That is the one bad thing about the big boys...no where to really see what they got.

Dag nab it, if they get a call of Domestic Violence they are coming in...period. If you haven't done any cracking on the other half, let them come in and then suggest they go talk to the caller and see who is paying way to much attention to whats going on at your house! There is a time to nut up and say no and a time to step to and say yes sir! Take note how they act and if you are civil and they are not then you can call their office and get their supervisor on the way while they are still there. If you and the missus are sitting there with popcorn on the table and smiles between the both of you they will probably shake their heads and want to visit the asshat next door for you!

Lucky, just buy mine and we will both be happy. Holler

You "think" and "believe". Well thanks for the facts. I'm switching right now! NOT So you generate your thoughts and feelings from what??? Bird droppings? No, a sane and logical person reviews the facts, data, actions and determines how they "feel" about something. Obama has no voting record that I can support. His "change" is all that, we need to make it better, not "this is HOW". Only the weak and uninformed will vote for this man......

Lyman and Lee will both put you in the right direction and are available anywhere. Get the Lee Anniversay Kit to start with and the book comes with it. The run down to the Reloaders Bench or order Lyman's on line. You get a good range of loads and powders using the two. Hogdon has a good online source once your familiar with the nomenclature as well. http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp

Well they are victims of the vast RIGHTwing conspiracy! I actually "cleaned" up my lambasting of ole Lefty a bit there. Did not want to violate the COC over fluff. Maybe he will come back and try to defend his choice, with a fact or two supported by logic and numbers, not wishes and feelings though.
-
Lefty just "feels" he is a good man. He wants to raise our "awareness" of yobama. He will soon post yobama's carbon foot print for all of us to sit in awe of! Raising awareness and feelings...its all they got and it amounts to zilch. No substance, no character, lots of "change", just nothing happening.

He wanted options, I gave him another SA/DA option. I had the .40 S&W version and it was a very nice weapon. I just want another Glock for me personally now. What I'm really saying is I like em all! Other than Ravens and Hi Points (just for Mike.357) I like all the guns. That's probably been my problem the last couple of years, I overspent a bit and now its biting me.

Saw this on channel 2 WKRN and it tugged so I'm sending em a little something (even though I'm selling a lot of guns to survive the summers bills I'm going to find room for this) http://www.wkrn.com/global/story.asp?s=8703120 Donations can be made to: Sgt. I don't know if the Glock light will fit as I have never owned one but the Streamlight TLR-1 and TLR-2 will fit on the Glocks, XDs, Taursu PT 24/7 and AR rails. I have used mine interchangeably with them in the past but currently own only the ARs (but looking for the Glock again). Has momentary and constant on switch and I think they sell the kit for a pressure pad but have never looked for it. Good size, durable, aluminum body, bright 80 Lumen light. Under 100 bucks. Harder to see as it matches the rails and its a bad pic but its mounted on the right side for access with your left hand

That looks fantastic!

No doubt..owned a Nova for turkey hunting and loved it. Both of my boys have New England Firearms 20 gauge singles for their turkey hunting. There is just something about the feel and look of the 870 and its variants that is just the cats ass. I put some tacticool on mine but hopefully didn't destroy the look you all have come to love about them.

Kind of like why taxes are taken out of your check on the front end not paid by you quarterly or yearly. The government would never get their money if you first got your hands on it then had to write the check to cover their spending habits! FAIR TAX ! read it, know it, push your legislators for it! If you think the rich don't pay their fair share, you need to push for FAIR TAX as well. Basically consumption tax. If you buy more you pay more. Its protectionary for low income as well. The lowest income households would actually receive money from the FED as the "poverty line" is established. Ever wish you could choose your TAX provider?

As long as you have picatinny rails on the gas block and a flat top upper you can install BUIS. Some varmint rifles are built for scope optics only so they have bare or covered gas blocks that are under the handguards so that would limit you to a scope only rifle. From what you and I have talked about I would recommend a standard A4/M4 flat top with 1/9 twist for the most common 55 grain bullets. If you start going lower on the twist then you will be locked into the higher grain bullets for accuracy

Got a bottle of Miltec from a guy at work a few years back and have been afraid to apply it to anything. I guess having something "activate" on my weapons that isn't me pulling the trigger bothers me. Don't worry bout the cleaning, I have it down to an art. So when do you order your upper?
-
Yep, the only painful process in the world of AR (to me anyway) It probably feels worse for me because as a ROTC cadet at UT Knox we were trained to dry clean the M16s after we dirtied them up with blanks. Cleaning this way is long and tedious but CLP was a dirty word back then. Armorers found that the first editions of this "miracle" were allowing the gun to be cleaned, stored, and then it KEPT cleaning itself....they would come out of the armory filthy as the CLP kept pulling more carbon out of the tiny cracks and crevices. Their solution was to never put CLP on them, dry clean with cloth, toothbrush and the brass/stainless brushes. Oh and pipe cleaners...must not forget pipe cleaners. Average cleaning time after we got in from the field was about 4 hours as I recall. Sucked to be us. TDR, get your self a good one piece cleaning rod and the nylon .22 brushes. You won't need the metal ones. Get a modern CLP and the best oil you can find. I use Kroil (made here in Nashville) and Lucas Gun oil. Others will chime in with their favorites. Get a bag of patches and an old cotton T-shirt for wiping things after the intial clean. I usually clean next day and spray the CLP liberally in the upper and bore and plug the ends with patches and let it soak overnight. The lower usually only needs a wiping and oiling. I also use gun scrubber aerosol to spray down the bolt and carrier in a jar before using CLP. Hell, just grab a 6 pack for after the shoot and I'll "guide" you through a good cleaning session. I will WATCH every move.
