Agree, that would fit the bill great.. -

Wait until Midway has this on sale. You can usually get it for about $40. These are great bags. I would pay the $70 if I absolutely needed one right now, but these always seem to be on sale except of course right now. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/259680/midwayusa-competition-range-bag-system

I think you are right about ownership, but I suspect similar reasoning applies. I guess only time will tell.

I bet they will. Ronnie has taken some pretty positioned stances before and I can see them doing this. He won't sell his 50cal to the State of California for example. He said if the people can't have them, he wouldn't sell them to the State either. While the NRA isn't perfect, they certainly do more than almost any other organization to help protect 2A.

Silencerco Saker 7.62 or Hybrid?
Hozzie replied to Sniper23's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
I have two others in jail right now as well. Form 4's were sent in about a month ago as well. I am expecting 8-10 months with everyone trying to rush to get in before the deadline. I hope I was just early enough to be close to that 8 month timeframe. -
The Saddle Shop in Triune is great, but probably a bit of a drive (~$32 OTD). It's a bit of a hole in the wall, but they are very nice people. I have heard Music City Pawn on Murfreesboro Rd in Franklin is reasonable, but haven't been there myself. May be worth a call.

I am glad they will help you. The UPS store in Franklin on Murfreesboro Rd won't ship anything even related to a firearm for shipment. I went in this week to ship a barrel (no receiver, etc) and they wouldn't ship it. They say UPS won't allow them to take anything related to a firearm which I believe is complete BS and you now help to confirm that. I have never had an issue at the main customer center on Seaboard Ln, but I have had issues more than once at the "UPS Store". Like anything, I think it comes down to individuals.

Silencerco Saker 7.62 or Hybrid?

You will be happy with the Omega. It will make a great first suppressor. -
Sorry Pete, but much of this is incorrect. 1) An individual can ship a firearm to an FFL in another state. As Patton mentions, some FFL's say they won't receive one from an individual, but there is no law against it. 2) An individual can ship a firearm via UPS (I always use UPS because I know their rules best and have never had an issue). You go to a UPS customer center (not a UPS Store), just take a copy of the FFL for which you are sending it and they will ship it. Cost depends on size of course, but the last rifle I sent was about $35-$40 for shipping and insurance. Just put a copy of your DL in the box so they can log it. I know FedEx will ship them as well. Not sure if USPS will anymore, but they are always a hassle because the employees never know the rules. If needed, I think the average cost of an FFL to ship it is about $35 on top of the shipping itself. At least that is what I see most often (that may include some extra handling feeds for the seller to since they now have to go to their FFL). I would put in my gunbroker ad that the receiving FFL needs to accept from an individual or add $35 to have it shipped FFL to FFL. Make the buyer pay for it as it is their decision to use an FFL that requires it. That is what I have done many times with no issue. I haven't had one person yet require me to send from my FFL although that may change the next gun I sell.

I would and did go Omega 30. Quieter and smaller. I also have a Specwar 762 that I really like as it is the quietest, but Also the largest. The Specwar and Omega also use the same quick connect. The idea of the hybrid is kind of neat, but after buying each module, j am not sure I would want to mess with it. -
I doubt it, but my dealer always fills mine out so I am not sure. I would ask your dealer.

The RTIC's are just getting out there, but I am confident they will be just a good as the Yeti. I have also heard the Ozark brand has excellent reviews and they are cheap. There are just too many comparable competitors now to pay the price for a Yeti IMO. I will probably buy an RTIC based on my experience with my two 30oz tumblers.

I hope he does great. I have great respect for you both on how you take care of your animals. I wish there were more out there like you. Best of luck in his recovery.

As I understand it, it will now require Head Law Enforcement Sign Off and Fingerprints submitted for everyone on the trust.

Eotech 518-2 at Midway for $394 w/free shipping
Hozzie replied to Hozzie's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Dammit, now I have to fill out Midways stupid paper return form. I have a 512 as well. I like that this one has the quick attach base on it. -
I was looking for another sight for one of my SBR's and ran across this deal at Midway. Best I have seen on this anywhere. Wanted to pass it along if someone else also needed a sight. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/472655/eotech-5182-holographic-weapon-sight-68-moa-circle-with-2-1-moa-dots-reticle-matte-aa-battery-with-quick-detachable-mount

Gotcha. I will say there have been a few things I see where I go "I want that" to then search and find it is all the way across the state.

All you have to do is click on the sellers name. Their profile info shows the location.

David, I wasn't trying to imply any expectation that you should be sitting around waiting for us to think up things to change. I fully understand this is not your first priority, no problem there. My hope (or to be honest, expectation) would be that IP gives you some easy to change parameters that allows you to change how a function works. I suspect they have a decent size team working in this and as we all know, customers want options. I probably do think about some of these items in a bit more technical detail than some as I am immersed in discussions on a daily basis on these types of things, so my expectation of software in general is pretty high. My real goal was to simply ask the workflow of most users. For me, workflow optimization is the key to any and all good software and UI's. I don't expect any changes immediately. In time, if a majority of users express that this may be a more optimized workflow, I will leave it to you to decide if and when to see if it can be done. Along those lines, if you knew it wasn't even an option then it would stop the discussion from being necessary was my other reason for asking. I apologize if it came across as sounding like I was complaining about a lack of responsiveness. That certainly isn't the case. I was simply replying to OS in that instance that just because everyone else does something one way, doesn't necessarily make it the most optimized way. I think we need to go have those beers you mentioned before. I suspect our discussion would be quite agreeable .

So it's 1-1. Ha. I can agree on the common convention theory. My next question would then be, is the current convention the best? Not so sure. Let me me ask it this way, when you click on a thread, do you more often go to post one and scroll through one or more pages or do you go to the first unread post?
-
That could be, but what do people prefer? Just because they do it that way doesn't mean it is preferred. I am a product manager for a software company. Believe me, customers tell me every day that my decision isn't what they prefer. I am just stating what I prefer and wonder what others would use most. Usability is important and that doesn't just mean having the ability to do something, it means doing it most efficiently for the user. Sorry to be argumentative. I am the guy that doesn't take the answer "that's the way everyone else does it" as the way it has to or should be.

Open question. Is it a possible option to swap the functions of clicking the thread title(currently goes to first post) and clicking the small icon next to the title (currently goes to first unread post)? I suspect that most are like me and naturally click the thread title expecting to go to the first unread post. I obviously realize that you can click the other, however, I find I still have a hard time hitting the small icon with my fat fingers. I personally would love to have them swapped, but don't know if that is an option or if others would like it. I really have the issue on the mobile interface. It would probably make me miss Tapatalk less if it would go to the first unread post when clicking the main title Not trying to be a pain, I just wonder which way is more used by everyone. I could completely be in the minority.
