  1. Probably couldn't hurt....to join Norris. The headgear thing, probably should be left to those professionals. Over
  2. Does this mean that this element does not have a half life but is measured by it's NO LIFE ? Over
  3. Look out for Mike.357 and Sunztu. They will probably be in the area but are sometimes hard to spot. You just gotta know what to look for. They blend in well don't ya think?
  4. The old Army communicator in me is laughing his butt off at that one. Think I'll dedicate the whole rest of the evenings posts to that one. Thanks for sharing OVER
  5. So many choices, so little sleep.
  6. Before or after the Hogue grips??? I pretty much don't like anything I can't put Hogue's on. That includes ARs. I would have to count all the 1911's as the most comfortable once I had the better grip and finger grooves.
  7. I was gonna change my screen name to Beta8 but just couldn't bring myself to do it.
  8. Mike, I can't hear your posts well but please don't make fun of me for that....I might get angry. You don't want to see me angry!
  9. That sounds like a good plan and money better spent. Nice job Dave.
  10. And unless they are in the same County as you, the only way you MIGHT get them served is to file in their home state and county. Then you would have to either serve them yourself or get a private process server to do it. Your costs for that would exceed what your looking to get.
  11. Yes, $29.00 though Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Background Checks
  12. That's one of two recommendations I made in a PM. I don't think he will mind as I would tell it to anyone. TBI background check and a trip to the Criminal Court Clerks office to see the file and find out exactly how it was presented (the styling of the case) with final adjudication to TBI and thus NCIC. What he believes it to be and what is actually in the system can be two things. A lawyer would need this information to council him anyway.
  13. True Dat. No further discussion needed. That lawyer will probably still need that info from the Criminal Court Clerk I told you about in order to make an informed decision...unless you use that clairvoyant one we keep hearing about that's gonna sue David.
  14. LOL, not if you don't own anything in .40 !
  15. Your question did make me do a little research. If the incident you were involved in falls under subsection D of TCA 39-13-102. Aggravated assault. — then it can be a Class A misdemeanor. Make sure that's how it's recorded and you should be able to purchase. If it falls outside those parameters you could have an issue. Link to TCA provided and definition below: (e) (1) Aggravated assault under subsection (d) is a Class A misdemeanor. Aggravated assault under subdivision (a)(1) or subsection ( or © is a Class C felony. Aggravated assault under subdivision (a)(2) is a Class D felony. However, if an offense under subdivision (a)(1) or (a)(2) or subsection © is committed against a law enforcement officer, then the maximum fine shall be fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000).
  16. No, I don't think you can purchase a hand in any state. Maybe a mannequin hand? LOL sorry, it was just sitting there waiting. I'll defer to the legal types on anything being aggravated and still classified as a misdmeanor but Federal law allows you to purchase a firearm if you have NOT been convicted of a Felony. You will still go through the background check and depending on what is noted by TBI, which goes through the NCIC database, as long as it's classified as you state you should be good to go. Federal Firearms Laws
  17. Got mine today as well, and that was with a one day delay for the Texas snow storm. Get to "unload" some Hornady TAP that have been in circulation for about a year and a half now. I also got a good deal on some Federal Tru-ball slugs. Thanks again for posting Magic!
  18. Submit application for ammunition stimulus
  19. Get some. Not just for turkey season either. Rubber boots are now the way to help eliminate scent issues for deer season as they don't hold human scent the way leather and nylon do. Got my first pair three years ago, also Red Heads, and other than one of the pull on tabs coming off, they are still going strong. Get a small amount of thinsulate, you can wear them in warmer weather with no issue and still go into pretty cold weather with em.
  20. I wike his brudder better!
  21. Oh Snap! and I made them my new friends! Guess I'll have to just keep talking to Bronker and McFlurry.
  22. What does a hearing impairment have to do with reading?
  23. I had a Gerber LMF (Magiccarpetrides may still have it) and it was a fine knife for the money. Comes with a really secure polymer sheath and held a fine edge. If you can't do those knifes mentioned above, you won't offend him with the Gerber.
  24. I was concerned as well. I need two sets of grips right now but the ones for a S&W 457 are much more expensive for some reason. Hoping someone here has a set they don't want or need now. Put that up in the WTB. We need to shoot again. I need to start tickling Tantrum about selling a certain upper. I still need a flat top.
  25. You need an invisible 20 foot anchor chain for that thing Verne! He will laugh at your invisible fence unless you turn the power up to "incinerate".
