I have only owned one and its the lowest cost Frankford Arsenal there is but its worked like a champ. I figure if it busts this year I'll have 3 years + use out of a 40 dollar tool. That's worth me buying another. Lyman makes good stuff but its all in what your willing to spend. Loaded up some 38 special last night and was wondering when I would hear from you again. You know that your coming back in the middle of Turkey season so it might be week night training! I'm gone the next two weekends (juvenile and regular opening weekend) but we can usually do some in the evenings. I just got with the boys and said they had to help me have the spring cleaning on house and garage done by Thursday!

I have had two come in after I had done a lot of calling. Problem was I didn't know if it was the distress calls I always start off with or the howls I ended up with an hour later. Maybe both. I have never called and had one just bound in on me though.

This is a little deeper than just calling BS on your big deer story cause you didn't post a pic. He has stated he is 19, a HCP or CCW permit holder from other states, has been involved in a shooting in a home defense situation and also has a g/f that may be stalking him or his family plus several other threads of "questions" that just make me think there is more under the surface here than a kid at UT who is a firearms enthusiast. I did not call him out for thrills or giggles and had been in touch with mods long before today.

It was the browser. I'm using Firefox now and it didn't want to link to it but when I opened it with IE it worked. Scared the piss out of my wife as we were watching mythbusters and it took a few seconds to download and then open the media player....That wounded animal sound had her jumping! Worth it just for that...LOL

I'm getting a 404 error saying the URL was not found on that server?? I'm using Randy Anderson's Primos Hot Dawg and Lil Dawg calls with good results for them answering, not much in bringing them in. I had about 7 answer me two weekends ago from about 2-300 yards off and I was already set in a climbing deer stand waiting on them but they never came in. I did have two turkey walk by and at dark a armadillo almost lost his life but I don't think he was reacting to any calls. I don't think they hear or see anything!

I would have to look back as I'm a fan (and alum) but I can't remember the last time they were there. I know Buzz didn't get them there.

Yeah, good game and the fact that it may have helped get another SEC team in the NCAA's isn't bad. I just wanted my Vols to win one SEC tournament.

That is true. I had some comments last year when the Mrs's modeled that Mosin stock I was refinishing. I think it was the mossy oak shirt she had on that captured some attention rather than any of her "other" attributes.

Man, I sure hope the Vols pull this out. They have played okay in the tourny but look great then like crap today. They have to be tired but Bruce needs to pull this one out. Look, I have followed and participated in his threads or his posts to others threads and its just becoming unbelievable. He can answer my questions or not as he likes. I am not the only one who has questioned the veracity of his posts and I have forwarded my concerns to the mods.

Have you followed all his posts? This kid has more action than James Bond plus he is always here! What 19 year old in Knoxville sits around on a Fri or Sat night hitting TGO when he could be out riding around in one of two jeeps with his hot girlfriend. As has been the case with a couple of others before, when you throw information out there that is on the verge of extreme, don't flinch when verification gets asked for. Maybe it's all true! If so I'll publically apologize for asking for verification of information he put out to the group.

What City/St would that be in Jeep Monkey? I suppose it would have to be in the last 2 or 3 years as well correct? can you make a plastic or polymer type wedge from something around the shop or house? Use a wedge interface so you don't strike the sight directly. My punch set came with a plastic punch that I use to do things like that so I don't mar finishes. Even at that, I would still put a patch or something between the plastic and the sight. Another item I use quite often now is an old turkey call striker. My AR is a nice tight one so a gentle tap with the striker starts those pins moving without scratching them.

I posted the question in Joe's thread. I have PMd Metal Head from Gun's and Leather. Checked the Google monster but my webfu is lacking. I did see on the Stoeger site that they do sell them with factory sights but there is no links to purchasing these separately yet. The Burris Fast Fire I have would be optimal on this as I could swap it between the 870 and the 350 but again, they apparently want to sell only complete kits with another Fast Fire sight and not just the mount. I'm thinking I'll probably just end up using the little factory bead this year but will keep on looking.
