Your in Manchester, run down to Hero Gear. Joe's smith worked with Uker on his rifle. He has a gas piston version but they know AR's down there.

Compatible to your standard lower. You need 6.5 magazines though. Ukerduker would probably be the resident expert on the 6.5 that I know of here. I asked him a bunch of questions about the round a few weeks ago. I want one, no doubt, which one is the question. Model1 sales has a decent deal on a complete rifle, almost better to me than getting just their upper but I'm not sold on their quality. Alexander is really proud of their uppers. But then I guess they can be. Hit the 6.5 forums for more detail. AR15.com has a variants thread, if you can wade through the 6.8 vs 6.5 debate, to get to some good details.

I sense Emperor Palpatine in this picture. Don't know why.

Heaven in Westmoreland, and welcome to the boards. You'll fit in nicely here, I can just fel it.

Hopefully I can get down to Corporate this year and help him pay his taxes! Great guy, great statement.

I'll have to accept your statement based on your observations but that's not how it appears to me as I pass through your area. As to treating your visitors well, well there you go. You make it easy and profitable to have them stay, they will stay. Take away the magnet, no work if not legal to do so, what's to keep them? We don't have to deport any of them. Just make it so they no longer want to stay. That's fair and equitable as well as being compassionate. Let them come legally and it's a different story.

I would need some proof of a broad statement like that. It sure doesn't hold true in Tennessee, and more so here in Sumner and Macon Counties. Farmers here use the Mex labor and they are mostly staunch Democrats per what I have seen of their candidates and current county representation. Why would they vote republican for Federal and Democrat for local? Profiling is just what it is, using past data and information to predict the variables of the future. Cars swerving on the road are the profile of a drunk driver. People wearing masks into banks usually predict bank robbers and anyone coming out of a known drug area with plates indicating they live elsewhere lead to arrests of people buying drugs. It's a useful thing that thinking people use to do what little of crime prevention is available to LEO.

Blue State. Center of progressive liberalism or close second to Cali, where the call constantly goes out that we should care for our fellow man. Yep.

Always the contrarian, I celebrated Pluto day by riding the bike to work this morning in the 41 degree fog. I then drank a frosty .99 cent energy drink. Had ice water with dinner. Always a good day interacting with the cold for a Plutonian.

If that's the case, good!
-
I'll just stay here then and leave the rest of the world to itself.

Yet they are going to offer soldiers, the wielders of those terrible weapons that settle conflict rather nicely, a free ride! I think that is sort of in conflict with the picture of their conflict resolution picture.

I like to root cause things. Anyone remember when you dated, got to know each other real well, planned a wedding, got married then had the baby? All problems could have been solved with a bit of traditionalism.

VENDERS? We got coin operated machines here? I wanna diet Mt. Dew and some peanuts! Oh, you must have meant Vendors, the guys who advertise their shops and wares but have yet to forcibly take a cent from me! Got ya. Don't understand the rant, but got ya. Since we're talking and everything, Joe, how far off are those .22 conversion kits?

Mid-Tenn TGO Motorcycle Ride
Rightwinger replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in Events and Gatherings
Might be doable for me as well. Checking. I would ride the Trace this weekend in the rain if Joe would let me ride in the back of the monster red/white/blue Hero Tank. I do like being taken once around the park. -
Why does Deputy Gay always show up at these things?

So.....the Weather Channel is now calling for 70% chance of liquid sunshine Saturday. TDR, you need to set up motorcycle rallies and Nascar races in the Sahara, right after you buy up several thousand acres of worthless dry land ! -
Another +1 on the Springer micro's. My first 1911 was a micro and it ate everything I put through it. I got mystified by the big 1911's and bought two Kimbers and a Para Warthog. The Kimbers shot fine, I was always scared to carry them as I might mar my thousand dollar pistols, plus they are big! The Para was a dud, wouldn't shoot anything. You'll like the micro.
