If you haven't seen this, remove all liquids from the area now !
Rightwinger replied to Rightwinger's topic in General Chat
There are more of these. One of them not in this set shows one fellow (a turban wearer) getting knocked back so far that he drops the rifle into the glass door behind him breaking it and knocking him to his knees. I'll see if I can find that one again. This one will continue the carnage though. [ame] [/ame] -
I caught BRD bad this year. Once everything arrives (two uppers still being built) I will have the 5.56, .204 Ruger (both here now) and 6.8 SPC and .458 Socom. With the availability of stocks and hand grips these can really be tailored to anyone. I love em all, bolts, semi, muzzle loader, pistols. Not enough money to get everything I want. There is no bad gun, cept maybe for anything made by a Frenchman. At least those are cheap, never fired and dropped only once.

Welcome, Nice goodies for a 19 year old. Keep collecting. He who dies with the most toys does win! (ETS, even your typing gives you away)

Saw Sam just an hour ago when I picked up my rifle. He said someone had called about getting some blueing done from the Boro and I said we had been talking him up. I didn't ask how long it would be but he appeared to be his normal "steady" in work load. Sam is good people! Hope you give him some of your business (all of you in the area). My old Savage 110 looks brand new with the blue and a nice new trigger. Sometimes old and simple are the best. I think if I had to give up all my rifles but one, this one would stay with me. It's been the bain of many deer over the years although it hasn't been on a hunt the past two. I reckon its due for an outing or three this year! RW (Dmark, is your ATW-ABN a "stand in the door" type or whop whop type?)

DMark, I guess that would depend on his work load. A little known secret is Sam builds a lot of Uselton's custom 1911s. If he has a bunch of work from them it will take a bit. My rifle has been with him several weeks as I was having a new trigger installed and reblueing it. Its been ready since last week, I haven't been able to get by to get it. I would say a week would be good but again, talk to Sam. If your coming up from the Boro, take 840, get off at the 109 North exit and come up to Gallatin. Once you get into town proper, look on the left after you pass a Mapco store and you'll see the building. If you see the Sherriffs dept or make it to the town square you went to far. A phone call would probably provide most answers and make your trip more productive.

Gallatin Gun Shop, its in the same building with Asherbranners Pawn. The guys name is Sam. Phone 206-0075. He's got one of my rifles now. He sounds gruff and but will take great care of you. (no credit cards, and if your out of town I would say no checks...bring cash) A complete rifle was around 150 as I recall.

:)thats essentially what this is, a round free float tube with your standard swivel point attachment for sling. I don't know the nomenclature for it but its the type that has the single hole in it and you attach a sling by pushing one side of the sling buckles link in and rotating the "link" out of the way, insert the rod that is now open and then rotate the link back into place and release. Wish I could recall the name of that sling attachement system. I don't have pic rails or a bayonet attachment on this thing. Heck, here's a pic of the upper.

Why not have both? Its America dude. Just remember, Glocks can jam just like any other gun. Saw this one jam just the other day.

Minnie Pearl welcome ! (for those of you who are two damned young, its.....Hooooowwwddddyyyy!)

I just got a new 26 inch bull barrel .204 Ruger upper for my AR addiction and this thing HAS to have a great bipod system. It's freaking heavy! Duh, stainless steel does that, I just had no idea till I got it pinned on a lower and hefted it to my shoulder. Now, I have a Versa Pod purchased from Rock River Arms, but to be honest, it is to loose and does not latch on well to anything but a Pic rail. The standard attachement has lots of wiggle room and will eventually bang up the finish on a rifle, don't waste your money on these. So, back to the question, anyone know a shop carrying Harris stuff? I want to attach one to the rifle before I buy as this has to be rock solid! ....and before you ask, I'll post gun porn later when I get the stock I'm waiting on. Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

I'm sure if you price it right you can be rid of this particular headache in a flash!

I am familiarizing myself with this site and hit the "Who's on line" option. Saw myself and 4 other members but what was interesting is I saw two "Yahoo Slurp Spiders" and one "Google Spider". I am only assuming but I would guess these are bots designed to go look at thread data and that is how you get those links into a forum like this when you google search. Funny how they show up as guests....

Shot one AK in my life, my brothers old one before he burned up the barrel. OK guns, I guess my history of being brought up in the cold war and being trained by the US Army in the 80s to recognize that weapon as a threat has permanently scarred me. I don't think I could own one even if given to me free. I would sell it and get something in a bolt or AR platform. Not disparaging the AKs, they work very well. I just couldn't do it:(

If I ever do a pistol caliber it will be the .40 S&W as that will match up with my PT 24/7 for ammo. All you'll need for the .22lr is an adapted bolt so that won't even require a upper change out. If you want to go really advanced, you can get into the MGI quck change barrel systems. One upper and lower, carry extra bolts with chamber along with you and change in under a minute. Expensive though. What's holding you back? With the political climate the way it is, NOW is the time to buy your black rifle and continue the spread of BRD. RW
