1. I started hating Thanksgiving 12 years ago. Work in automotive logistics. America settles in for a long holiday weekend, Canada and Mexico car plants still want their parts. Thursday is another work day. Bah humbug, holidays...
2. Push reset and start over
3. Bobo on that TV show sure thinks so.

5. I saw what you did there.......and I liked it.
6. Are you saying we need the Borg?
7. Any organism will fill its territory to capacity then slow it's birth rates. I guess we're full America.
8. +2 Slugs suck. You can't get that crap off you once you've put your hand down on one on your deck. I did wake up with a tarantula crawling up my leg back in the 80's. Deployed to Honduras. Out of the secured area on training, sleeping on the ground. Woke up thinking something wasn't right. Laying on my left side with a full moon going, I saw the things SHADOW. One of my guys says he thought I levitated up and then rotated to my feet I came up so fast. I caught the bastard and put it in an MRE bag. He got to fight a scorpion the next day and lost. All that being said, I've held tarantulas before, and as long as I can see em coming, spiders don't bother me....except for the brown recluse. Now that's a nasty spider as they live amongst us all. Even the black widow's don't like a nasty ole brown recluse.
9. Clairfield....you just about can't get there from here. Did an investigation there ONCE. All 10 people in town knew I was there before I did.
10. You need to note the directions they are coming and going with and set your stand or blind up there, not at your food plot. I've found it harder to get a shot, most notably archery, when I'm at the spot they feed at because they are not moving and see and hear everything. If you can get along the path to the food plot, you catch them moving and can standup or adjust your shot much easier. The habits are about to change anyway, once the shots start going off, they start moving at different times anyway. More folks in the woods keeps them moving as well.
11. Ahem....I am not green, but I do have some Hornady Zombie 12 gauge laying around somewhere
12. There we go, that's where I thought he was born. Doesn't seem like it now though.
13. Where was he born again?
14. sigh.....there's apparently a gutter on every street.
15. Don't see how this could happen.
16. I know, let's have a spelling bee!
17. Next time you launch anything over 200 grains with that "area denial" weapon, you let me know. And if its as accurate as you say they are, you can put three rounds through one of my holes....LOL
18. Save your money. With a PC or laptop just about everywhere in your life except the car, what do you need with this money sucking distraction. Get a 21 dollar a month cell phone for emergency talk and text and live life free of the umbilical to Apple or Microsoft
19. You will have to wait a while on it but the Rock River Arms LAR-8 series are good ones.
20. The polymer tip may also be the deciding factor. If it's right on the edge of penetration or deflection, the polymer may be acting as a starting point then a lubricant to hole the plate.
21. Just a factor of speed and weight vs thickness and tensile strength. Depleted uranium isn't really hard just really dense and heavy. Put a layer of tungsten around it and launch it really fast from an Abrams main gun, and it goes through any armor currently known. What your friend did was launch a bullet that was fast and dense/heavy enough to penetrate. I'll relate a story from the guy that makes the 458 Socom. He had a fellow in the shop that was fireforming brass, put some powder in new brass, pour some oatmeal or cream of wheat on top of that and seal with paper towel. Supposed to be enough to exand the brass in a chamber for a good overall seal. Well this fellow was working with some 50 BMG brass and poured a bit to much powder in the case. Tamped it down and sealed it with three wads of paper towel. Fired it at the wall and put three holes in the standard aluminum siding of the building. Paper through aluminum...just got to launch it fast enough.
22. If the reloading issue goes to "blowing up guns" have they banned Glocks from being used at their facility? :stir:
23. Insulin and other medications shortages have been the subject of SHTF books since the 50's.Great read back when I was a kid, still somewhat applicable today. Frank knew his stuff http://en.wikipedia....ki/Alas_Babylon
