  1. No problem. If you give me the dimensions and thread types I will make you something. The hard part with trying to edit the STL is it can be hard to keep the dimensions correct. You have to convert them to something else before you can edit them. Or at least it is for me. I am a hobbyist with this stuff so someone that really knows what they are doing may not have that issue, but I have had a problem with a couple of other parts I have tried to edit.
  2. Probably just as easy to design a new part altogether as simple as it is. What are the dimensions and thread pitches you want inside and out? And do you mean take the head off or the tip on the end? To add, you can get Fusion 360 for personal use for free. There are a lot of youtube video's on how to use it. Something like this could be a good first attempt to create something.
  3. It can be done, but it isn't always simple. When you say modify, how big of modification? Maybe show what you want and I can see if I can help.
  4. I don’t know how it went down, but having been temporarily suspended for a joke, I know you cannot send a PM or do anything so that may not have worked. I would simply point out that it could have also been addressed by Chuck sending him a pm to ask details. Maybe that happened, maybe it didn’t, but being an Admin on a forum as well, it’s up to us to do our part to understand as well. I will add, just because you can ‘not’ delete a users account doesn’t make it right if it is done out of a position of “I will show you”. We should all have the right to request our accounts be removed if that is really what we want. Doing the right thing comes in many flavors.
  5. OpticsPlanet is usually terrible with estimates. If they show they have it I have never had an issue. If they say 4 weeks, that means who knows, it could be 16. I would just leave them both and cancel the other after a shipping notice. And keep looking. One may pop up somewhere else.
  6. Agree with most above. I am an Endowment Member with the NRA, but it's been clear for a while that the leadership is out for themselves. I need to start giving more to the GOA it sounds like.
  7. Die manufacturer doesn’t matter for the press itself. I prefer Redding competition for precision things, but any will work. If you have other general reloading supplies you shohld be good. I do hand prime all of my rounds as it is just faster.
  8. If I was in better shape I would be all over this.
  9. If you are going up there, go to an FFL there and do the transfer. They should know what to do and as it is a long gun you should be able to drive home with it and not have to to anything here.

    PSA AR Kit

I never underestimate the ignorance of the general public. I hope you are right for all of our sakes.

Or if Biden wins (God help us), you will get if for a mere 3 times the price
  12. If you are going to go Centerfire, you may also consider one of the 300 blackout bolt guns. Would make a good hog gun that can be suppressed (if you are into that) and is easily reloadable. Would have better energy as well.
  13. I would want the most muzzle energy I could for the purpose. The TCM will have the most, followed by 22 Mag, and then 17HMR. Downside as you mention is its cost. It is over double the cost per round than 22 Mag, but it has double the energy. 22 Mag - 40 grain bullet with a velocity of 1,910 fps in a 22" rifle barrel has 324 ft-lbs 22TCM - 40 grain bullet with a velocity of 2,752 fps in a 22" rifle barrel has 673 ft.-lbs 20grain 17hmr at 2,2350fps is 250 ft-lb Note also that 22TCM isn't SAAMI approved so if you did want to reload, it may have some challenges. Not saying people don't, but there isn't a set spec as I understand it. Neither of the others can be reloaded so not really an issue for the comparison, just something to know if you do consider that.

    Flag pole

I have this one. https://www.united-states-flag.com/commercial-grade-sectional-25-ft-flagpole-satin.html?utm_source=bm23&utm_medium=email&utm_term=%%%23productName_%23%%&utm_content=Thanks+for+stopping+by,+We've+saved+your+cart!&utm_campaign=USF+Cart+Abandonment+-+Production&_bta_tid=14000970671401961990529702703511432133718551236723746448307102074096693240654616241309763298447415394141441&_bta_c=9udomvurta0nxyi4jj4s40tm5lg26 Has been great. Not cheap, but it has withstood everything for a year with no issues and don't foresee any unless we have some major winds. I fly two flags. One 4x6 and one 3x5 and it has no issues. I put this on top and it lights it well. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RGXR537/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 These are really nice flags as well. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PMV9O8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  15. I use a KME which works well for me for what I wanted to spend. https://www.kmesharp.com/ I think Willis uses the mack daddy version of the Wicked Edge system. https://wickededgeusa.com/
  16. Well, if you live in Ringgold, you can't simply go to the show and buy a handgun anyway. You would have to have it sent over to an FFL in Georgia.
  17. I was recently looking for my first rmr to try out and saw some reviews for the 508T V2. It has good reviews, but as outlined, not out yet. I ended up going with the Leupold Delta Point Pro 2.5 as it seems many like it vs the Trijicon for not having the blue hue to it. I am not carrying it, so being indestructible wasn't my primary goal. Anyone have the 507 and able to compare it to the Leupold by chance? Just curious if there is a major difference. The price difference between the 508T V2 ($349 is what I have found most common) and what I paid for the DPP ($399) didn't seem to be worth worrying about a wait. If the 507's are comparable and the price goes down when the 508 actually makes it out. I may buy a couple more just to have. Thoughts from those more experienced with these?
  18. I'm amused that anyone thinks anyone else gives two ####s what the other thinks. It's pretty clear by now and has been for years that people do what they want. Some will follow, some won't. Some have reasons, some don't. Think anything you want of the other person as it affects their life is absolutely zero ways. My general motto is you do you, I'll do me. Don't like me or my decisions, so be it. I can tell you at least one of us isn't losing sleep over it. I suspect most here are the same.
  19. Here is mine. It's one of the first things I added when I bought the house.
  20. Are you going to shoot ARA factory class with it? Not sure if Mike is going to do that at CRC or not.
  21. Saddle Shop in Triune does.
  22. The cost of the rifles is the cheap part. So many get focused on the cost of building a rifle, but don't realize that all of the other items needed to shoot BR add up fast (rest, wind flags, travel, etc). The most under appreciated cost on all of it is the cost of ammo. A lot of people think, oh it's rimfire, ammo is cheap. Wrong. I probably spend $1000/year on just test lots. Then when you find a lot that works, cases run between $1100 and $1700 per case. It's easy to go through a couple of cases per year if you shoot much. That being said, there are other hobbies that cost a heck of a lot more so it's all relative I guess.
  23. No, that stock profile is made by a guy named Brent Lidgard. Mike's stocks are based on Bill Pippin's design. I am using a different type now that uses Dymalux which is a very dense laminated wood. Lots of options out there these days.
  24. I shoot the ARA matches at CRC periodically. Mike who runs the matches is one of the nicest guys in our sport. Come out some Saturday they are having a match (usually third Saturday of the month). Next one is May 23rd, but it may be cancelled as our bis shoot in Bristol is that weekend.
  25. The second pic above is my Vudoo. It's a nice gun and shoots good, but man is it heavy with that MPA BA Chassis. I didn't realize how heavy it would be. I haven't shot much with it yet so maybe that will be good, but it was surprising.
