Show guns to Mom in the house after clearing safely might be a good take away as well. Neighbors need not be involved this way.

Was I still playing?

What gun is that?

Thanks XD.

that was posted here long ago. At some competition a guy starts with a magazine on the table in front of him set facing up. He takes his pistol, slides it down over the magazine to seat it and whips the pistol back and forward to rack the slide, then starts shooting. I have someone that wants to see it and my attempts at search failed. I'm betting someone can recall and link to it by noon. I'm counting on ya. Thanks for the assistance.

Uh, nope. Got me a second job since we applied and got drawn. Working weekends now.

I'd be in if we do it again. I always liked keeping two or three players and forfeiting those 1st and 2nd round picks if you keep anyone. Adds to the complexity of the league. Also makes you think about keeping that injured superstar on your roster at the end of the year.

With the coaching decisions and injuries of my team, the Titans could beat me right now. I made a huge switch at QB and it cost me big time. San Diego tanks, there goes Tolbert, Nicks is injured and the Giants are turning into a run team since Eli can't throw up right now....Austin Collie, my go to receiver has been hearing voices in his head for three weeks and Hines Ward was apparently hiding behind Big Ben's broken nose last night. The only thing still working is Turner and he's nothing to write home about. pitt2, you are pretty much a lock to get in now as I have to play the Cheeseheads next week and it's to early for the top NFL teams to start resting their starters for the playoffs.

Welcome those two young men to the ranks of sportsmen. I love seeing tradition being kept alive in these times.

Not sure what the rules are for POTUS but I was part of the team involved in nuke release authorization when I was stationed in Korea way back when. I took an elbow to the mouth as well and pushed my upper teeth through my upper lip. Several stitches later and a couple of Tylenol 3, I was headed back to quarters when I was informed by the XO of the unit that I was off PRP (personal responsibility program I think is what it stood for) and could not be involved in any exercise or real time communications because I was on a pain reliever. Not a bad thing for me considering that usually meant getting up in the middle of the night to go open a practice cookie or something. If Bo was provided pain relief, did that mean that Joe was the one with the football? Now that's a nightmare to consider.

Get some snap caps and have someone else load your mags so you don't know when you'll have one hit the chamber. They will tell you and your observer exactly what your doing. Also great for malfunction drills.

TICS was definitely having issues today. We had some backgrounds go in around 11:30 and sit in pending status till after 4 PM as stated in above posts. Sometimes we could get in and knock out an approval like normal but we would scramble to write down the approval number because minutes later the system would boot you off and we had to wait to even enter the information into TICS. We got the same email that the Federal system was down and that was the issue but I don't know why that would kick us off Tennessee's system? Once it all came back up and stabilized, they got to working the back log and all our checks were approved by 4 or 5. Not good for people waiting to take their guns home today but still better than a waiting period! The saddest thing is there appears to be no redundancy in the systems so if one link in the chain breaks, they all just kick back and stop.

The OP fails to mention that the said gun was already discounted 50 dollars on the everyday price so no, there was no more wiggle room. All Springfield pistols and rifles are on sale. The shop was D & T Arms in Rivergate. I'm sorry we couldn't reach a deal but as stated, there is not a ton of profit built into guns or ammo. We have a limit to where we can go with a gun sale and still make enough to cover overhead and then buy that next gun for the next customer. With gas the price it is, if you go out once more on a price run, you'll probably get close to eating up the 18 dollars that you wanted to seal the deal with. We're open Friday at 9 am if you still want it (and it's still there). We want your business but we also must generate the revenue needed to run the shop. Thanks for coming by.

My wife couldn't do the Bersa .380 very well at all. Got her an XD9 sub and all was well!

Yeah that's the original "enhanced pat down" isn't it!! I always gave those special folks in my life an extra tug on the D-bag to make sure it was good and secure! I almost pulled a "special" major in the 319th off his feet checking his rig. Yep....all adjusted now, your good to go sir!

ZERO for Rightwinger. I only had the day and a half to hunt this year so the game plan was to look for big boy Sat morning, switch over to doe or buck Sat afternoon and Sun morning. Well, yesterday, could have knocked down a nice mature doe and then either got busted or heard my 4 wheeler getting blown at for 5 minutes by an unseen deer. After that the winds were high both Sat evening and this morning, the full moon was letting them eat all night and the only other thing I saw was a big raccoon that had me straining my eyes for 30 minutes at dark last night. Still, all in all, I never got cold, had good fellowship with my brother in hunt camp/cabin and decompressed in the woods. I still win! Maybe next year. Ya'll go get em next weekend. Sounds like the weather will finally get good for hunting with some cold moving in.

Perfect fit...that's where that scope needed to be, on a long range long barreled rifle!! Glad I could help and thanks for helping me out taking it HC. Now put up some pics of targets with small groups from a long way away.
