  1. I am curious how high the drone was. I have a drone, but would never just hover over someone's back yard.
  2. Congrats. It's always nice to find something you really like.
  3.   This. Beat me to it.
  4. I just used the link from their homepage and selected the download version.  Worked perfect.     First impressions are good.  I like the start menu and general use model.  Took about 45 minutes total to download and install to complete upgrade.  That is on a 6 core machine with 32GB RAM.
  5. I like Macs for some things, but you just dont get good value when comparing what you can get in a pc for performance. I really wanted to buy a new Mac Pro for my video editing, but I could build a more robust pc for 3k less. At some point it just doesn't make sense. I am installing Windows 10 on my Video Editing PC right now. Looking forward to see the differences.
  6. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/7865480 Oldhat, that is the best article I have read on this in a long time.
  7. I would be proud too.  Wishing him safety while he is over there.  And one more thank you from me.
  8. Thanks.  I ordered a few to have on hand.
  9. I may try to make it. Just not sure I want to deal with traffic from Franklin to Donelson at 5pm.
  10. You may want to check out the Nissan Xterra. I have a few friends with them that love them. They have all been very reliable.
  11.   No worries.  Just to make clear, I don't take this personal and hope those who disagree with me don't take it personal.  This is just what I believe.  I have no doubt most of us who disagree on this could go have beers and probably have a hell of a time.
  12. I don't think I have anything to lose, so I guess you? You get nothing or some other God. I get some other God who I couldn't give a crap about. You can say I would go to he'll, so be it.
  13. That was my thought, do you need 4x4 or is AWD ok?  That opens up a lot of things.  And will you really go offroad?  Not just in a field or something, but really on some rutted trail, etc?  If not, AWD would be just fine.
  14.   That's always a comical answer.  You could be as well.
  15. Greg, right or wrong is subjective on many issues.  I think we can all agree that killing someone is wrong on general principle.  We don't need a god to tell us that.  Is adultery wrong.  That is in the eye of the beholder.  There are very few things that are black and white.   I can only speak for myself, but as an atheist, my issue is not with religion in and of itself.  I would even say that yes, some aspects of religion are ok, but there are many others that I don't think are ok.  I choose to live my life based on what I believe to be right and wrong based on my beliefs.  Were my beliefs shaped by religion, sure, but does that mean I must "believe", absolutely not.  I simply don't believe that there is some magical power, or being, or whatever you want to believe that is waiting for me when I die.    So more specific to your question, I give a crap about what I think is right and wrong, not what you or anyone else thinks is right and wrong.  I think it is wrong to cheat on ones wife.  Not because religion told me to, but because I believe in monogamy.   You don't have to have religion to see this play out in the world.  Take a look at the bigger animal kingdom, there are plenty of example of animals that pair for life and many that don't.  I don't think it is an arguable point to say they do not subscribe to religion.  Why do some do this and other's don't?  I think we can agree they have much less cognitive ability than humans, so I see no way to imply that without religion this monogamy would never happen.  It does and it has.     I suppose my biggest issue with religious people in general is always telling others what they are doing wrong.  Most deeply religious people I know have bigger screwed up lives than any atheist I know.  I won't say religion is the problem, but it's certainly not the end all, be all answer either.
  16. At the end of the day, what another adult decides to do in their life is no business of mine unless it directly affects me or my pocketbook.  If someone wants to cheat on their wife, that is on them.  I don't want them telling me how to live my life and I don't need to judge them on living theirs.     I think everyone needs to worry less about what other people are doing in their personal lives and worry about themselves.  I guess that is asking for too much these days.

    Donuts

My friend couldn't remember the exact name, but he thinks it is "Gourmet Donuts" on 171 in Mt Juliet.  He said it was a mile or two north of the interstate and this is the only one I see that fits.  It's also possible the place could have went out of business as it has been a few years since I have had them.  Worth a look if it is in fact the same place.

    Donuts

I don't live around there, but I know someone who does who brought in the absolute best apple fritters ever.  I will see if I can find out the name of it.
  19. Just going by what they said on the news.  They cited that it was private property.  I am guessing that as long as you have permission to be on the private property, then in fact you can have a long gun.  If not, I would not be allowed to shoot at my friend house legally??  That doesn't make sense either.
  20. I am going to say $250-$300 from what I can see from completed auctions on gunbroker.  It is in nice shape.
  21. They are on private property.  So long as the property owner doesn't ask them to leave, they can be there with long guns.  From the info I heard, none of the business at the location in Murfreesboro complained, so the police have no option but to leave them be.
  22. Sam and SWJewell, I agree with both of you.  I guess my point is that if proper steps would be followed I am not completely against this, but it can't be just because someone decided this for you.  It must include due process.
  23.   I don't disagree, but in the cases we are talking in the article, I believe that they have already been deemed incompetent to manage their own affairs through a legal process.  If that is not the case, I agree, it needs to have due process, but I think these situations they are referring to have already had that.
  24. I must be missing something.  I didn't read anywhere that he wants to prevent everyone on SS from being able to own guns.  It specifically states that this is only for people who have been legally deemed incapable of managing their own affairs.  While I am certainly against coming up with arbitrary reasons to prevent people from owning guns, some of you sound like hypocrites.   I believe most reasonable people and a majority of gun owners feel that those with documented mental illness should not own or possess weapons.  I suppose we can argue if there is a difference between mental illness and the ability to manage your own affairs, but I don't personally see an issue.   I can't say I disagree with it.  If people aren't mentally capable of taking care of their own affairs, they shouldn't to me be possessing a gun either in my opinion.  If the NRA had come up with the idea of using known information such as this to prevent those who most likely aren't mentally capable from possessing guns, most would be saying "see, what a good idea by the NRA!"   I am the first to admit, I don't think everyone should or is capable of having a gun.  This to me seems reasonable.  I am not debating that he doesn't want to push it further where I don't agree, but in this case, I am ok with the idea.  Now, they should in no way be able to just confiscate them, they should go to family members or something.  That is one thing I would have an issue with.   Flame away  :hat:
  25. Just FYI for anyone who was on the fence and hasn't ordered one yet, CDNN has a few in stock.  I just ordered one for $394 shipped.  That's about as good as you are going to find it when you can find it.  They have been out of stock and hard to get most of the time.  Make sure you are getting model 6968 which is the regular stock unless you do want the shorter stock (6970) for some reason.  You could find the shorter stock, but not the regular recently.   http://www.cdnnsports.com/rugerr-americanr-ranch-300-blackout-fde.html#.VakfJ_mqpBc
