  1. So should I just set one of the two that are inbound to D&T back for you and just call ya? I can set back a couple of boxes of ammo as well. Then we can talk on reloading it as you will definitely want to...just saying.
  2. They keep showing those shows on Discovery about the pig invasion like its a bad thing!!! ( I am not a farmer and understand they are a huge pestilance but I'm hoping a few wander onto the farm in Wayne Co.)
  3. I've never bothered with it. YMMV
  4. Is this where we talk about pancakes vs waffles again?
  5. and...uh....we have two SOCOM uppers inbound at D&T. We also have 3 boxes of factory SBR 300 grain JHPs for the Socom at the shop...swing by, drool, take something large home.
  6. Sure....sure you did. LOL, Socom rounds can accent anything. I think a gratuitous "dinner" shot with the Socom items should be undertaken.
  7. Your man servant would always be there to let you in.
  8. Now put it on a aircraft carrier elevator system and put it underground when you want to! Perfect!
  9. A .22 in honor of the Mosquito?
  10. Just another reason to support your local, living right there with ya gun shop folks!
  11. That's why we stock the factory stuff. I offer every customer 50 cents per case if they don't want reload.
  12. Give into the dark side forte10! We have factory SBR (Southern Ballistics Research) ammo in stock.
  13. I speaka da english ver goot. It was such a small issue you wouldn't think it could have hung up the loading process like that but it sure did. Probably a Friday gun....places to be, things to do, oh, guess I'll finish one more plus two extension then the weekend....blah.
  14. sneaky sneaky Ask 56Fordguy about pulling the trigger on one. It's like a super AR virus.
  15. Here's another pic of the stick.
  16. I have an extra two stage up here on the hill. Why not just start off with a good one? LOL
  17. I shot it down in Wayne Co after helping a buddy get the nice bird and coming home with nothing for me. Sunday's in the near future look like great opportunities for safe cracking. Got some better pictures of the stick down at the shop but never got time to upload them Tuesday night. I'll post them up tomorrow night. When you getting your upper?
  18. I finally got to get one of the uppers that have come through D&T (Dave has two more ordered...show up and get your name on one NOW). I put her together Tuesday night and got to shoot her today. The specs, standard Rock River Arms 458 Socom upper with aluminum free float handguard. Midway lower from right here in Tennessee. Rock River 2 stage trigger, Rock River Operator stock, Hogue rubber grips, no name bipod, Leupold Mark AR 3x to 9X optics with Weaver mounts. Shooting 350 grain Moly coated SBR Ammunition FMJs as I haven't had a chance to do any reloads. Zerored in three shots and then did some gratuitous hydro dynamic exercise shots as I didn't have any cinder block or other heavy material to pound on. Enjoy. Sorry, I'm tired and apparently have forgotten how to embed the videos...Links are good though. http://s87.photobucket.com/albums/k131/Rtwinger/?action=view&current=MVI_3652.mp4 http://s87.photobucket.com/albums/k131/Rtwinger/?action=view&current=MVI_3653.mp4 http://s87.photobucket.com/albums/k131/Rtwinger/?action=view&current=MVI_3654.mp4 http://s87.photobucket.com/albums/k131/Rtwinger/?action=view&current=MVI_3655.mp4 http://s87.photobucket.com/albums/k131/Rtwinger/?action=view&current=MVI_3656.mp4
  19. That's a dang small coffin!
  20. How expensive is it for the US to have NO energy? The race should be on for us to skip an entire generation and begin an infrastructure of smaller nuke plants with super safeguards (some quite nice ones are available to implement now and more could be drawn from these) and continue on the road to fusion. We know oil will run out eventually even if it's not in our kids lifetimes...but we either go forward and survive as a modern society or switch to TRUE GREEN which isn't Birkenstocks and weeknds eating salads and rolling your own...its humanity reduced by 90% of its current size and a return to pre-1800's style living. I choose lights and central heat and air over tallow lamps and chopping wood (which then starts to run out by the way)
  21. There was a flock of birds about 30 strong on the west side of Vietnam Veteran's in between Hendersonville and Gallatin Saturday morning just mocking me. Two huge toms all blown up in the middle of them. About 30 yards off the highway. Behind them, a subdivision. These birds won't ever hear a shot. I could feel them watching me as I craned my neck to look as I drove by. Dang birds.
  22. What's the going union wage for banner waver now? If I hold up an American flag within sight of you will you file a grievance?
