And his thick cranium!! Well protected I assume!

shewww......figured that was something like that but still, talk about a tease of a post! Glad he will be alright. Have had similar incidents with jacketed .22s in the past. Had a little piece of jacket whiz back from a steel about 25 yards away and nick my ear. Had a small piece of jacket come back (180 degrees mind ya) and stick to my youngest one's cheek. It burned him and that's why it stuck at all. Luckily he had his eye wear in place and most of him was still behind the scope but just a reminder of why the protection is a must.

Happy 4th don't watch video tomorrow i,;s sorta of depressing
Rightwinger replied to JG55's topic in General Chat
They don't know and don't care. America is only a place to draw sustenance from until there is a problem and then it's the problem for these people. Thank goodness they had an older "American" with them in the final group. Someone who grew up with schools that taught history, tested for results and didn't try to apply social correctness, only facts. If you watched this video and missed any of those simple questions, shame....just plain shame on you. If you don't understand why there is a 2nd amendment, you can't hope to enjoy or protect it. -
Didn't post during my first read through as it's a very familiar document to me. However, the additional entries have alerted me that I did not read this to my boys this year. We did discuss the Constitution during Healthcare and can now discuss this during freedom weekend. Thanks for the scolding Mike.

I went from Verizon to pay for time with Net10 to last Sunday letting the pay phone expire. No cell phone and life continues on pretty much like it used to. I like no chains and will stay this way I think.

unemployment creates jobs, and at least we are not 15%

Reality is starting to assert itself again and it's harder and harder to twist the tail. If you have not read Atlas Shrugged, do so. You will be amazed at how well she explained the same things that are occurring now back in 1957. -
Same here. RRA two stages are the best I have ever gone. Hear lots of good about the "Guys Lee" but never felt the need to move on from the RRA two's

Looking for a Good Lug mounted Bi-Pod for a AR
Rightwinger replied to JeffsSig's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Do NOT get a Versa-Pod. Many other brands, Harris seems to be the consensus on best quality for the dollar. -

No, this thing was yellow, the wheels were red and it looked like a bumper car. I got to find this now and post a picture.

My favorite part of the Matt Mason collection was the Space Plane! That and the Crawler. You can still find them on Ebay if you have the dough! Here's the Major himself! 1966 MAJOR MATT MASON BLUE STRAPS NO BROKEN WIRES - eBay (item 200487439634 end time Jul-24-10 10:33:44 PDT) Here is a XRG1 Space Plane, only 595.00. I had one. Wish I still did. Vintage 1969 MAJOR MATT MASON XRG-1 REENTRY GLIDER IOP - eBay (item 190411698716 end time Jul-29-10 18:36:23 PDT) Here's your jet pack! major matt mason talking jet pac - eBay (item 170506097855 end time Jul-04-10 18:02:04 PDT) They had a crawler last time I checked in 09 but none right now. I did find a few websites and this one had the best info. The pic linked shows a lot of the toys in one scene, the uni tread tractor, the crawler, the space sled, and the moonbase station. The station was cool because the beacon was actually a flashlight! Wildtoy's Major Matt Mason Mattel Playsets Page Yeah, I loved that set up. If I was brave I would go find the pictures of me in my snoopy PJ top and tighty whitety's playing with it Christmas day 1967 or 68.

Could this be true the NRA plans to endorse Reid In Nevada
Rightwinger replied to JG55's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
That will cause me some issues! -
You were a rich kid Oldguy! All we could afford were the caps and then steal Mike's rock to set em off! Test for tough guys was to scratch the caps with a finger nail to make them burn
-
You played with a rock and some twine Mike. Anything else was obscure. Oh, that reminds me. Sewing thread tied to a big June Bug was a great model airplane! Of course that's kind of obscure for someone from Cincy.

Nope, PSE Bruin, Whisker Biscuit and Montec G5s. Same as the last three years. Boring but I'm used to it.

We would save all the "dud" firecrackers and tear them in half. Light the end and they would be flame throwers against those sinister invading soldiers! Bottle rocket wars When we moved to Florida for a year, we discovered that dry chlorine for the pool and dot 4 class brake fluid is poor mans napalm. Put the dry chlorine in a baggy so it won't get hit by the brake fluid immediately, stuff it in a 2 liter bottle, pour in brake fluid. RUN LIKE HELL> That stuff burns hot and fast! How did we survive?

How many different calibers have you used to kill a deer?
Rightwinger replied to KahrMan's topic in Hunting and Fishing
I loved it but don't own one any longer. The length of the rifle makes it easy to get on target and I only used iron sights. Back when I was using it (in the 80's early 90's) we had not put up the first stand on our land. Sitting on the ground or moving slowly stalking, it's a great rifle. When we started setting up stands, rifles with scopes became the better option. Weight didn't matter any more either. If you have an AR, you get the same big bullet and better ballistics with the .458 Socom and you just pin it on your regular lower and use standard mags. I only had one deer run after hitting it with the Socom and it only went about 20 yards. I forgot to add my .50 caliber muzzle loaders. They work well too! The boy has a 25-06 that I'm starting to really like. That may be an option in my future as well. -
Yeah, the 130 would have been leaving a greasy spot on his back and his buddy would have been close enough to make him cough!

+1 on the Thing Maker The better version of that was the Incredible Edible Thing Maker Astronaut Matt Mason and the Moonbase Whizzers Clackers Can't remember the name but it was a sit down riding toy, like sitting in a hard plastic innertube with two big wheels on either side, you could spin, go any direction and crash like hell into your brother and try to knock him off his Big Wheel.!! All this nostalgia stuff is making me sad.

I only did that once and it was a C5 jump. The rest of the time, if the engines were turning, we would be sleeping.

What show would you like to see brought back to TV?

Um, Hello!....his private was full! Bronker and I had been sending a few PMs last night but the last one would not go through. I don't have his current email and didn't want to call as the kids were probably asleep. Forgive me for taking liberty with the forum to alert him that he could not recieve any more PMs and provide some standard TGO fodder for the crew to chew. Maybe he will finally check in and see his name in lights.
-
Not an expert. It was so obvious that his privates were full I could tell all the way from here, and I'm like 75 miles away from him. Besides, it's David's programming that's telling me this, not an actual observation. TGO David, why would your forum tell me that Bronker's Privates were full? Not only that but he doesn't have enough space to store his privates!! (gasp)
