    Sig owners?

    P226R in .357sig is my edc. Occasionally I carry my wife's P239 .40.
  2. Yeah, I checked the Lenny's on Highland today and the sign is gone!
  3. The sign also had the proper verbiage, although you could barely see it. I also knew, after seeing it from the outside that I would probably be able to talk my way out of trouble. I used the words about breaking the law, when talking to the manager, to let him know that things are not right. I don't carry in places that post improperly because they don't want my business.
  4. I nearly got myself in trouble. As I went into Lenny's Sub Shop near U. of Memphis, I checked the door area for posting (even they they don't serve alcohol) and saw none except against smoking. I was open carrying. I ordered my sandwiches and had a seat at a table while waiting. That's when I noticed a silhouette of a gun with a slash through it on the door that I had entered. I immediately covered my gun and apologized to the manager as I had seen him notice my handgun. Thankfully, he was not concerned about it. I did tell him that I would not be back because of their policy even though I did like their food. When I left the store, I looked at the sign and saw why I didn't see it. It was a clear decal with black lettering and slash/pistol symbol. From the outside, it was practically invisible. I locked my gun in my car and went in to tell him that if they are going to ban guns, that they need to get a sign that is clearly visible, because I didn't want others to unknowingly break the law, as in the situation that I found myself.
  5. Are you saying that if you stop someone for a traffic violation, and they present their HCP along with their DL, that you would disarm them for the duration of the stop? The two times that I have been pulled over by MPD, once for a broken windshield and once for going 31 in a 25 , the officers asked me where the weapon was (on my right hip) and told me to leave it there. They were very polite and didn't seem concerned about it.
  6. Old Venice Pizza 368 Perkins Ext Memphis, TN 38117-3802 (901) 767-6872 Ate there yesterday, (Not posted)
  7. Brother Juniper's 3519 Walker Ave, Memphis, TN 38111 • (901)324-0144 near Univ. of Memphis many times voted "Best Breakfast in Memphis" Every time I go in, the owner, Jonathan, asks me what I'm packing today. This morning when I picked up my San Diegan (delicious and Rachel Ray likes it, too) I asked him if he would be posting against carrying (some non-alcohol restaurants have been posting ). He said "Of course not!".
  8. R P Tracks near the University of Memphis posted this non-compliant sign. (901) 327-1471 3547 Walker Ave Memphis, TN 38111
