  1. 39A Mountie from batch one and the 39A from batch two. The Weaver scope has good clarity so I'm leaving it on for awhile. I sure do like these Marlins. Two in two months.
  2. Low information voters, moochers, losers, wealth redistributionists, socialist, Marxists, are all zombies .....does this remind you of a scene out of WWZ christmas-day-thug-riot-in-jacksonville-florida-after-600-black-youths-try-to-storm-movie-theater- http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2013/12/26/christmas-day-thug-riot-in-jacksonville-florida-after-600-black-youths-try-to-storm-movie-theater-the-cinema-was-showing-tyler-perrys-a-medea-christmas/
  3. 13 weeks later; I got my XDs back yesterday.

    Merry Christmas

  5. http://www.amazon.com/Arisen-Genesis-Michael-Stephen-Fuchs-ebook/dp/B00AO76XI2 Just started this Series. Good reviews and so far so good.
  6. Just up the road from me. May as well.
  7. Found these recently and got a good buy from a quasi estate sale. Model 11 Remington and a Marlin 39A. I tore down the 11 cleaned it up and it's in great shape. Cylinder with IC Choke. SN indicates manufactured in 1912. I'm going after the Marlin next. So much fun working on neglected but not abused guns. The Case 3 inch Sharktooth was was in with some ammo and cleaning supplies. Picked up four handguns in the deal too. Came with a 4 Power Weaver.
  8. This tells the tale. Look at the Candiru compared with the I2.
  9. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
  10. Take a look at the specs. The I and I2 have the same blade, the I2 has a slightly larger handle. Sort of depends on your hand size. It pocket carries fine, neck, sheath vertical, horizontal cross draw and pack strap handle down without looking out of scale. With scales or para If I could only do one of the three small ESSE's I would do the I2. Then a four and six. http://www.the-knife-connection.com/eseeknives.html This is the best place to buy. Dale is a great guy and has an additional 5 percent off right now. Here is a I2, HEST and a 3Mil. One thing about it you can always trade around on the ESSE Forum.
  11. I have a few. Fenix, EagleTac, 4Sevens, PrincetonTec, a custom made solid copper 1XAAA on the way. Haven't bought one in awhile so I'm behind the ANSI Lumen curve. Think this will be next. Nitecore SRT6 Night Officer (Gray) 930 Lumens XM-L2 T6 LED Variable brightness Flashlight/searchlight with Genuine Nitecore NL186 18650 2600mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery, Nitecore i2 intelligent Charger, Car Charging Cable, Smith & Wesson LED CaraBeamer Clip Light and 2 X EdisonBright CR123A Batteries Veridian 90 Lumen with green LaZer.
  12. I recently bought a Remington 513T. The Straight Shooter1907 sling on the Matchmaster was a little rough so I sent it off to Ron Brown, leather slingmeister for a refurbishment. I also had him make me a new 1907 service sling. Turned out really nice and this thing will last two lifetimes. Herman Oak Leather. Frogs by Waterbury Buckle. Parkerized oversized D rings. Turner was the other I considered. Ron Brown was very responsive to my novice questions. http://www.servicerifleslings.com/Home_Page.html

  14. Candiru is the second fixed blade knife I pocket carry. The first was a Izula II. Great small fixed blade suitable for neck, belt or pocket carry.
  15. I recently bought a rifle that shoots only 22 shorts. I was looking for some ammo for weeks. Finally found some at Benton's Shooting Supply a couple days ago. I was aghast at the price per 50. More aghast that I bought 3 boxes. At least I can shoot it and see if it works. Don't imagine there is much demand for shorts.
  16. Here is a 686 L Frame in a 3 inch. It's CS-1. S&W M&P 340 J Frame.
  17. My favorites are the K Frame 66 and 19s. Ones in good condition are going to run 550 to 750. Box, tools, papers etc. If you simply want a good all around .357 get a new Ruger. 3 inch 100s are going for around $530.
  18. Have a .380 I carry frequently. I bought it before the plethora of small semiautos came out. I carry it more often than anything else. Stainless steel work of art, and outstanding workmanship. Get a grip extension from Jeff SIG. Definitely improves control. Seecamp has a great Forum.
  19. It won't be long now and all the stores will be awash in .22, and prices will come down. It's true as evidenced with 9mm, 45, .223 etc. that's showing up. I refuse to buy ammo from the LGS right now. I haven't seen .22 or 9mm at Walmart for a year. But then I work and don't get to Walmart often, or at the opportune times. I buy it online for the most part.
  20. 9 Weeks and counting.
  21. Light my Fire amongst some of my fire gear.
  22. Nice. Very nice!
  23. Sure is purdy. I would probably do whatever caliber I had and shot the most. .357 for me. That way I could do .38 special. I love my levers.
  24. Their email memo today said if they were in by the 10th of September they would likely be out by Thanksgiving if not before. Received between 9.11 and 30th by Xmas or before. 10-1 through 31, back "shortly after the Holidays. I will be hard pressed to buy from them again. But hey look at the Shield issues. Glocks starting to look better all the time!!
