Glad he did it. Can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing, although I may have let them tire themselves out some more. I probably also would have used a sawzall if I had easy access to one. They weren't going anywhere quick.

Yeah, not too many places with enough length to stretch things out. I still need to sight in and shoot my TRG and start getting some ballistic info on it.
-
Cool. I will be watching to see how you like it.
-
Hmm, it's nuts each city/county has a different process. Gotta make sure they get their money one way or the other.
-
You shouldn't have to go to court to get the option of traffic school. Just call the city and ask them when you can attend a session and verify that the ticket will be dismissed before it gets to court. As long as you show up when you say you will for traffic school, court shouldn't even happen.
-
Yeah, it kept it off my record. It never makes it to court. It's like it vanishes into thin air.

It's all a racket. I got a ticket for going 40 in a 20 (in a school zone) last year in Greenbriar. I was passing a semi that blocked the sign and I was simply doing the normal speed limit had it been any other time of the day. There were no flashing lights, etc to make it obvious. It was absolutely inadvertent, but ok it was what it was. They kind of make it a speed trap there anyway. I forget what the ticket was, but I received a piece of paper with the ticket recommending driving school. It was basically a similar amount to the ticket (~150), but of course it explained that it would keep it off of your record. I sent in money for both the ticket and the school and they sent me the money for the ticket back. Said I only needed to pay one or the other. I assumed I still had to pay for the ticket as well. To me, that almost seems unethical. I am guessing they pay something to the state on a ticket, but I am sure they keep all of the traffic school money. Needless to say, I went and spent my 8 hours and left none the wiser. They know money isn't the deterrent for most people, but 8 hours of boredom surely is. On the good side, I picked up my suppressor from G&L before the ticket.

I will have to disagree. He was the problem. Coach's have to learn to adapt to their talent. Whizenhut was too head strong to adapt and the performance of the team suffered. I am not saying it was all on him, but most of it in my opinion. Webster will be gone soon enough. I actually like Underwood, but he will just be around until the sale goes through. My biggest fear is getting someone like Snyder or Jones buying the team who think they know it all.

In what universe? I am not saying they are more talented right now, but an OC vs. HC is hardly a decision. The main thing hurting us right now is uncertainty over ownership. Once that gets cleared out, I think you will see a new GM, and head coach. I think it will all happen before next year. I think current ownership just made it easier for a buyer to fire the GM and start fresh. Not that it was hard before, but one less person to fire. To add, my "in what universe" question may come across a bit strong. It wasn't meant to. Hard to convey some questions in writing :surrender: .

I don't think Gruden will leave MNF, but I would love to see him coach here. I just like his style. Also wonder if there may be a play for Chip Kelly since things aren't great in Philly. Not sure it would work here, but with their history, it could be interesting.

I wish I was a bit closer. 4 hours one way is a bit much for a match on a Thursday :-)

I have a masterbuilt as well. Works great. Get an AMNPS (google it) and you are set.

I wish mine was 38%. Mine is quoted at a 58% increase. From $335 to $530. I do have the gold plan, but I won't anymore.

If only. I had tickets to Game 5 in Chicago for the NLCS and of course we get sweeped. I have to admit, I pretty well forgot about baseball after that pathetic NLCS for us. I am pretty well anti NY teams, so KC for me.

Williamson. Got a Sightron SIII 10-50x for now. I have another SIII and really like it. Considered a Nightforce 15-55, but just couldn't bring myself to part with that much just yet. Once I get it and start heading to some competitions, I would love to find some guys who may be interested in going as well. Some shoots may require an overnight stay, but some will certainly be able to be a day trip.

New 2x's won't fix that. A wire from top outer corner to lower inside corner with a turnbuckle should do it though. Worst case, just rebuild a new door for no more than it would cost.

I wish there was some ARA or PSL matches in Middle TN, but there aren't. They have them in Chattenooga and Bowling Green, KY, as well as in Paducah, KY. I think there may even be a few more places in KY where they have them. I would love to even start some matches around here, but belonging to a members only range makes it hard to start something where you could draw people from a decent distance. As to the gun, it will be a Stiller Precision 2500x action, Shilen Ratchet barrel, Flavio Trigger, and Lidgard stock. Richard Gorham is doing the metal work and I had Tom Meredith do the bedding. The only bad part is that I won't be able to blame the equipment. :pleased: Here is a pic of the stock.

I am assuming the carbs are the hard part for you or is it something else in the bisquick. Bisquick is basically flour with some levening agents already added. If there is a more carb friendly flour, you could probably use it with some baking powder.

Thanks. It was expensive, but when considering the quality, not as bad as you may think. I am learning quickly, Rimfire BR is not a cheap endeavor, but then again I don't know much in the competition gun arena that is cheap.

I am usually not one to get too excited about my rests and things like that, but this one is pretty impressive, enough so that I though some others may be interested in it, at least from the craftsmanship standpoint. It is one of those very specific needs and limited mostly to rimfire benchrest use, but craftsmanship is craftsmanship, and this is pretty impressive in my opinion. In the Rimfire BR game, there are only a few major players in the one piece rest market. One of the competitors who is also a machinist started making his own version of a pretty common design. I am having a new benchrest gun built and decided to go full out ready for competition. I just received the rest today and had to share. First clue on how someone values their work can be seen by how they protect it in shipping. This thing fit like a glove in this box. I may use it as a carry case for it. The entire rest. All Aluminum except for a few wear plates which are bronze and the delrin in a few areas. For reduced friction and tracking, this is a new style top with roller bearings. and last, but not least, all micro controls are at the rear of the rest for easy access while shooting. Now just to wait for my rifle to get done. I am excited to run this thing through its paces. Anyone else around here into Rimfire BR (ARA or PSL).

Hornady Says “We Change Everything – 10/27/15”

I will sleep better tonight knowing this has been solved. -
I had a BakFlip on a ford. It was a quality cover. I didn't like the back window being completely blocked, but I agree it gives the most room in the bed. If I remember right, the other thing I didn't like was you couldn't partially open it. It had to be all or nothing.

Recommend a good place for BBQ and a place for burgers in Nashville
Hozzie replied to jgradyc's topic in General Chat
Goes to show Burgers are subjective. I am not a big fan of Buganut's burgers. I like Drake's burgers and believe it or not, one of the best and most consistent burgers I have had is at Famous Daves. They have one where they mix burger and brisket together before grilling. It is excellent. -
That looks pretty nice, similar to a Roll-n-Lock. I debated forever on getting a hard top/vs soft top, etc and finally went with a soft top. I have had hard tops in the past and find that I just carry to many odd sized items that end up being too tall. The security is nice, but the flexibility of use wasn't great on a hard top. I think the first question you should ask yourself is what do you normally haul? You can certainly take a hard top off when needed, but it is a pain. The other issue with even some of the other tops such as the Roll-n-Lock is that while they don't take up a lot of room, they do take up at least 12-16 inches. Depending on your bed, that can mean getting a 4 wheeler in it or not. I usually just haul mine on a trailer, but sometimes it's nice not to haul a trailer as well. In the end, I went with a Tonno Pro tri-fold. The main reason was I could take it on and off by myself in less than 3 minutes when needed. I have had it for 5 years and it is still in great shape. It keeps water out very well, and a nice bonus was that it was less than $300. While I really wanted a Leer Topper, it was just too restrictive for my use. There are a lot of options out there. Determine your primary need and consider even your occasional needs. If you have a way to work around you occasional needs, then get whichever one you like the best.
