Democrats, Obama, and the 2nd amendment...

Can't derive much from your handle but your post speaks volumes of your ability to regurgitate the left's rhetoric. You posted it so suck it up and take it. You can of course choose to leave at any time. You knew you would be a minority in this issue when you pressed submit. As far as I know, you haven't been in any of the policy or decision making meetings for any of the present or past administrations. All we see is the twisted views the media presents. Maybe you should take your own advice and turn off CNN and MSNBC for a day or two and get a little of the un spun news? To me govt has been on the decline since the "Great Society" initiatives but I still have to vote for and hope for the people that speak "my language" and then review their actions. Your a sucker if you think Bush/Cheney caused the current economic crisis. It's been proven over and over that Fannie and Freddie were pushed and sustained by liberal democrats OVER the objections and attempts to reform by the right side of the aisle. Couple that with unrelenting grabs by Unions for the Auto industry and you have the roots for both the unscrupulous banks and beat down overpriced American Auto makers to fail. The root of it to me is the fact that education has been on the decline for 30 years. Today's child gets told he won't be allowed to fail, that they have to accept everyone and everything and then don't get taught the basics needed to work as a part of society. Who pushed those forms of policy like no corporal punishment and "no child left behind"? Sure wasn't anyone who thinks good honest competition and individualism is a good thing. Want your kids reading Heather has two mommies? Might as well hand them the joy of sex in first grade! We are not as smart as we once were and it shows in how politicians and big business make their decisions. We also no longer understand that everyone is NOT equal and that some folks just are not going to be the CEO of a company just because they were born in the USA. They might be relegated to operating a fork lift or stocking the shelves at Walmart as that is where their intellect and abilities have pointed them. There is nothing wrong with this. The previous statement of education also lends to this. If they didn't try, and they don't care because someone is going to take care of them then they will achieve everything they sought....a check or Food stamp credit card. I can't figure what your railing on the folks buying up ammo has to do with the war in Afghanistan or Iraq but maybe that goes back to a persons education and conceptualization as well. Keep trying. -

Where did you get stuck Justaguy? I spent a year over there way back when the father was still in charge. I was at Camp Pelham just south of the Imjim river in a little ville at that time called Sonya-Ri. 1st of the 4th FA (a very capable FA unit if you know what I mean) We all heard the talk that before he died, Kim Il Sung was going to reunite the pennisula....oh well, missed that mission. I hope the sane few leading the north wake up and don't try anything further. There will be some surprises for them if they come south. No doubt if it's a major push they have the numbers. What they don't have is the know how, the technology or the will to use it with all their conscripts. They better know how to swim as well and have plenty of bridging support. Going to be a long trip south with nothing to cross those rivers on! Tell the guy driving the green Hyundai taxi to bali-wa and that I said Yobo sayo! Keep your powder dry!

I did that run a few years back....... in a Chevy Astro:sick: Luckily I have made the run from I-40 down to Gatlinburg on a Ninja 900 (back in the day) Hope to get somewhere more curvy this year on the GS.

There is a link to a local news site below the video's post. There are comments below that. One post says that same officer wrecked a car coming home from a bar. Police work isn't for everyone.

Found it and now got distracted by the post of the moron chasing a cop. Could be another 30 pager on that one coming! -
Nah, they shoot at you here in Tennessee

What network carries that? I took a day off of work and piddled around the house tonight. No wife, no kids (they are all at camp) and have re-discovered that there is some good TV out there. I switched back to cable a month ago and still don't know where everything is on this system (its a co-op so don't give me Comcast channels) -

Looks like Kari is pregnant. I didn't know that had happened. (I have not been to California but once in my life and it was back in 85) -

It's TV night in Tennessee! All over Mythbusters. The one they just did was making ICE blow up by burning thermite in it. It did go Kaboom! I'm trying to do the quarterly lube on the guns and this stuff is distracting me like crazy. -
Been discussed heavily on 458socomforums.com. Check here I have not loaded any gas checked lead bullets. I have used the 300 grain JHPs and 405 grain spire points as well as a few 86 grain aluminum ones for show and some 450 grain solids! They all shoot very well! The conclusion is yes, over time, leading could foul the gas system but it would be over a long period of time and when you get down to it, the quickest way to work around it is to buy a new gas tube and start all over again. Several of the fellows over there are already loading cast bullets like Berry's and Hawk. The .458 rifle rounds for the 45-70 are not that expensive for standard jacketed bullets. If your talking Barnes TSX they do get pricey pretty quick. They just did a group buy on those over there and are waiting for them to arrive. If you're looking for big bore alternatives to pin on a standard AR you get a huge selection with the Socom vs the Beo.

She should be laughing pretty good by now. These folks are getting tossed like rag dolls!

If your not watching Wipeout on channel 2 in Nashville (ABC) your missing a barrel of laughs. I saw the Japanese version previously and the American version is pretty darn good too!

Had to man.....it was Soooooooooo wide open for it. I thought about walking while you typed it! That count?

Whose got a potato gun going right now?

Last I heard was that since Tennessee does their own TICs check and not a Federal one that the Social has been required. It states that on the Federal Form because even though they ignore their own law, the SSN is not a form of ID. So who wants to video tape their next gun purchase KNOWING they don't need to provide a SSN. Won't lead to road rash of the head but should still be interesting to view on You Tube.

I meant to ask this the other night as it was all loading very slowly. Back up to fast again so I forgot to inquire. So what's up with doofus?

Like K191145 was saying.... I gotta stop watching Weaponology while posting here today. Take a day off work and have to come inside because of rain....dang it.

I think your best option for the least amount of time consumption and money is to make friends with a few of us here, pay for some ammo and/or range fees and let us provide you access to the weapons. That way you don't have to go through hoops, sell what every you finally did buy and worry about who is storing it for you. If you like that option or want to at least start that way, give us all a shout. I could be convinced pretty easily to go shoot with a small bribe of hot wings and some ammo:D
