They can wish in one hand and #### in the other and see which one has something in it. No one is rewriting the constitution. No way 3/4 of states agree on anything.

Yes, they said on the news the same Tornado/cell was on the ground for 200 miles. Started in Northeast Arkansas and went through KY.

Replace right with left and the same applies. That's the real problem, meaning they are both correct statements.

I think one could reasonably believe that the shooter was in fear for the bodily harm and /or life of his girlfriend and himself. For me, that in and of itself makes getting the gun not such an issue. He never points the gun at the guy until the guy basically initiates contact and tries to take the gun. At that point, I think all bets are off. What is probably of even more importance are things we don’t know like any previous threats, etc.

It's quite possible it was setup for "bottlecap shooting". Guys did all kinds of things to those guns to help with cold bore flyers, etc. The back boring concept has been used a lot in different scenario's. One of the most common is using it as a way to 'tune' a rifle. There are a ton of 52's and 40x's out there. If you want one, you can certainly find a nice one if you keep your eye out. That being said, it may be worth shooting it and see how it does. Price would be important factor of course and depending on the condition of the Unertl it will also play a big factor.

It will take time, but probably not a lot. Once she knows she has a place to get food and a place for security/safety in her dog house, she will quickly start to warm up to you. I don't know a lot about the breed so not much help there, but I firmly believe you will both find that you bring something to each other. Once she is more comfortable with you, I would introduce (on leash of course) her to the cats. She may end up inside at some point (on purpose or accident) and better to introduce them in a controlled environment first. Most importantly, thank you for taking her in and giving her a home. I hope it works out well for both of you.

If you think that will prevent them from knowing who you are, you don’t understand how these things work. Anyone with any real technical ability will know that in short order.

Pick your favorite. They have 16.5" versions in many of them I think. https://www.kiddinnovativedesign.com/Heavy-Rifle_c_17.html Or do it the easy way and just go here and have it ready to go. Just add a stock. (PS. Get the rear tang). https://www.coolguyguns.com/KIDD-Aftermarket-Barreled-Action-Supergrade-with-Build-Options-_p_172.html

Not that we may not already be doomed as a country, but if there is not at least 1 person on that jury that has the sense to see this for what it is, we are worse off than I thought.

Agree, for the money of building a custom 10/22, I would buy a Bergara B14R and buy a different stock if I didn't like the factory one. I also have the Bergara ( and have had Vudoo's). For the money, the B14R or even the new BMR is a better buy. The BMR is a bit smaller and doesn't require AICS type mags.

Not trying to be negative, but shooting a 1/2" group at 50 yards with a scout scope or red dot is not realistic. The 16" barrel doesn't help in that regard either. I think you can build a gun that will definitely meet your needs, but I would guess an inch at 50 yards as setup is about as good as one could expect. Probably important to understand that I shoot 22 BR competitively and probably have a different view of what accuracy is. One can shoot a 3 shot group with about any gun at some point and have what some consider to be a one hole group. My expectations are that I can pull that gun out and do that at anytime within reason. Here is a picture of a 10/22 that I put together, but it is more custom than most. I had a TCR22 that I never really shot so I used it to have some fun building something I would shoot. I threaded the receiver and used an extra BR barrel I had laying around (Douglas). It has a Kidd Bolt, springs, trigger, and rear tang. I bedded the receiver as well. It will shoot better than many 22's, but for the money in it, not worth the cost IMO. I did all of the machining so that cost wasn't extra. Long story short. Buy the (quality) parts that you like the looks of and put it together. The biggest factor in accuracy is going to be a quality barrel and decent ammo. About the only thing I am confident of saying is I would absolutely get a Kidd Trigger. There are cheaper options, but day in and day out, Kidd is hard to beat for a 10/22 trigger.

Define "Super Duper". There are very few 10/22's of any flavor out there that I would spend the money on to make them shoot at best "almost" as good as a bolt gun. That's of course not a 100% of the time statement, but I can be pretty confident I can spend $1000 on a bolt gun that will almost always outshoot a built 10/22. There are exceptions, but in general it will be true. Not saying you still don't want a 10/22, just trying to understand your usage and expectations. For me, target and hunting have very different accuracy needs. If it is more just plinking, and wanting to pop off rounds with 'reasonable' accuracy, a nice 10/22 will do just fine.

I don't know him well, but do see Albert from time to time in Franklin and know many who do know him. I won't defend him on the field, but he was arrested for a reason I believe most any dad on here would also be arrested. His ex's boyfriend was/is allegedly accused of doing something to his son. He drove down there and probably did something many on here would also do. Maybe slow the role on judgement unless you know the details. As I understand, he did get a new kidney and is doing better on that front.

It took me an hour to get through their line. They said since it was basically ready to process, they would make it tomorrow and would probably be ready for pickup on Wed or Thur at the latest. Hard to beat that these days.

I am at Flowers right now. I am #16 in line. There is a place called Potts Meats in Watrace which has good reviews, but they don’t take meat already deboned and trimmed.

My dad shot this 9 pointer at my place this morning about 8:30. He saw 5 bucks and 4 does. Not a bad morning. -
Supreme Court arguments for NY Concealed Carry
Hozzie replied to Moped's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Yeah, it was pretty embarrassing for them in my view. There were times it even seemed that the liberal justices were not convinced of their arguments. -
They have signed Adrian Petersen to the practice squad.

We will agree to disagree. Call it what you want. They are mutts.
-
Disregard, A516 beat me to it.

Please don't. There are too many dogs in this world as it is that can't be taken care of. Breeding mutts to make a few bucks is a poor choice. You may not like to think of yourself as a puppy mill, but responsible breeders don't buy random dogs and say "I can breed this with whatever I have". Be more responsible than that.

They make it up as they go, but here is the MW definitions and usage. Us middle aged old cantankerous men are just too ignorant to understand the complexities of these things I suppose. As I have said before, now everyone has to be special (in their own mind). https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/gender#usage-1
