable human right.  Taking it to consequences for actions is a whole different area.  They don't just kill people to kill people.
  5. Dave, while I like the phrase inalienable human right much better, I must say that having or carrying a gun doesn't fall under that for me.  About the only thing I would consider an absolute inalienable human right is the right to life.  In our country, we certainly have some more that could probably be considered an inalienable human right, but in many parts of the world, even the right to life isn't guaranteed.
  6. Can we get off of the God gave me rights crap.  No he didn't, you were born in America where your rights are what the constitution and the laws say they are.  Just who's God is dealing out these rights?  If you had been born in France, your rights would be completely different, not because someone there may have a different God, but because they have different rights as defined by the country.   I love how when people don't like things they immediately go to, I have a God given right.  BS, you live in America.  Your rights are solely defined by what the country says they are.  We can debate all we want about what the constitution says is allowed and what our government process (i.e courts) interprets as your rights.  I am not saying you have to even live by them, but you may have to defend your actions that confict with those interpreted rights in court and lose even more.  Yours or any other God isn't protecting you from that no matter how much you say it.  In that case, it isn't a right, it's a fairy tale.
  7. I am not sure I would go down that road personally, but I also don't have the machining skills to pull it off.  Even if I did, I would always be second guessing myself if it was safe and would probably never be real comfortable with the gun.   I would probably look for a used Tikka T3 Lite.  Accuracy is superb and compared to the Axis, it weighs over 8oz less in a 308.  Not sure what caliber you are using, but instead of potentially ruining a gun, it is an option.
  8.   If I could only wish he was smart enough to do that.  Unfortunately, he is the exact type that makes a Liberals job easy.  Why go to the trouble of looking like an idiot in disguise when you can get the real thing without lifting a finger.
  9. If you think this guy is good for gun rights, I have some real concerns about your logic and deductive reasoning skills. I am not saying don't believe what you believe, but realize you are wrong based on any measurement of common sense. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  10. It's technology.  As long as it is connected to the internet, it will always be vulnerable no matter how well we think we have it defended. You would think that they would have the data encrypted to the nth degree though.
  11. I have put probably two thousand rounds through my 1911-22 and haven't taken it apart to clean it.  I always wipe down everything I can reach with a pick, and of course do the barrel every now and then, but I wouldn't say I baby it.  I will probably just shoot it until I have an issue, but good know about that screw head.
  12. Go to "edit" and click on the full editor.  Then you can change it.
  13. The mosquito does suck, but the Sig 1911-22 is probably my favorite 22 host.
  14.   I agree, I don't think I would do it, but it happens all of time in Europe.  They (most) don't do it when cars are running above say 30km/h, but they do it all of the time in the cities.  I spend a lot of time in Brussels and I can tell you that even though I pay attention, you really have to "look" for motorcycles.  There is so much traffic and stop and go that one second there is nothing and the next, they are there.  You really just get used to looking for cars and then looking again for motorcycles.     Keep in mind, over there, these aren't big touring Harley's running between lanes, these are mostly pure commuter size bikes and a ton of what we would consider scooters.  I would guess there are less accidents involving motorcycles per capita (even taking into consideration there are many more motorcycles on the road) than there is here even in states that don't allow lane splitting.
  15. Unless you have a contract which spells out what rights you have or as mentioned, in a union that has it spelled out, you are basicallly at their mercy. You can try to negotiate possibly if you don't like their offer. It will most likely be a take or leave it proposition.
  16. No worries. It is worth pointing out twice!
  17. Thread already started. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/88308-at-least-one-actor-who-gets-it/
  18. /\ Love this guys way with words.
  19.  I have always like Vince Vaughn.   http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2015/06/01/vince-vaughn-wants-all-american-schools-protected-with-firearms/?intcmp=features
  20. I am with Maroon, although I can say there is probably nothing that gets me more worked up than abuse to animals, but dogs specifically.  It was a very good video, but as with most of the like videos, aspca, etc, I have to turn the channel because I just can't stand to watch it.  I know what they are trying to get across, but I just get too worked up.   I will say, that is one of my favorite things about this board and why I feel like TGO is so different from the few other boards I am on, and that is because we have a very outspoken group of dog/animal lovers.
  21.   Since you have the GoPro, I would certainly consider the 3dr Solo.  In the end, the Phantom and Solo are going to be pretty comparable.  It just comes down to a few details around software, but they are both going to fly very similarly.  The guy who is now running 3dr was the lead designer for DJI previously and had a bad split with them.   As with anything, it basically comes down to how much you want to spend.
  22. As the song says "Make an ugly woman your wife and be happy for the rest of your life."   I just can't bring myself to make an ugly woman my wife
  23. Kahrman, it handles incredibly well.  It will hold steady in 20 mph winds, but I don't push it that far.  I have had it up in 15 mph winds and it has done extermely well.  That is one reason these are so much easier to fly.  It uses GPS to keep itself within a 3-5 area.  You can just let go of the controllers and it will sit where it is at.
  24. I would love to get together and compare them at some point. I had considered the 3dr along with the Inspire 1. They all have their advantages. I didn't already have a GoPro, so it just didn't make it quite as cost effective. If it wasn't for the size of the Inspire 1 I probably would have went with it, but I wanted something I could carry in a backpack on a plane.
