Sorry Mike, God made him but he chose through the free will given by God to walk the path he is on. You might say that God made people theives or murderers with that thought process. Nope, we all choose to live the way we do. Its all free will vs free will. There is a a right way and wrong way to every action or thought. That's what he is looking for and why he enjoys us as his children, we have the opportunity to decide for ourselves and that gives him, that omnipotent essence, joy...because he didn't decide it for us, just gave us the path and ability to live it. We suprise him all the time....

If I had any money I would buy stock in all the big motorcycle producers NOW ! I just bought one, another supervisor where I work got one today, another is going to buy soon. There were aleady 5-6 bikes parked out front of the office daily. There is like 4 threads going on here now about bikes. Its here to stay with gas the way it is. Look out, there are going to be alot more of us on two wheels out there folks. Super bike Joe. Now, you going to make your parking lot bike friendly? I mean a guys bike could tip over in the jungle out front?! We are actually talking with upper management at our facility about making a bike parking area complete with concrete strip for the stands so they don't melt in and tip over in summer ! ! Ride safe

Rightwinger replied to TerryW's topic in General Chat
Not to change the subject entirely but dang it TerryW...I just about poked a hole in my laptop screen trying to kill the damn gnat that was crawling around on the screen! That thing is to lifelike to the uninitiated. Back to goobs and guns, in progress. -

I won't be in a Freightliner, but a lot of the guys I work with will be. I have probably seen you in yours while I was looking to see if it was one of my guys headed out or back to the terminal.

I'll wave at everyone along Airport road then....surely it will be one of ya:)

I'm going to ride as much as I can. Put 33 miles on her tonight breaking it in around Westmoreland and Bethpage. Going to have to run her back by America's Motorsports though as it has two issues. One is a "gurgling" sound coming from the tach between 2500 and 4000 RPM...weird right? The other is the idle is not coming back down to a normal idle even after fully warmed up. Its staying up around 3500 RPM until I give it a bit of clutch engagement and it will come down but pop right back up at the next stop. I think the choke cable needs adjustment for this. Other than that she is a dream to ride. Much easier to horse around than my old ZX900 Ninja from the late 80s. I come through G town every morning and afternoon going to work. Airport road to bypass town and then 109 south to just before hitting I-40. I will keep an eye out for that beauty in black.

Heavy sigh!

Rabbi, I hope you got a good one....or I hope I only had a bad one:mad: I got the Para Light Hawg about a year and a half ago and loved the look, the feel and the compact size. The only thing I couldn't love about it was it wouldn't shoot reliably! ! I mean higher than 30% FTE and FTFs with that thing. I lubed, shot everything from Wolf to Hornady TAP through it and it still didn't like anything. 4 different mags which I had added the Pearce Grip extenders to (recommended). Ended up trading it for the Kimber Compact Stainless II. Also recommend the Hogue grips. The little things are sporty and you want all the grip you can get. Here she was, in all her 40+/- days of glory with me. Original configuration add ons Pearce Grip extenders, Hogue grips, Insight X2 light/laser (piece of crap) along with the Streamlight Streetfighter hand held (very nice light) and a Gerber.

Brought it home tonight. Suzuki GS500F from American Motorsports in Madison/Rivergate. They didn't have any Ninja 250's in stock and only sell Kawasaki at their Nolensville Road location. It was the right price because it was an 07. Sorry for the stock pic but its dark outside. Thanks for your input, I did take it to heart.

OK folks, first, used would be my first thought but if you have noticed, I have been SELLING guns of late. I have to finance this so USED isn't going to work. Most folks don't want the call to be how much will you take per month... The wife works for the school system so she doesn't get checks for three months every year but no one quits eating or using the AC at my home during the summer:rolleyes: Next, 250 is all I want for several reasons. MPG first, don't need to do 170 anymore 2nd. (did it on the old 900 and it was great and scary). I like the handling on the sport bikes though and like the ride better than straight up seating on a cruiser style. Thanks for the info on the UMs nsnate02. I will check into that further, especially since they state the bikes can get 113 mpg on their site.

I figure gas is going to get worse before it gets any better and I'm already paying 80.00 a week just to go to work and back. Add a few side trips and I'm doing a 100.00. Going to have to finance it but figure that anything in the 200.00 a month range is still saving money, especially until mid fall. Okay, I'm mid 40's but young at heart. My last bike was a Ninja 900 but I sold it in 1989 when I got out of the service. I'm looking at the Ninja 250 and waiting on a quote from America's Motor Sports. Also going to swing by the Castle on Gallatin Road and check out this bike and company I found surfing. UM bikes? So my questions. Any better shops in the area that I don't know about? How much profit do the shops build in...can they be talked down? Anyone know anything about these UM bikes? The Kawa 250. Hopefully not in the green but Plasma Blue

Since we are talking knifes I'll throw a plug out for a friend that has sold me my Spydercos and Benchmades. He is also starting to put some AR accys on the site. Help a good fellow out if your looking to buy a knife. Last Christmas I ordered a bunch of smaller knifes for my crew on the dock. Some of them were not what I thought they would be when they arrived. I told him I had screwed up and he said send em back and what do you want to replace them with. He shipped the replacements that day before I had even put the returned ones in the mail! Big Sapper knows customer service. http://www.sappersupplies.com/

Which one is that Len..? Thats my hometown, even though I reside in Westmoreland now, and I didn't know of another one. Course I hardly ever go through the middle of town now and detour on Airport Road to head south on 109 to work. Clue, wave to me as we pass going to work tomorrow:p

Ha...its easy to miss if your not looking. It will be on your left just before you start up the hill.

Sadly only one option in Gallatin. Asherbranners Pawn shop. If your on the square, its on S. Water (109 South) two blocks south of the Square. Thats also where Complete Gun Shop is. Its the next building after you pass the Sherrifs Dept/Jail/General Sessions Court. Good thing is you can walk to it from the square. Not a huge collection but you never know as inventory turns over.

Rightwingers Zombie eradication system and attire Some of you have seen the zombie .458 and the shirt before...sorry, I just love that freaking variant AR and shirt our group came up with. Also sorry about the optics missing from the two pics, I had broke a scope just prior to that doing Zombie single taps practice. Guess the next day I can get em out in the sun, I'll do the Zombie arsenal shot on top of both shirts with the AR, 870 and .45 with appropriate axe or something! This thread just makes me

Boom Yes, .8 grains can make that big a difference, especially if you compress the charge and have other things going on. First, cut back to loading only 10 or so rounds at a time so you don't make a batch of bad ones. Without being there to see the whole process I would say the first thing I would check is all your dimensions. Overall length and circumference at the mouth the big ones. Compare to your factory and your manuals specs and see if all is in the green. If all your dimensions are good then its time to look at powder levels. If your already loading above minimum and close to hot it should work. Are you belling your cases? I would look at the mouth width and make sure if you are belling your bringing it in tight enough seating. Are you crimping at all? If so then you might be bulging the case mouth area. Hard to tell from a laptop 180 miles away guy but we will all jump in to help.

Damn man, glad your almost alright. Sorry bout the ride. Did this PUD get ticketed? I hope he was. I have been thinking more and more about getting a bike again after 18 years off them. This crap makes me rethink my thinking.
