3rd hand of course, but I know the "source" and feel its reliable. A Mid TN area Mortgage company that services loans for "smaller market homes" has as of last Friday, had 14 calls from clients stating they would no longer be making their mortgage payments as Obama had promised he would take care of them. Of course in the current financial environment, they may very well get away with this for 6 months or so in the backlog, but unless courts and Sheriffs all get new laws handed down, these folks are going to be on evicted eventually. You can't fix stupid and you can't buy America with a big smile and ears!

Nothing wrong with the red dots. Just use them as designed. Don't try to make them into sniper scopes! They are great for both eyes open shooting. Burris makes this: http://www.swfa.com/p-12495-burris-1x-fastfire-red-dot-reflex-sight.aspx Its much smaller than my eotech and will mount on pistols, shot guns and currently lots of tac guys mount this size on the side of their scopes for target aquisition or close quarters when the scope is to much to use. Nice dot and takes up very little space.

Why spend the money. Practically everyone has a old allen wrench or 300 laying around. And after you have stuck one once, you won't do it again, unless you have Lee dies. You might want to polish up the inside with some rubbing compound. The best advice was lube well. Don't overdo it, especially full length resizing or you can put dents in your cases but do use enough and often to make sure you don't deal with this again. Imperial lube is your friend here!

Saw that on their website as I was doing some background on Armscor. I just bought one of their 1911s yesterday and will be working it in Saturday between hunting sessions. So far I like what I have seen. Of course its just been dry fired on a snap cap. Quality on this one is good. They could use a little more work on their feed ramps. You may have to just be the first to buy one and let US know how they work. I didn't even know they were making a wheel gun till I hit their website

Do you want recent or some of our "older" braggers? Three weeks ago A few years back

Drill the primer, cut a allen wrench off on the short end to reach in and get it turned to 90 degrees, put a penetrating oil like Kroil around the edge then vise grip the allen and yank like heck. There ya go......post 1K

Cats? We're talking about cats. I mean, cats? Come on we're talking about cats. (Jim Rome listeners will or should get the reference) Hey, one away from 1000 posts. I'll save that for tomorrow unless Strick or Verbal provoke me to premature "grandification"

Didn't get to go yesterday due to post season pee wee football action but got out this morning and heard shooting on every ridge around us but saw nothing but turkey on our hill. That's okay, I have a quota permit for turkey starting Nov 15 so this was good intel for that week.

You posted something? Never knew that about 1911's, cool. Glad they had access to that back then.

Front sight and main spring housing are don't look stock 1911 either. The one in the middle is straight GI.

I thought the loser was going to turn in his wings again and Mav and Goose were getting another shot at Top Gun. Back on topic (for Tungsten), Wildcat, Mountain Lion, Cougar, what ever they were, they were alive and well in Wayne County up until the 50s at least and my father told me about hearing them with the EXACT same description, a woman screaming! In fact, and this is kinda of cool and Americana, my father, his dad, and a couple of his brothers were on the way to a neighbors farm on a horsedrawn wagon to listen to a boxing match because the neighbor had a radio! They heard what they thought was a woman screaming and turned and headed home thinking it was grandma. Grandma had heard the same thing but it was up on the ridge behind the house and it sure wasn't her! She had the shotgun out when the men folk got back to the house. Ye gots ya a big kitty me thinks Mark!

The 1911 on the upper left has adjustable rear sights. That would make it altered and "modern" wouldn't it? Less than 50 years old. Thus a non qualifying C&R firearm.

maybe .22 long rifle is the better option

well damn, I shoot them whenever I can. Usually deer hunting (guess what their following?) Guess I"m not a real man either.

I know its playing quite a bit on 104.5 The Zone but I did flip to 105.7 this morning some too on the drive in to catch some JB&B. May have been on both. Bi-partisan means that rare occassion when both sides will support and believe in the same thing. Some of those subjects being Breathing Sleeping uh, thats about all they both really agree on for Americans. couldn't even do the eating thing as the libs who don't care if you boink your brains out and get disease or contribute to a pregnancy will hammer you if you serve or eat saturated fats in New York.

Several of you have probably heard former State Justice George Brown's endorsement of Lamar Alexander. I guess you take your endorsments where you can but I always look a little deeper at things and determined this is a little microcosm of our society. Judge Brown is an African American, he says so in the ad. He was the first African American appointed to the State Supreme court, appointed by Lamar. He also states that Lamar helped get another African Amercian appointed to the board of directors of TVA. All good so far, if they were the best men for the job, right on! Then it goes south....He then proceeds to tell us that after he votes for President, he is going to vote to send "his friend" Lamar Alexander back to the Senate. Hmmm....so your only voting for him because he's your friend? There is no statment that he endorses him for his platform...other than the connection that he supports black men for office. So a democrat, and the unspoken statement is he will vote for O, then turn around and vote for a republican, doesn't state any solid basis, facts or history on why he's voting for Lamar other than "his friend" got him his position as a justice! He's crossing party lines because of his friendship, not because of Lamar's concepts of politics or platform. I'm sorry, I could not vote for any true liberal, even if they had been my former boss or gotten me a great job. You either have a believe standard that is what your are 24/7/365 or you have no standards. Anyone else heard the advertisment?
