  1. Must mean Bush was responsible once again!!! I mean he controlled the weather, surely he can fix a little ole football game.
  2. There will be dispatch records of the stop to tell the Police chief who conducted the stop. I don't know if all Cookeville PD have the dash cams but some do as they were the unit that got national publicity for shooting the dog on the side of I-40. Ask for the dash cam and audio to be reviewed with you! In fact, if you can, deliver the complaint personally and ask to see the records or at least verify they are present. Do not let them do the administrative shuffle on you. If your family has an attorney they have used, you might give them a call and inform them you may have need of them and that if pushed you will be providing the PD with their name as council. This will usually stop the admin run around and might prevent them from excessive "looking" for records.
  3. Time to put a few trail cameras up on the easiest paths into that spot. At this time of year your going to want to find some brush pile or other way to hide the camera until the foilage comes in. Get pictures of the dill hole and then give them to Trousdale Metro. They probably already know them! If you want, I volunteer to patrol once in a while. Can hit it on the way home from work. See if anyone is in any parking areas, driveways etc near the property. There will be a run in at some point. Had it happen to us on our lease this year! He was outnumbered though as there were 5 of us and only him and his "women". He got very apologetic as the second and third truck rolled up on him. He apparently was very mouthy with the first guy in when he felt the odds were equal saying he didn't need to "tell you f$ing anything" when asked why he was there (at 4:30 AM on a Sunday morning). When my brother and I got up to the site he got all "sorry". My brother had already had the sheriff's department talk to him as he had dumped some trash on the property and of all things, left some prescription bottles in the bags. Wasn't a hard case to solve. My brother let him know this was no longer available for parking, dumping, looking around or any other activity. He was then informed any further venture onto the property would lead to either a trespassing charge, if lucky, or a arse whooping, if warranted. We shall see if he wishes to push the issue. Sorry you have to deal with the sorrier side of humanity here Tempest. Be armed and get a small digital recorder to carry with you while your there till this resolves. I have one if you need it.
  4. Neither, its just an excuse for me to eat meatballs and nachos
  5. hmmph
  6. Didn't happen to notice if you could rotate that guide to a "narrow" position did you? I have seen some lights that you could adjust by moving the guide to match the pic rails. Was just a thought and apparently not needed now. If it works, its gravy!

    Good cops?!

Years ago, was headed home with girlfriend and a strawberry pie from Shoney's in the front seat. My last day at home as I was off for Korea the next day. Was also driving my mother's Chrysler Lebaron (ugh). THP got me doing about 70 in a 55 as I was in a hurry to get home and have the final dinner and spend some time with sweetie (beatch dear johned me 5 months into my tour, good riddance). Trooper see's short haired young man with girlfriend and pie and immediately asks if I'm in the military. Gave him the short version that I was taking pie home for last dinner at home. He chuckles, said something about this being to "American" to deserve a ticket and tells me to scoot. Guess the moral for you heavy footers is to get that hair cut and get a pie (strawberry or apple please). The girlfriend part may be harder as some of our wife's might get peeved but there's the formula for running the fast lane. That was 1985 so I guess I'm just lucky since then.
  8. I sold a peddle boat here....nuff said.
  9. If your on the "cheap" mode of yote hunting, any .22 LR will work. A 10/22 or some other semi sighted in with a moderate scope will stlll do the job. A single shot .223 or .243 would also be cost efficient. Being able to put the shot in the vitals is the important part. Their Yotes, don't sweat it, knock em down.
  10. You should have said "nah, that's my gun, my pistol is in the other pocket, any more questions Liberace?"
  11. Life Member, also using the ELP program.

  13. The Baldwin sisters were the kicking sisters! That's who you wanted to hang with dog.
  14. Pass on it. Get a Streamlight TLR1 or TLR2. Little bigger, 200x better performance.
  15. Ya'll shut up...........sleeping ! !
  16. Goodnight Mike.357
  17. Additional round count meters are only 199.99 plus shipping. You know you got a good one when it comes marked as only 498 rounds down the barrel but comes with 6 ammo counters!! (it does get a little difficult to hold the rifle as round count increases though....but we don't want to mislead anyone)
  18. As long as it was a happy moment for ya, I'm good!
  19. Problem solved.
  20. We can all just tune into Air America and get the facts off that show.....wait Never mind
  21. What was his name?
