I hate to make an announcement about something so silly...
Rightwinger replied to TGO David's topic in General Chat
I thought Schlitz gave you the sheelites? Sheesh -
and sadly your very good at it!
-
Yep! I did. And after all that, I went by KFC and got the second hand version of hot wings and went on home. I didn't feel like leaving Sveltna alone in the truck.

oh, and get used to having those calipers out and in use! Check after trimming, check after resizing, check after seating...check check and re-check!

Damn, now I gotta clean the garage out so you don't see what a sty it became over the winter! Before you mount anything else, do a run through with your books out so you do all the "movements" of depriming, sizing and ramming a bullet home before you permanently mount anything else. You'll be suprised how much movement is involved in everything. With that size bench area you will want to do things in batches, deprime everything, resize everything, and so on. I like to work from right to left, you'll see why when you see my set up. With your ram on the far right, I can guarantee your working left to right! Seating your bullets after throwing a charge is going to be the most movement. Lay it out in an assembly line. You may have a good enough powder measure to throw consistent charges but I just used mine to get "close" then trickeled into a funnel cup to get exact grain weights before pouring into the case. Set your scale up, put the powder thrower up in place and go through the motions. Remember you have to have all the unfilled cases in one area and somewhere to go with all the finished ones when done. If you don't have them on order get some of the Franklin Arsenal cartridge holders for the calibers your loading so you can set the cases in an upright position as well.

I'll book them days as BUSY as soon as you give the word. If you can work them both in we can trade places as well, one in DC and one in WC ! My treat! -
You mean I could have sent you a check instead of you grabbing the bucks from my hands! I could have saved some fingernails from getting ripped out.....sheesh.

Sveltna needs some loving!!! Yeah I'll hunt birds with ya. I'll even take first watch on being the caller since your making the offer. I have my youngest in Hunters Saftey this week so he can go and he is wicked with his 20! Let's plan this thing into action! -

Yeah, if its a deal, get it, if not, you gots enough for a couple of years shooting right now! -
They must mean all those "Entering the (insert name here) watershed" signs! I mean, why the hell would you spend money to announce your entering a freaking watershed? Someones buddy got rich on that state contract! Okay, so it got me interested and I looked it up on TN.gov. Here's a message from Paul Sloan, our deputy commish on Environment and Conservation. The important part is we paid 280,000 dollars for these un-needed things. So if they are roadsigns for an invasion, Their Here! They are called tree hugging socialists and they done took it all!

Just hit it at 2210 hrs and its still the same! They will take it off before long. It's to lopsided for their liking.

How many you shoot depends on your manly man status! They are not .22s but they aren't 3.5 inch Magnum Turkey loads either. I have shot all 20 of an unwrapped "bag" of the Brown Bear and knew it when I was done but other than some bruising, it ain't nothing you can't handle. I would class it a 6 or 7 out of 10 with the SOCOM you shot being a 4/5. If I can ever find who makes that recoil pad that perfectly matches the Mosin butt stock I'm buying it! Slip on's don't fit it so I have only shot my first one bare nekkid. I got another one that is itching to shoot but can't find the time. I have my youngest in Hunter's Safety this week and we shoot on Saturday but I don't think they want us bringing any private weapons for afterwards:( We need 56Ford to tell us when to come shoot Mosin's. That or Bronker needs to Pony up and tell me when to get over his way. -
You all can find me pretty easy most days right here! Just say the word but I am gone during most of the hunting seasons. Turkey is right around the corner.

Get you a Harris and clamp it on. It has a clamp that spreads when the tension screw is released. They go on each side of the sling swivel mount on the forearm. Tighten the screw down and it pulls downward until the clamp is tight and the forearm of the rifle is tight against the ledge of the bipod. Your done. go here http://www.harrisbipods.com/ Don't waste time on the Wally world crap, it will not do what your wanting to do.

Yeah, we have slowed considerably as well and had two rounds of layoffs.

Well I will pass on the DVD and just assume I know all I need to know about the new guy in Washington. -
Nah, they are the new guys for CEVA, we are further out East Gate towards the auto auction. We use the puke green Mitsubishi propane powered units. Eagle was purchased by CEVA and is now CEVA Freight Managment. I don't know exactly what they are doing down there except confusing folks trying to find us! We pick up auto parts from suppliers in the south east reigon and consolidate them on our cross dock for shipment to Chrysler and GM. 113 doors of controlled chaos!!!

So CBS is cashing in on their unbiased reporting by making it all available to us, for a price, rather than reporting it on the news! Yes, you to can pay CBS to provide you with inside access into the campaign! My question is, if its worth money now, wouldn't it have been worth reporting then as NEWS Yet another factoid that shows there is no NEWS agencies any longer.

Depends on which one you buy and how your rifle is set up. A Harris going on a rifle with a standard (rounded) forearm and sling swivel mount takes about 20 seconds. I am not familiar with the rifle you stated you would put one on. Describe it or post a pic of the forearm. NEH? Did you mean NEF New England Firearms?
-
Newb, call me when you get your second one!

Probably doesn't mix into what your wanting to buy the tactical for but I had the standard Nova and loved the gun and its shooting abilities. I used it for turkey for 3 years but the darn slide on those things is so noisy it was like hunting with drum cymbals to me. I sold it and moved on to a 870. If you plan to use it for any hunting check that slide action. If its defense only, you may still want to check but it won't matter as much. Other than that it was more versatile than the 870 I have being able to shoot the 3.5 inch mags which the 870 won't and the interchangable chokes which again the 870 does not allow me to do. My 870 is that cylinder choked Police Mag by the way.

I agree! I can bring Mosins as well so we can wake up the others. I work on Eastgate Blvd R1100 so I know your area pretty well! Hate the dang traffic down there now adays though! So who has enough land and neighbors that won't mind loud repetitive noises? I have land to hunt on in Sumner Co but won't shoot targets there. I want some of it to stay around! We would have to go all the way to Wayne Co for my normal target shooting areas.

Hey Neighbor!! My folks live off Mt. Vernon Road in Bethpage and I'm up the hill from you in Westmoreland. Maybe we have heard each other shoot?

Several of us here it seems.
