I guess I am missing something, but it must be a miserable way of going about ones day to always be looking over your shoulder and on high alert. Yes, there are some bad people out there, but man relax a bit.

Don't know if anyone else is watching the Cubs parade on ESPN. 5 Million + in attendance. Absolutely awesome. Wish I was there.

And many others. I think that was why it was so emotional for many of us who grew up around the area and are what I call true blood Cubs fans. I remember coming home from school to my Grandma's and she always had the Cubs game on in the afternoon. She didn't hardly miss a game. This was before there were lights in the stadium. This was just as much about those we have lost who didn't get to see this day as it is for us. I loved Bill Murray's comments after the game. He said his mom died something like 29 years ago yesterday. He said this was about his mom, dad, grandfather, uncles, etc. I know many of us have the same feelings. Go Cubs Go!

I put in a transfer switch as well. If you are familiar with wiring it is pretty easy.

You don't need to get a Honda, but get a Honda motor. Many generators have them now. I would recommend an 8500/7500 in size so you have a little room to spare. I haven't looked lately, but Sams carried one called a Black Maxx in that size for $999. Only thing I would suggest is getting one that has a self idler for when there is no load being put on it. It will save gas. You can also get a tri-fuel conversion to run them off natural gas, propane, or gas.

So my 30k rounds of 22 is too much? To each his own. I don't get blasting a 30 round mag of 223 with no apparent goal, but plenty of people do that. I could give a crap. Get what you like.

No shellholders like Mike said. You wouldn't regret it. https://www.amazon.com/RCBS-Universal-Hand-Priming-Tool/dp/B000KKB86A By the time you pay shipping for a couple of the lee's, you could have one. -
Life long Cubs fan. I will go to at least one game. Went last Sunday and the atmosphere in Chicago is unbelievable. I don't want to be there when/if they win. It will turn into Baghdad West.

E-file form1 for SBR timeline.
Hozzie replied to maroonandwhite's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
Call the ATF and ask. Maybe there is a problem of some sort and they didn't update the request. -
Try some Burris signature zee low rings. They should get your scope down to about as low as it can go without touching the barrel.
-
I think I have a problem. Another Rimfire BR gun.

Most form 1 E-File's are taking at least 6 months now. Paper filing will take longer no doubt.
-
They were overly optimistic. I would guess you will not have it for at least 12 months with everything that went in. I sent in two form 4's at the end of April and will be happy if I see them by June or July of next year. 7 months is a pipe dream in my opinion.

Headed to Chi-town Saturday afternoon to catch game 2 of the NLCS on Sunday. Hopefully they schedule it as the late game so I can see the Bad News Bears game beforehand. I know we have some upstate Illinois guys on here. Any die hard Cubs fans? GO CUBS!

For me, I guess it doesn't matter. That type of trigger with the safety in it still takes a long pull. I think it was fine for what this is.

You will receive an email. No need to check every day. It emails when the status changes. -
Report it to ebay and find another RV. Dealing with clearly unscrupulous people will always come back to haunt you.

It's maybe important to note that some may not be open to the public. Strategic Edge for example is member only and they have a waiting list. Just don't want anyone driving all the way out there to realize they can't shoot.

Just picked up another action for a rimfire build.
-
I held one when picking up an action yesterday at my FFL. It is little, but I liked it. Not sure compared to the old one, but it cannot feel much larger in practice. This thing was small. The trigger was what I consider to be like most other striker triggers and that is a long pull, but for it's intended use, I don't think that is bad. I suspect with some practice, anyone could use it in a defensive situation. I probably never would have considered one before, but I do like the idea of pocket carry at times and my Shield is just a bit too big for that. This may fit the bill. I am curious to see how snappy it is when shooting.

New ARA Club and Match (Rimfire Match) - Sat, Nov 19th
Hozzie replied to Hozzie's topic in Competitive Shooting Sports
As competitions go, I have never met a group of people more willing to share information and even equipment as I have with ARA. Most of us who shoot often have multiple custom guns and will let someone use them to get started. It really made an impression on me when I started. It's one of the reasons I now am ok with traveling long distances for matches.
